The best chicken burger I have had was here, perfectly seasoned and tasted amazing.

bought fish and chips today, must say some of the worst I've ever had, soggy and burnt (looks like left overs from lunchtime) the fish was over cooked and the batter really brittle. Spoilt my dinner completely.

Had to wait 15 minutes fir chips dut we couldn't wait we had a appointment to go to so asked for money back dont think thay liked that

I had large haddock and chips. I waited for it to be cooked which was fine with me. The fish was amazing and some of the best chips I've ever had. Extremely good value

Food is prepared fresh, which means it took 12 minutes, but the chips were really good. So tasty! The chicken was good. All in all great value!

Chips dry and too many fish more batter than fish and very greasy , cost over £7.00 and it ended up in the bin won,t be using them again....

Fish and chips is not normally our takeaway of choice because it always tends to smell better than it tastes! This is the second time we have used this premises since it has reopened have to say the chips were lovely (2 portions between 3 is more than enough for us!), my husband and son had cod which I'm told was very nice too! Definitely will use them again and would highly recommend (we went at approximately 7pm on a Wednesday night and everything was freshly cooked).

Fabulously cooked haddock and wonderful crispy chips. Yum yum.

Parking across the road in the free car park the staff were friendly and efficient. Cash-only the portions were well sized, the cheese used for cheesy chips actually melted and it did just what you want it to - good portions served quickly despite being busy. Getting back to the seafront (where bizarrely it was hard to even get a coffee), others asked where we got ours and we were more than happy to recommend it.

Not complaining about the food so much as the price .. £7 for 2 kids sausage and chips , also no card payments and the only cash machine nearby is £1.90 charge ..... £8.90 for 2 kids meals 😲

I don't review often but felt compelled to after having food from Halfway on Friday evening (hottest day of the year). Not an exaggeration- best chips I've had for ages. SO crispy, absolutely banging

Good fish & chips with friendly staff. I always get my cod & chips here & occasionally they do mid week deals or deals on specific dates.

Not a good food ratings but nice fish and chips

In previous years this was not too good. Now I love the food. The fish is proper thick flakes and not the thin mush. The curry sauce on one occasion was more like curry paste. So pleased to have a decent chippy on the island. Parking is available across the street in the council car park free.

Had the Senior Citizen Cod and Chips for £4.50 per portion, and TBH was expecting a small peice of fish with a few chips...Not so, the fish was huge, pure white with no skin, really crispy batter and proper chips, I'm a big eater but struggled to get through this meal, best fish and chips I've had in a long time...Highly Recommended... Thank you Frydays...will definitely be going back..
