Habano Restaurant Leamington in Warwick

Had a lovely light lunch here in September, breaking a journey north. Café was small and comfortable, service was friendly and obliging and excellent scrambled eggs with salmon fitted in with special dietary requirements. Great coffee. Only downside is steep steps to cloakroom which might deter elderly and also disabled visitors (but doesn't deter the cheerful service!)

Over the years this place never failed deliver wonderful dinning experiences for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wonderful food and great service.

A small and comfort place. I have no idea of Cuban food so it’s almost a random choice. The Chicken Quesadilla is just normal.🫳 The coffee is nice.👌 The Spanish Omelette is amazing.👍

Best full English breakfast in town! Casey's service was lovely. Don't miss their amazing chai latte. Highly recommended for a hearty breakfast or cozy drink.

Perfect for Saturday evenings! Delicious tapas and great cocktails make for an ideal night out. Skye provides amazing service, adding to the wonderful atmosphere. A must-visit for tapas lovers and cocktail enthusiasts.

The food was excellent. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The Men’s toilet needs a good clean. It’s next to the kitchen.

A really great little place. One of the only places in Leamington that is open in the late afternoon/evening. Highly recommend, all the staff are very kind.

As a parent to young kids, eating out is a rarity atm. Came here with my wife for a lunch and it was DELICIOUS! Had a really tasty pulled pork burrito and churros for desert and excellent service throughout. We've been before this visit and will be back again!

Best tapas in Leamington by a mile, hugely underrated - open Friday and Saturday evenings and worth it!

Love this place so much. I’m in Leamington every few weeks and eat here as much as I can. Coffee is great, food is great. Service always very friendly and they go out of their way to look after you.

Clean and tidy plenty of staff 5 steps up to door 2 steps inside loo's down stairs 13 steps ,just 2 off us no grand kids full English breakfast and cheese and avocado croissants and great Cuban coffee 6 people eating

Piled tonnes and tonnes of cheddar cheese (?!) on to Huevos Rancheros to the point it was inedible and had to be scraped off. Took around 40 minutes from ordering to receiving food which was a bit strange, no explanation or warning offered.

Found this lovely restaurant on a day trip to Leamington. Service was good, not too quick, and the food was delicious. We had a quesadilla and a burrito bowl.

Booked table for 6:30pm on a Saturday, great atmosphere. The food itself was sensational, some of the best tapas I've had in the UK. Had 5 tapas, 1 desert and a few drinks, bill came to £80. Would highly recommend this place and would happily go again.

Great restaurant, but no service in the afternoon

Food is lovely everything made to order. But, it did take close to an hour to get the food & there was hardly anyone in there!

An absolute gem of a place. Great service and amazing food for our first visit. We ate outside in the little area at the back & really enjoyed it. We will definitely return in the future.

My partner and I have been dying to try this wonderful little restaurant ever since we moved to Leam. We decided to treat ourselves for our anniversary and Habano did not disappoint! The tapas style menu is so enticing and a wonderful blend of veggie/ meat/ fish options to keep everyone at the table very happy. We had six plates between the two of us which was plenty, especially because of the additional bread that comes out with the meal. The star of the show for me were the pork empanadas, but we also recommened the chorizo prawns! The weather was lovely so we sat outside on the lovely terrace at the back of the restaurant which has been done out beautifully. So lovely to sip wine and eat tapas in the sun! Our server Simona was absolutely lovely. She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We were the last customers in at 09:30 before 10pm closing, and felt bad keeping the staff working but she was adamant that we should stay and finish our drinks in the sun. Such a lovely experience, and was well worth the wait. A hidden gem in Leam!

Average and unauthentic food. It’s not Cuban, it’s definitely not Spanish. I am not sure what it is. We were told that the restaurant closes at 4 and we have to leave, when it fact it was closing at 4:30.

Awful. This is not a Cuban restaurant it is Spanish! The food was totally bland and overpriced. £20 for a tiny fajita! I wanted to try this place as the menu on the website seemed to have many gluten free options as I suffer from coeliac disease. The menu at the restaurant was not marked up, it was confusing. When I asked the waiter, she pointed a few things out and it was different to the restaurant. The one thing I wanted was also not available. When we spoke to the waitress about how bad the food was, she wasn’t really bothered and said she would let her manager know. Then proceeded to give us the bill. she didn’t let the manager know, and we paid the overpriced bill and left and ordered a pizza. Cuban and Spanish food are different. Please do your research and get better chefs!

