Overall a bit disappointed. Food quality and service both left a lot to be desired. Order two mains, one came out around 6-7 minutes after the other.

Really nice location and lovely inside. The food was delicious. Really..the best Vietnamese food I’ve had for a very long time. Service was great. Other reviews have said it’s slow but this was not the case. This place is a real gem and I would definitely recommend it.

Nice food, BUT the service is incredibly slow. We have been 3 times and the service was like this every time. We waited 30 minutes for starters and our mains took around 1 hour and 20 minutes to arrive despite us being the only table when we originally ordered. It’s a shame because the food is nice and if they sorted the wait times, we would go back.

A pleasant meal in enjoyable surroundings. Like some other reviewers we found the service was a little slow, but we had our food perhaps 35 minutes after ordering. The staff were all very friendly. The menu is not large but has some appetising choices - we ordered five of the street food dishes, and all were delicious. All were fried, even the dumplings. Unfortunately they had run out of bread (so no Banh Mi) and potatoes (so no loaded fries), which seemed a bit inconvenient early on a Saturday evening. The wine was reasonably priced and quite drinkable.

Six of us went for lunch and although we were the only table the service was incredibly slow. Once the food arrived we were all surprised by how samall the prtions were. Chicken and rice for £15 seemed a bit seep especially for the size of the portion. A small glass of soda water and lime juice at £4.50 is clearly extortionate. ONA Once and Never Again my friends.

My wife and I are regular customers when we visit the retail outlet. When we were there on Wednesday 23rd October the coffee and cake was very nice but there was a cold draught coming from some of the air conditioning units. I had to move seats 3 times to get out of the cold draught. Also 3 other customers had the same problem.

My friend and I stayed here on Friday 18th October. A brilliant location just perfect, unfortunately that is the only good thing i can say about. From springs sticking out of the mattress, to faulty lights, not central light so room appears dark. However the worst is the noise, although we were told on arrival it would be a quiet night and finish early. It didn't and at 2am when the music ended the staff then made a lot of noise moving the furniture under a canopy which lasted nearly an hour. I can't believe they think people of any age would be able to sleep through such noise

The Woodland is close to Ellemere Port Hospital and serves for much of the day. Usual "Stonehouse" fayre. Very pleasant member of staff who checked for allergies and carried our drinks to our table as I am dodgy on my feet. We took advantage of the offer of two meals for £11.75 from a reduced menu. Pleasant food, but nothing special, except the price.

Stayed here a few times. Staff very friendly. The building outside is looking a bit tired and paths and carpark could do with a clean. A few huge holes in the car park need filling as very deep. Regular free WiFi is rubbish but you can upgrade your WiFi at an extra charge but for what you pay for your room this is a bit expensive. If staying a few nights you have to request at reception if you require room service.
