Called here for lunch with our young grandson. The cafe is attached to the sales rooms of Halls auctioneers. Quite an extensive menu on offer and very clean and tidy. Service is excellent and food very tasty. Can get very busy.

Brilliant! friendly staff, Excellent food. Safe Covid 19 precautions. Always looked after as old friends rather than just fee paying customers. We always love going there to eat drink and be merry.

Really enjoyed a very good quality English breakfast before hill walking in North Shropshire. The food is all locally sourced and absolutely delicious. I often find a cooked breakfast too greasy and heavy, but this was spot on. Decent portions, good service and we were happy with the price. It was also nice to be able to sit outside.

Recently called in on way to business meeting just off A49 on edge of Shrewsbury, and really pleased with my decision. Plenty of free parking, clean spacious cafe with quality food and barista coffee. Staff were really friendly and service was good, as were prices. Definitely will call again.

Well above average food, well cooked, great flavours and wonderfully fresh. Only disappointment is that opening hours and days are very limited

The cafe is open to the public as well as serving their staff & people attending the auctions. It is situated on the edge of Shrewsbury. On auction days it tends to be busy, but when we popped in it was nice & quiet! There was a good selection of snacks available besides home made cakes. The staff were helpful & friendly. A nice place to go!

It’s a perfectly nice cafe. Friendly staff, decent food and drinks at generally reasonable prices. But I was very surprised to discover they have a sign on the till saying they only take Debit Cards. I presume this is because credit cards charge the retailer a fee for transactions. They are of course entitled to stipulate what form of payment they will accept, but given that almost everyone else accepts credit cards this may not be the wisest strategy. A bit off-putting I’m afraid.

This cafe is attached to Halls Auction rooms at Battlefield. I visited for lunch for the first time recently. The food and drink is very reasonably priced, it is also excellent quality. I had a steak ciabatta roll with chips, a side salad and coleslaw, all for £8.00. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

On viewing lots in Halls next auction we were pleasantly surprised to discover that there was a bona fide, stand-alone café attached.

Went for the first secret diner club evening that is run by Jess who owns the fab 'not today seitan' in liar liar..what can i say?.the food was on another level. Litrally the best vegan food in Oswestry and way surpasses anything else available in a vegan cafe in Oswestry. The food was beautifully presented, the flavours were amazing and the cocktails were beautiful too. Really hope the owner decides to run these evenings on a regular basis although once word gets around i imagine getting a table will be really difficult. Its great to see a vibrant young business do so well and honestly the co trading with Liar liar is such a brilliant idea. Two amazing businesses running side by side. I cannot recommend this highly enough, the best vegan resturant/cafe in town by far

Great service, incredible price, a vegetarian paradise!! When we arrived the kitchen was just closing but the chef asked us what we were wanting and then accommodated for us 2 fabulous meals. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Lovely decore and perfect music to go with it.

Honestly the best pub meal I've had in years! The steak and Guinness pie was delicious and chips better than many chippies. How they do that with bargain prices baffles me. Highly recommend

Very very disappointing...we booked for Sunday lunch..big mistake. We were not greeted on arrival, there wasn't even anyone behind the bar for us to let them know we had arrived.... But from there it went downhill....we were put on the smallest table in the furthest corner despite there being lots of much nicer empty tables available..we eventually managed to order drinks and asked to order food..The waitress mumbled something and walked off....a lovely young man delivered our drinks and said the young lady would be back.....when she returned to take our food order we asked what she had said, apparently it was they had lamb....then we tried to order but what she actually meant was they only had lamb nothing else and mostly no veg either...one of our party doesnt eat red meat so lamb wasnt an option but the waitress did nothing to try to help the problem...no offer to check if the kitchen could help.....I really could understand this situation if we were walk ins but we had booked...they knew we were coming....why would you not attempt to provide at least one other choice We drove to Bridgnorth from Shrewsbury to take some family out for a treat and thats the best they could offer....obviously we will not return.
