We had a family meal and at the end my bank card wouldn’t work and I was unable to pay for the meal. I said that I would leave my driving licence with them and I’ll be back first thing in the morning to clear. I had paid half the balance on a different card so only needed to get half of the bill the next day.. The man owner was extremely understanding and was ok with our request but his wife she was a different story shouting abuse and coursing a seen! I have never felt so embarrassed in my life! Being called scum. Why did I eat if I can’t pay. Our bill come to around £300.. The owner (man) was so kind and said just ignore her!! She’s has no communication skills. Also felt as if she was being a bit racist as she said you people are all the same! Extremely unprofessional! We will not be spending time at this restaurant ever again and I’d strongly advise no one to use them. The bill was cleared as I promised right away and I collected my driving licence the next day. Not even an apology was made she was still extremely rude when taking the payment. I was saying how sorry I was and it was so embarrassing. If u had been rude I’d expected them to be rude back but I wasn’t at all. Just never will go there ever again! She needs removing from there business! Also had lots of food not eaten and was asked for them to come home with us and we never received the food on leaving with all the commotion going on! Was half the food we orded!

Sad to say very oily food. Didn’t taste nice at all. Naan wasn’t cooked properly either. Disappointed to say the least. Wouldn’t recommend don’t waste your money.

Mar24- Sunday morning brunch. They do a lovely breakfast set menu (£6.95) of pronthe (stuffed chappati) yoghurt pickle and masala chai. Wide choice of flavours - radish, cauliflower, potato, fenugreek. Also chick peas and bhatoori but we didn't try that. Delicious. Leisurely meal for a Sunday. Service was relaxed and not pushy! Old school music. Perfect. Good value. Parking outside (likely get busy on other days) Would recommend.

I visited last Sunday.I felt restaurant is too congested and very noisy atmosphere.Food quality was good specially mango lassi but service was bit poor as restaurant was full.

I had a wonderful dining experience here last night! The food was incredible and the restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and had a great atmosphere. It was a busy night and the service was a bit slow at times, but the owner genuinely apologized for the wait at the end of the meal. I really appreciate them acknowledging it and their sincere apology shows they truly care about their customers' experience. I would highly recommend coming here! The food is top-notch, the atmosphere is inviting and the ownership clearly cares about customer satisfaction. I'll definitely be back for another delicious meal soon!

Food quality is not good. I had ordered Daal makhni and karahi paneer.

I visited here recently with a friend during the day around midday when there were no other customers. We were greeted by the owners wife who was very hospitable & sat us down. I visited the washroom at first & have to say their toilets are cleaner then some hotels so my expectations of the food were high. Having sat down I admired the beautiful contemporary decor and relaxed music in the background and ambience. The menu was very extensive and we chose Fish Pakoras to begin with which were absolutely tantalising to say the least & a generous portion. Alongside some yellow lentils, chicken curry & naan bread the food was better than expected in fact would put some London establishments to shame. Overall a great experience and cannot wait to bring the family along next time & try other items on the menu.

I really like how nice and spacious the interior looks. The place has a nice aura to it. It literally feels clean and positive. The lighting also gives a nice atmosphere. A place that I would take a whole family for a nice Indian dinner.

Had a awesome time there.. veg platter is unmissable and Naan are delicious

The dishes were subpar, lacking flavor and freshness. When I voiced my concerns to the owner, they brushed off my feedback with indifference, leaving me dissatisfied with the overall experience. I won't be returning.

Worst place to be. Would not recommend anyone. They charged us £186 for three people in which £14.50 were for something we didn’t order. They charged us £5.95 for a bottle of coke.can you believe this!!!! The quality of the food was worse I ever had. When I complain about charging £5.95 for a simple bottle of coke and complain about the food quality, the lady at the till said to pay half of the bill. We still paid £150 but will never ever going back again. Being a customer and paying that amount for the quality of the food, the staff was not happy to take the feedback which is very disappointing. One star is still a compliment for the restaurant.

My family and I visited GT Road restaurant this evening. To begin with we were given poppadoms which were not enough for a family of 4. Not only this, but they tasted slightly stale and chewy. Once we finished these, ironically we noticed that the table next to us (couple) received a much larger basket of poppadoms, so not entirely sure why ours was so small. Whilst eating our mains, my son noticed a hair embedded inside the butter naan. We immediately told the staff who took all of our naans away and advised they will bring fresh ones back. This meant we were left with our curries for a few minutes going cold until the naans arrived. We did consider walking out but gave it the benefit of the doubt. Once we finished our meal, the bill was given, and to our surprise they charged us full including service charge. We did question the table staff regarding the naan and whether this could be taken off the bill, however to our surprise the manager refused to take this off, given the tainted experience involving food and hair. The manager was aware of this, however did not once acknowledge, let alone approach us to apologise or provide any good will gesture. Instead, she stayed sat on her usual table in the booth, trying her best to avoid any contact with us. As a result, we are deeply disappointed and shall not be returning. Although the food here is decent, for me its the customer service and acknowledgement that needs to be addressed and improved before I even think of retuning. The manager could have atleast come to us, so this was the biggest disappointment. Would rate zero star if I could!!! .