My son's took me here for mothers day, breakfast was amazing, service excellent the staff were so helpful but not over the top, will definitely be going back.

Often meet friends here. Always good. Pleasant atmosphere and there are always folk chattering happily which adds to the ambience. It's reliable and friendly. And it has a dish named after Gloria Estefan! Recommended.

Nice food and atmosphere, great location if you are looking for something out of the ordinary in Leamington Spa. The location is not massive so would recommend booking ahead of time. The tapas are decent sizes, would recommend about 2-3 plates per person. The prices are also reasonable. Would recommend.

Disappointed with the service we received here. The blond lady working there was very helpful but when we came in with a push chair and asked where would be best to sit so we are not in the way, she asked the male manager (not sure if he’s the owner) he totally dismissed her and us, she then kindly tried to find somewhere for us. He didn’t even make eye contact with us so made us feel very unwelcome. He seemed to treat his staff quite disrespectfully, the young lady looked visibly upset after a conversation with him. The food was also very average. A real shame

Amazing food, I strongly suggest the Huevos Rancheros for breakfast. The playlist that was playing had great songs also.

Always a great place to come anytime of the day. We came for breakfast around 9:30 and ended up having all day Lunch and everything was fantastic.

Wonderful brunch today. Recommend the Cuban breakfast, omelette and eggs benedict.

Amazing food and drinks! Nice calm atmosphere. They used to do an amazing chickpea stew, but no longer on the menu. We tried other food and it was still great though.

Excellent selection of food drinks to choose from. Very friendly and professional staff. Parking in close proximity to the restaurant off the Parade main road. Definitely recommend for a visit with friends and family. Check to Pre book especially on holidays due to demand.

Great stop for sociable food and drink

Stopped here yesterday first visit since pre Covid. I’d forgotten how good the Coffee was (they also do sugar free hot chocolate). Had a slice of GF Lemon Victoria sponge absolutely scrummy🤤 Returned for lunch today and we were not disappointed, an excellent jambalaya and pulled pork 🥖 They also have a v good 🍷 🍻 menu All served with a welcoming smile 😃 We will be back…

Came here for brunch after a colleague told us about it - and a gem it is! Authentic and delicious! The staff are lovely too. Can't fault it and can't wait to visit again.

Went for a pre show meal with two friends. Service was polite, food came relatively quickly, we had set meal of 4 meat dishes with a few side orders, Might go again if wanted a tabas meal.

The jambalaya and quasedilla were tasty. We enjoyed our meal.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this place was so wonderful I just had to. The service was absolutely phenomenal. The 2 ladies serving were so so kind, polite and helpful. The drinks were amazing and there was a lot of drink in the cocktails versus other restaurants where they serve in tiny cups. The food was so delicious (we had the mixed sharing platter) and the churros were the best we had ever had. We could not believe how well priced everything was. The atmosphere was amazing and we had such a relaxed, fantastic night. This is one of the best restaurants I have been to and we will definitely keep coming back. Outstanding.

Good service and mainly good food, but wouldn't be my first choice to return to. Had 8 tapas dishes between us, and most were tasty: chicken & chorizo, veg and battered shell fish were the best. The nachos were very basic and would avoid.

Sadly, our visit here was very disappointing. While staff are lovely and welcoming, the food was a butter disappointment. My girlfriend and I had been looking forward to dining here for a few weeks, but when compared to food from places like Selminas (Coventry) and Bodega (Leamington), it is very underwhelming. I am still somewhat undecided whether the food was 1 star rather than the 2 I have rated. Burrito - came with no Guacamole, no salsa, no sour cream inside. It tasted like the Guacamole was store bought, runny and lacking flavour. The sals, the salsa was smooth...take from that what you may. It came open like a fajita appose to enclosed like a burrito. Attention to detail is lacking. Nachos - not to sound crass, but it felt like they simply emptied a big a tortillas, sprinkled a handful of cheese and put it in the microwave, most of the cheese hadnt melted. They sliced avocado as a garnish which would be better spent turning into Guacamole and placing on top. The amount of dip they gave was no where near enough for the tortillas. In the salsa, not a single tomato piece was to be found. Sadly, we do not recommend this restaurant for Mexican food. With the alternatives in Lemington, your better going elsewhere for food.

Very nice and welcoming restaurant. Cesar Romero was very tasty, one of the best pulled pork i have ever tasted. Also quesadilla is delicious. Exquisite cocktails, especially carribean Margarita was tasty. Attentive staff. Definitelly we will be back soon.
