Haines Fish & Grill in Watford

Poor, 3 occasions. 3 bad experiences. Will not use again as if the service I experienced is a reflection of their food preparation and hygiene I can only assume that is as bad. Anyhow their loss and will still to the places I have used in the past and let them profit from my business. Well done

I defy ANYONE to find better Peri chicken than this place. Nandos is good, this is frigging GREAT! Better chips and service than Nandos. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT

Have lived in this area for a couple of years now and can’t believe we didn’t know of this great fish and chip shop/ take out Ordered home delivery this evening Food arrived within approx 15 minutes of ordering Delivery guy was very pleasant Food was well wrapped and presented Haddock was flaky and flavoursome , batter was to die for Very light and fluffy , totally edible and cooked to perfection Chips were freshly cooked and nice and fat and fluffy inside Very generous portion sizes at very competitive prices Really enjoyed the food and would highly recommend

We have used the fish and chip shop a number of times. They cook the fish while you wait. The portions are a good size. The staff are always polite. And the chips are never greasy.

£8.00 for a WHOLE chargrilled hot spicy chicken is superb tasty VALUE. Bbq spicy wings are delicious. Fish is also bang on. My only criticism is there's never Cole slaw or corn cob to go with the massive Family Platter. New menu arrives soon apparently, with Pork ribs and lamb kebab. Highly recommended

Been here on numerous occasions and its very hit and miss . More miss than hit . Chips overcooked on the outside and soggy on the inside and the battered sausages are of poor quality and dripping in excess fat . Would only advise if you have run out of other options locally .