Went with a group of friends nice family restaurant the food is really nice and the service is fast, but one thing they don't mention when you arrive only tell you when you are just about to pay the bill is that they charge corkage if you bring your own drinks, wanted to charge us £15 because I brought a litre of Vodka.

Amazing food, hands down one of the best desi restaurants around town. The staff is lovely and hospitable as well. Lovely experience.

We had our registry lunch booked here for 25 people. Upon booking, we found staff rude and unwelcoming and it was worse on the day of our event. They lacked attentiveness to us, and our guests. Although food was good, staff had to be called upon over and over as they were not asking us when we required anything or what we needed. This lack of initiative for our whole event made me and my family feel very annoyed as a lot of us had to get up several times. Seemed as if the lady in charge on the day was on phone throughout, and all of them were having their lunch 10minutes into our event starting. We’ve been here 2/3 times before and expected our event to be handled well; hence we booked the restaurant. However, we had a very upsetting experience for our special day. I am sure this level of service would not be acceptable anywhere.

Its a little weird watching people working when trying to dine and the drinks are very, very expensive. The service was excellent seeing as the 1 waiting staff tried to manage all the tables while another made drinks. The starters were good, not the best mixed grill and weird to have a random tandoori chicken quarter. The kebabs a bit dry. The veg platter equally is unimaginative with a samosa, small bhajia, and a bit of chana. The mains. The nihari was excellent. Soft fall of the bone excellent. The butter chicken was ok. Lamb curry was a little dry for me. The saag paneer wasnt that good but the dhaal makhni was. The veg haka noodles were quite oily and a bit bland. Another plus was the Naans were fresh and crispy. Overall it was good but there are many other options that do great food. If youre close by and fancy indian food then its a great option. Unsure if id travel to visit.

We booked a table before 2 hour then we reached there the bar tender lady said we don’t have any free table she said you have to be wait now we are going back without eat it’s very shameful not recommend anyone

We had dinner here.we ordered vegetarian food which was not freshly made ..salad was so saggy and veg biryani has very big n uncooked veggie pieces..mango lassi was smelling so bad.we didn't finish anything ..service was very good but sorry to say food was good.

Food is decent. But everytime I have asked the staff to pack my leftovers they have thrown a lot of my food in the bin and packed a little bit. I am someone who cannot eat entire portion so always have leftovers. This has happened twice now so for this reason I will not come back to this restaurant. Its a shame as this is our local and many of my neighbours have had same experience.

A very pleasant 1st time visit with the family for a birthday. The food was amazing and many of the dishes we had were really authentic and tasty. All dishes tasted unique and had there own flavours. The meat and veg dishes were cooked to perfection and the flavours were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to others and I will be visiting this place again for sure. The staff bhumi, kusum and komal were very professional and polite, and the customer service was exceptional. This place is very clean and was fairly busy after 8pm on a Friday with good vibes. U can also bring your own drinks with a corkage fee. The quality of the meat was very good and so were the drinks. Il be coming back soon with friends and family.

WOW!! That should some it up! I ordered a takeaway last week, all I can say this a one of THE best restaurants around for miles! I ordered saaag, methi chicken, makhi de roti, and jeera rice. The saag was like my mum makes it absolutely spot on, the methi chicken was one of the best i have tried ,full of flavour and real methi leaves, not like the other restaurants claim they put dried methi in it which is NOT the same,it's like proper punjabj food, The makhi de roti was so fresh and its hard to get that right too! beautifully presented food and amazing in flavour! And delivered hot! Needless to say this will not be my first order, already placed another one this evening, hope the quality is the same as last time, my husband was super impressed! Thank you to the chef ! Keep up the good work ! I also did make a call to the restaurant and spoke to the owner /manager Kiran and said how impressed I was! Thank you and keep up the good work, will hopefully be dining in soon x

I’m giving 4 stars because the service was awful unfortunately, the staff did not pay attention and had to be called upon, they took so long to clean the tables but having said that the food was definitely 5 out of 5!!! So fresh, so hot temperature wise and totally delicious. An absolute gem of a restaurant and I’m so glad we chose to come here. Honestly if the service was better and the staff were more attentive and observant then GT ROAD would have definitely got 5 stars from me! I’m hoping they take some time out to train their waiting staff because the service was too slow but the food was amazing! I’ll definitely visit again but please train your staff. The menu had a great choice of foods to choose from. 🙂

We visited twice, at first we tired GT special handi chicken & second chicken aachari. Both time food was delicious. In starter this time we ordered chicken 65 & has a different flavour, we liked the taste. All over we liked so far. Two girls in front are calmly served the food. Environment is good to dine in.

