Your staff were amazing even though they are short of 4 staff ,especially Ed who went above and beyond for all the customers

Booked The Hampton Inn for a funeral wake. The staff were very polite, respectful and helpful. We were shown to a private area of the Inn where there were plenty of tables and chairs for our guests. The food was plentiful and tasty, there was also tea/coffee making facilities and chilled water.

There is only 1 member of staff Reka but she was exceptionally great and the was food was good it was all you can eat but you can go up anytime to get more there is pool table and darts

Came in with my family for breakfast not knowing that the restaurant was going to close in 45 minutes. We were slightly concerned that Reka was the only member of staff working so hard to juggle so many customers and tidying all the tables by herself. She is very polite and stays positive even though she is very stressed

Please don't book to eat here, I've just sat there for an hour waiting for a starter to arrive, ended up walking out and I wasn't the only one to do so! If I could give less then 1 star I would. I can't comment on the quality of the food or the service because I didn't receive any. I listened to everyone sat around me complain they'd been sat there for significant time without receiving any food. I'm guessing there was only one cook in the kitchen and only one server, there can't be any other reason for such appalling delays.

Went to Hampton Inn today with some family to enjoy lunch and drinks. Service was great and really friendly. Happy to see they have a pool table now too!

Truly abysmal, from start to finish. A failing business that should be closed for good. We stayed for 2 weeks and dinner every evening was either wrong, or served cold.

We went there for lunch and found it very good value for money. Nice surroundings. Good, friendly and attentive service.

I cannot say this in any stronger terms, this is the worst premiere inn connected reseraunt I have ever encountered. I previously stayed here 2 years ago and gave a Google review of 1 star. I returned in the hope things had changed. After waiting 20min for 1 drink to arrive and over 40 mins for a starter, I was then told "things had gone wrong" if i wanted to re order my food. Even though things "may have gone wrong", where in earth is the management followup for orders? A total diaerpointment yet again. New management needed to help and support the younger staff who were struggling. A bad experiance once is forgivable and understandable...... twice is just shocking and disperpointing. If you stay at the premiere inn, do not rely on the resteraunt to deliver. You may have a good experiance but unfortunately mine (both times now) has been a total diserpointment.

Could not fault the 3 course meal, came out in very good time, plenty to choses from the menu , did not at any time have to wait for any service by the staff. Very good value. All 5 star from us.

Lovely food, both evening meal and breakfast. However the absolute best part was meeting the lovely Sally who served us at both meal times. We were treated like family, she made our visit something really special.

Stayed at the Premier Inn next door and walked into the restaurant at 6pm thinking it would be a good idea to eat early. The staff at the premier inn didn't inform me I should've booked. Anyhow, place was empty but I was told that they weren't accepting walk ins as it was fully booked with customers from the hotel. I said I could eat quickly but no cigar. I wasn't even offered a table in the bar (also empty). Wasn't the end of the world as I found a much nicer pub in a village up the road, 5 mins drive, so actually happier that I've spent my money somewhere that needs and appreciates it rather than a chain that (in my experience) always has poor customer service and mediocre food. Convenient being next to the hotel but a poor experience nonetheless. I know their comeback will be 'you should've booked' but at 6pm, I would like to think they could squeeze 1 solitary person in for dinner. Affects my review of the premier inn too.

Went in for a meal with the family, very expensive for what it was.. small portions no real taste and £4.69 for 2 slices of undercooked garlic bread is ridiculous. Not worth the money paid for the meal. No real service, no check backs and to pay the bill team are sat behind team area chatting. Not recommended and definately gone down hill from when I last dined here

Well, honestly, don't even consider eating here. Food poor, cold and should you complain you receive grief..... It is clearly all down to the place being severely understaffed. Sort it out, this place could be a gold mine. The staff who were there for the breakfast service were run off their feet, desperately trying to top up everything, it was busy, but I am assuming due to staff shortages, kitchen staff were not keeping up with cleaning the used plates/cups/bowls/cutlery in time. Food was not hot enough. I did talk to staff members who said they were salaried, yet they never did their contracted hours of 40 per week, more like 80 hrs, another staff member told me that despite being on holiday a few weeks ago, they had been called to try to get them in to work. Dreadful treatment of staff. Come on WHITBREAD, sort it out. Treat your staff better, and recruit more people to help the ones you already have. you'll soon be complaining when profits drop......

Horrendous and needs some serious attention! The waiter Matt has to be one of the rudest front of house staff I've ever come across, and should not be working in hospitality. We stayed at the Premier Inn next door (avoid too) and ate at this restaurant for dinner and breakfast as there was a meal deal. At dinner, two of our meals were cold, and when challenged for fresh, Matt said he would heat them up again?! Aka they came from a microwave! When challenged for fresh meals, not reheated he responded "I'm not trying to have an arguement with you" and proceeded to be rude about the entire situation. Because of this we were not able to eat as a family, which was extremely disappointing. It doesnt stop there - Dirty glasses, lack of cutlery, staff didn't know who was doing what, no knowledge on the meal deal that they have advertised, demanding the bill was paid so they could close, smelly toilets with soiled toilet paper all over the floor. The whole experience was an utter shambles, and I cannot believe the place is open to be honest! The breakfast was okay, but they had a cup shortage and when asking for cups we waited and waited and waited, as a queue form, the cup situation became like a bun fight, when just 6 were put out for the entire restaurant! Food had clearly been sat around for a while as only some of it was hot. Crumpets were stale and stock was not replenished enough, clearly understaffed. Honestly, spend your money elsewhere - this place is awful.

Honestly we were met with such a polite chap. He explained that there were only two staff because everyone had called in sick (half hour before their shift started) and that can only offer a roast. Fair enough it's Sunday, roast is fine. He then ran himself ragged serving everyone as fast as possible drinks then lunch. Never less than cheerful and helpful. A other staff member arrived and pitched in to help. None of us got a annoyed because they were doing the best they could under the circumstances. Lunch was good enough and we were served pretty quickly considering. Well done

What can you say? It’s an absolute car crash, You would have thought this restaurant would be a safe bet with the Premier Inn selling their meal deals to customers and then sending them their way. My advice is don’t do it. Whether you are staying at the neighbouring hotel or just visiting - go elsewhere. You won’t struggle to find somewhere in the local area. My experience here took just shy of two hours for 1 drink and 1 main course. The lads working there are nice enough but the staffing/service is absolute chaos and the food is poor.
