Coffee and cake OMG you will not be disappointed. Lovely fresh and homemade cakes. very attentive and lovely staff

They were not the cheapest at £1.95 each but a perfect taste of Yorkshire abundance when we arrived home. The place was busy and lots of choice but we were happy with Blueberry scones with clotted cream and lavender jam to take away,

Me and my husband saw this very cute looking place to eat with what looked like lovely looking delicious cakes in the window (don’t be fooled) we got there there just after 9am (that’s the time they open for breakfast) we were told to come back in 15 minutes as they were not ready! Gave them the benefit of the doubt. We were sat at a lovely table and ordered The Posh Yorkshire breakfast and the bacon Buttie. Cutlery was thrown on the table! My husbands breakfast came out with no butter so I asked very nicely for some butter to which that never arrived! Which wouldn’t of mattered anyway as the breakfast itself was stone cold! and my Butttie which sounded really lovely was literally some cold bacon with not even a whole mushroom in between 2 slices of bread all of which were stone cold! I wouldn’t mind but we were the 1st to order, so no excuse on a wait on food or for any reason for our food to be stone cold as the establishment was not at all busy!

Oriental looking waitress faffed around unnecessarily seating us, forgot to take our order, coffee luke warm, had to ask 3 times for the bill, no please, thank you, hello or goodbye. Lots of others complaining about poor service, inadequate food etc etc