Nice restaurant with delicious food. I ordered evergreen vegetable curry.. paneer butter masala, garlic Naan and fresh fruit juice. Everything was delicious and well served. Staff were nice and genty. I will recommend this restaurant.

As a vegetarian. I never saw anywhere much option.but at gt road i tried chilly paneer, gobi munchurian,chilly mogo,gobi 65. All the veg snack was like wow.i liked it so much.the garlic naan is also very good with panner butter masala and daal.over all food was awsome and very friendly environment,good staff as well👍🏻

Our advice is to read your own statement again , if you saying that we were drunk then you also saying that police escorted us to our cars in drunk condition 😂. What a fake statement ??? And second , we also informed the police officer how you swored at female customer and triggered the whole situation . This was the first time we booked a table here on recommendation from some family and friends that had been. Must say it's a lovely restaurant nice Decor 👌 excellent customer service food came out promptly as this was one of our concerns, as we read some reviews saying they had to wait over an hour for their food but we are happy to say we did not experience this. The food was really nice, proper punjabi taste in everything. We could not fault anything we enjoyed everything we ordered from the starter's and the main course we will definitely return to GT ROAD😊

First time I felt compelled to write a review for a restaurant. Came to GT Road Restaurant, in Yeading on Saturday just gone. There was 12 of us . Food was lovely, mixed grills were a good size, hot & very tasty., as was the Armistari fish. For the veggies in the group , the papri chat & veg Manchurian were very tasty. For the mains we ordered lamb Karahi, Butter chicken & Daal makhni with a selection of naans. Very nice. Staff was attentive, topped up drinks. I will definitely be coming back & would recommend this place to anyone.

Not as good as it was when first opened and one member of staff(lady with glasses very rude) does not know how to communicate with the public that pay for a service, not in a hurry to rush back and I could sse I'm not the only one as she was arguing with customers, sort it out.

I went to this restaurant last night with my family expected good food and a great time, however when ordering food the customer service was very poor as the little crazy women with short hair and shoes up to her knees had disrespected me and my family and left me in shock as I was leaving the restaurant she was embracing as she was shouting at her stuff, she's is not a good owner, absolutely disgraceful, I hope maguire slide tackles her football shoes she wears because she's is horrible. We went there Saturday night near about 8pm we are only two people I just request table on side they told me we didn't give me table they told me all table are reserved Even I was called before 1 hour going there for reserved table but there lady told me you can come straight way but when we went there they told me they don't have table. There is not a value of two people. Very nonsense staff they don't have sense how deal with customer.

Worst experience. There was a hair in food. When I ask the owner about it he got upset and said he is not working in kitchen. I suffered food poisoning. Update - I have already reported that day in afternoon to the owner and as I said he got so rude and didn’t listen to me, so I have reported this to the relevant authorities.

Delicious freshly cooked nan and chicken tikka wrap with crunchy mixed salad served with yogurt and a chilli dip that begs you eat more. Superb 5*

Absolutely delicious! Food is great perfectly prepared, flavourful and tasty Panjabi food! Service is very good, very friendly and attentive staff. Ambience is nice with nice tables and great setting, lighting. The food was made to order so can take time to come as its made fresh. Great Vegetarian options as well as my wife is vegetarian and said the dishes were amazing. Book in advance for weekend or it's is better to arrive early for walk-in. Will definitely be going back well worth the money.

We were a family of 6. We waited 1:15 hour for starters. We watched others get served even though they came in later. We lost our appetite by the time.main course came. The staff were courteous. But taking order to food landing on table is really slow slow process . Busy day or not, this much waiting is unacceptable. Sorry, but thumbs down.

Omg. Beautiful resturant, so clean and fresh. Food was absolutley divine, freshley made with no oil floating around. Staff are so friendly and recommend dishes based on your spice level etc. You will not regret dining at this resturant, even my kids loved the food so much.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Our first visit yesterday wasn’t good at all. We booked a table of 16 people for a birthday celebration. Firstly we were given round tables joint together which meant some of us had our backs towards each other. We then advised the staff we weren’t happy with this so they gave us an option to change to a 12 seat table which we agreed as we had no other option. (Why take a booking if you can’t accommodate it) Secondly most of our starter meat dishes were not cooked properly. Which put us off to ordering any meat dishes for our mains. Also atmosphere was not for us.

