Honestly don't think there's a better Chinese takeaway in Stockport.

Delivery was fast and ahead of time. Food was very tasty and the family ate every bit of it. I always order beef in black bean sauce and this was a good one so I recommend that, the beef was very good. 10/10.

Once again very nice food. They offer alot of different choices. The salt and pepper chicken box was really nice and well organised. Everything was perfect. This will always be my go to Chinese. The food was still hot. recommended. Driver nice polite

The food was red hot considering live quite a way. The chicken skewers were lovely tasty. The trio of chips,curry rice was perfectly divided and portion size was good. Definitely recommend and this will be my go too in future. Friendly polite driver

Food was cold, and had no flavour, chips overcooked and had no salt and pepper (asked for salt and pepper chips) and were tasteless, prawn toast had a finger marks in it, delivery took a long time, only good thing about it was the really kind delivery driver who was very kind an apologetic for the delay. 5 stars for the driver. Don’t think we’ll be coming here again though.

twice its happened now so it's a regular thing. don't order a quarter aromatic crispy duck and expect any meat on it! they literally shred all the meat off and leave you with the skin,, fat and maybe 3 tiny strips of meat! got one from jasmine House tonight and the difference is astounding

£9.99 for a Chicken Vermicelli, was mainly veg and spring onions. not much Chicken in it. Also £3.99 for small pot of sauce. Very expensive for what I got in my opinion

Arrived in good time, food was nice.

Took over an hour and a half to arrive food was abysmal no taste, not cooked properly, no love put into the food … even the prawn crackers tasted stale. The duck rice was full of fat, and the noodles were mostly onions and pepper. For over £40 worth of food none of it was worth the money.

Placed an order at 6:35pm. ETA was 7:35pm. The phone line has been engaged all night (I've been calling non stop). Clearly they took the phone off the line. Finally arrived at 9:05pm. No apology from driver, all food cold

although the food was late being delivered, it was lovely! the delivery driver was very polite and the food wasn't greasy at all! definantly recommended

Thai curry was unbelievably hot, teriyaki chicken was fairly tasteless. The quality and quantity of crispy duck was poor, came in a box already shredded, no where near a quarter duck, just enough for 3 or 4 pancakes so very poor value for nearly £15! Won’t be ordering again.

I have had food from here before a few times but this meal was absolutely awful. The chicken was chewy and the chow mein and foo yung tasted like polystyrene… I couldn’t eat it. Such a shame.

Really, really disappointed with our takeaway tonight, which is unusual for Happiness City. The sweet and sour chicken balls were so solid they were totally inedible, the chicken in other dishes was really tough and the sweet and sour 'sauce' was like jelly! Even the chips were nowhere near the usual standard... soggy and yucky today 😞

Specifically asked for hardly any chilli in my dish as I don’t like spicy food. However, it arrived far too spicy and I’ve had to bin it. There were only about 4 prawns in the whole dish too. Been using these for years so very disappointed tonight and not to mention a complete waste of money. Sat here still unfulfilled and hungry! :-(

The starter was just fried items with not a lot of meat included. The won tons were just mainly pastry. The garlic & chilli beef didn’t have much flavour, the chicken in the sweet & sour chicken balls was very dry.

I dont usually leave food reviews but i thought i needed to today to save anyone else wasting their hard earned £££. I ordered a takeaway from here through JustEat. I have just endured the worst food ever. We started off with a 1/4 duck which not only was the smallest portion but literally contained no meat all at a cost of £14.50. Then came the special fried rice....special pmsl...the meat was anemic and the rice was glued together, a curry sauce was ordered to pour over the food...it was full of powdery lumps. We did get some chips which were overcooked and again inedible. Never again..£35 down....learn by your mistakes

Waited 2hrs for my order. Rang the restaurant up twice got told the driver will be there in 15 mins. Rang back after half an hour to be told driver will be with you in 2mins. Tried ringing for half an hour to get through the phone was constantly engaged. This is the second time if ordering the first time I ordered was about 6 months ago waited for my order for 2hrs again. The food isn’t fresh at all. It was tasteless I paid nearly £60 for an order for two people. For the price they charge I was expecting my food to taste fresh and tasty. It wasn’t will never order from here again.

Been ordering food from here for here the past 2 years. I called up asking how the buy one get on free rice will work and was advised it's a mistake by just eat and to take it up with them. Eventhough I have already paid for the meal. They agreed to honour the order including the extra rice. A few mins later called back saying that they wont. Disappointed, company did not resolve. Also asked me to talk to just eat. Will not be ordering from here again.

Chicken was hard & the prawn crackers were soft……. Absolutely horrible

12 quid for starters for 2 was abysmal, 1 piece of toast 2 rolls 4 thin pieces of pastry with the smallest and driest prawn in. Chicken wings were ok. Chips tasted like yesterday’s fry , prawn crackers were stale also. Minute amount of seaweed. Mains were quite good though. Need to work on the starters and sides. 50+quid for the lot and not worth Hal the amount.

ordered at 20.50 driver was knocking on door at 21.03 ,food cold it was like the was put in pots and microwaved it couldn't been cooked fresh in the time from being ordered to delivered and the food was cold

Order a fish and it was soggy and looked as it was done in dumpling batter and just warm asked for mushy peas and was not could tell they was out of the tin

I have to say I was disappointed with the service from this takeaway, two items were missing i phoned to enquire they advised me they would call the the driver. They did not call me back, 25 mins later I called again as all the other food was going cold/had gone cold they advised me the driver left 5 mins ago. Despite calling and speaking to a member of staff twice I was made to feel like it was my fault and did not receive an apology. The food was poor/average but was obviously cold by then.
