HAKKA in Bury

We order at least once a week. Food is always hot and tasty and the staff are really friendly. Literally the yummiest salt and pepper chips, fried rice and OK Chicken Wings. I just wish they delivered instead of having to collect!

We were big fans of Hakka but have to say we are finally accepting that it’s not like it used to be! We ordered for two households and all of us were disappointed! One person couldn’t eat their meal as they found it so unauthentic despite this being their favourite dish that they’ve had lots of times. He also felt ill after eating it and ended up going to bed. The other meals were okay but bland and lacked flavour. No heat, spice or distinctive flavour despite being typical Chinese dishes. Sweet and sour, black bean and okay sauce dishes! My dad likes plain food but even he found king prawn omelette lacked any flavour! It’s not the cheapest either and you pay extra for chips and rice with each dish! We definitely will not be returning and I’m glad as the food is never ready and you always have to wait well beyond the time you are told! You need to do something fast Hakka or you are doomed!

Made a order here on Christmas Eve, phoned order in and they advised I could collect 1 hour and 15 minutes later. ( knew it would be busy as Xmas eve) when arrived it was busy and a lot of people waiting for orders they had also telephoned through. All together we waited 2 hours for our order ( as a customer advised oh it’s the best and worth waiting) god how wrong was this man. The salt and pepper ribs are the worse I have ever tasted, small portion of chips, the battered prawns you could taste the grease. And for the amount we paid it definitely was not worth it. Safe to say we will not be returning and am sure from that night there will many with the same thoughts, people were having to return as they had waited hours and got home and part of their order was missing, they also run out of rice, but they still continued to take telephone orders and advice their order will be ready in 1 hour. SHOCKING FOOD AND SERVICE

great food, nice staff. Special fried rice is excellent, as are the BBQ ribs and the Szechuan Chicken

We are very picky with our Chinese food and in our opinion nothing beats zuga fun In Ainsworth. However that was closed so we read reviews and gave this a try. We were not disappointed! The food was very good, the spices just right and not too greasy. The food was vibrant, fresh and the inside of the takeaway looks very clean. Please try this for yourself as you will definitely return- we will!

Absolutely amazing, love it, not had a bad meal yet, alway beautiful, hot and fresh. Highly recommend the salt & pepper chicken wings, OK chicken wings, crispy chilli beef and wet special fried rice x

Went there for the first time today, and can honestly say will never go back worse Chinese iv had told my daughterstthey said they tryed it once and never went back

Tried afew Chinese restaurants over the last year and have got to say in all honesty its one of the best.

We have visited Hakka several times now. Definitely recommend, great food and amazing choice! Immaculately clean.

We had meal for 2, meat spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken, chicken chow mein and cashew chicken? last night. They were all delicious. We enjoyed very much. As I am Japanese, I've got quite high expectations for Chinese food,( because sometime it's better to cook myself) but Hakka food were really good. We definitely going back again.

Tried this takeaway for the first time and I was very impressed. Food was really really good. More like Chinese restaurant quality than Chinese takeaway. The best spring rolls and dumplings I've had from a takeaway. Definitely recommend. Prices reasonable too.

Very tasty, good quality food. Immaculately clean and modern takeaway. Only slight comment is I wish they would do salt n pepper chicken strips as a starter but for some wierd reason they only do as a main

This is honestly the only chinese I will order from in radcliffe. The quality of the food is head and shoulders above the other places. I did nip in lie young for pie, chips, peas n gravy the other day and they've put up there prices to the same as hakka, no comparison imo. Anyway if you want some good food try hakka. I really like the char sui with green peppers in black bean sauce.

This is a great takeaway the food is very nice I think they should offer a delivery service or just eat type service.

Never a bad dish from this place. Lots of thought put into dishes and everything is so flavoursome. Would definitely recommend to anyone and fabulous service aswell

for the first time I tried hakka

Went to this clean and contemporary place last night, first thing I noticed is how the place looked so different from other Chinese takeaway, it's fresh and clean.

Have been to this takeaway a few times since it opened, and have to agree with the other reviews that it is not the cheapest around, but the food has always been excellent, the place itself spotlessly clean and the service friendly and efficient. Sorry to say that I went again last night and ordered a sweet and sour Cantonese mixed meat, which was very disappointing. Tried to eat it but struggled as the meat was mostly chopped rib bones. Come on Hakka, don't get complacent, you can do better than this!

I've been loyal to my usual Chinese for years......not anymore. Hakka takes the crown for best Chinese around! Awesome food.

High quality food from here. Not the cheapest by a long way but you definitely get what you pay for. Quality, friendly and immaculately clean.

So tonight we ordered Hakka again. We've had this numerous times now as its by far the best Chinese takeaway around here since Moon Palace went. The food is always hot, fresh and tasty and the service comes with a smile guaranteed everytime. Few of the lads have the hots for the young woman working there too lol. I personally would recommened the Chicken Satay with either fried rice or noodles and also the Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings. Yummy. Check it out!

this is me and my fiancé's favourite takeaway in Radcliffe. Fresh, tasty, full of flavours and spices ! The owner is super friendly too, always a pleasure to be welcomed with her smile !

After a number of visits I can thoroughly recommend this take-away. The refurbished shop is attractive and there is space for seats and papers whilst you await your order.

Quality and quantity. Always happy and remember my name. It personal and I like that. Always a smile. So thanks a lot brilliant.