First thing first the service was awful. The food took 1 whole hour to arrive and when it did the food wasn’t as good as boosted about. Then the owner came to confront us about why we gave 1 star and we explained and they got rude for us giving them a one star. Seems like they don’t know how to run a business. Do not recommend.

It took over 50 mins for our food to get to our table. Poor service, as they served food nearly an 1HR late and told us there was a “technical difficulty” when they could have told us that 20 -30 mins prior the food being served so we can understand their complication. Then, when I decided to post a review in regards to delay of serving, their staff came to my table along with their manager or back staff to lecture me in regards to why I posted a 1 star review and tried backing up the fact why they served the food late. It was frankly embarrassing and rude as they decided to do this infront of other customers and staff. As they confronted me rudely in regard to the problem, I will STILL leave a 1 star review. Plus, we asked their staff to come to our table 1-2 times and we felt ignored as they had free staff there and were serving other clients or doing something else.

was just driving past thought i would give it a go complimemtary poppodums were given which were slightly stale ordered paneer pakora, lamb chops, ,daal makahani and vegetable rice along with a prantha the paneer seemed a little stale lamb chops were under done however although we were the only customers in this restaurant to redo the chops couldnt get the atrention of the staff i had to get up to find someone . all the food was reasonably priced i will go back on a busy night to see how it was in the near future but wouldnt have the pakora again

Hi , I had dinner on 24th July on 8:00pm.We have very bad experience here. Basically I booked this restaurant for enjoying outing and eating delicious food with my family. We went there 8:00pm there and got starter at 9:15 pm which was not proper cooked we called to manager and requested him it is not proper cooked he said everything is fine means he didn't ready to listen us .Thereafter we had wait there till 10:45 for mains but we didn't get anything there for eating .Thereafter we leave the table . Moreover this was not only happened with us but also there are 3 more tables who left the restaurant at the same time.So this is very bad experience which I had shared ,so guys if you don't want to feel guilty in front of your family members and friends then please never ever go in this restaurant. Better to make home made food at your home and enjoy it instead to go there and waste your time Thank you

Went for a dinner here where we didn’t have the best experience with the food - that’s not usually a problem as food can be to taste. However the jeera chicken was clearly raw and instead of apologising for this when we very politely mentioned this to the woman (I presume owner or manager) at first it was ignored, then when we reiterated it, we were instead gaslit into being told that the specific type of chicken they use does show as pink even when fully cooked?? - what a joke! Additionally, we maintained a very polite manner of speaking throughout, yet the woman felt the need to meet this with constant interruptions and raising her voice herself such that other diners attention was attracted. Another member of my party has already left a review to which the restaurants response contained more gaslighting and concluded with “they deserve a level of respect from customers too” when in fact we were the ones disrespected without any instigation. They also believe they “can say or do nothing to turn this situation around”. A simple apology and tone of basic human respect would have sufficed but people who run a hospitality business with ego at the forefront will clearly never be capable of such basic things. UPDATE - following the restaurant response to my initial review: I have ZERO desire to waste my time AGAIN by coming to your restaurant to discuss the issues - the correct forum to resolve these issues was Precisely in the moment I originally raised them. If you were incapable of providing any basic compassion or even a simple Sorry when I was there, and have again failed to do so after my original review, what makes you think I’d waste my time to come back and experience more of your defensiveness and inhospitality? I have written this review simply to manage future customer’s expectations that their experience may potentially end as unsatisfactory as mine did - however for the sake of future customers I sincerely hope you do better.

We ordered 2 starters, veg manchurian and jeera chicken. The veg manchurian had way too much vinegar, and at first they took it back and fixed it. The jeera chicken hardly had any taste of jeera in it and was pink and undercooked! Then one of the managers came over and at first asked us what we felt the issues were with the food and after we showed her the chicken was pink and not cooked she told us it was thigh meat which still looks pink even when cooked. The managers attitude was very defensive and bad when talking to customers, we didn't even get an apology and instead were made to feel like we were the problem. She didn't even lower her voice when talking to us, her voice was loud enough that people around us could hear our complaints to her which she kept defending. We tried to be as nice as possible in our complaint but instead kept getting defences and no ownership of responsibility by the manager. I don't remember the name of the manager but she was an older lady, I read some reviews after I left the restaurant and customers have complained about staff experience in the past and clearly they haven't learnt their lesson about how to treat customers!

Food was nice but service was abit slow. Many things were not available and they tried 5o charge me for it. Check your bill before paying.
