Good, spicey and authentic food. Was very surprised, the spice was spot on! Very good options for vegeterians.

Food was nice n tasty with average prices, but two of us felt tummy ache dont know why. I think they can improve with the size of their naans. I vsitef thete again after three years I found them improved. Bela looked after us. The cuttlery, kitchen, and bathroom wa nice and clean. Weldone.

Not amazing because was waiting for waiter come little late and only two staffs and food was OK still waiting too. I ask bill receipts still waiting so I given up stand go ask pay receipts. They need more improve right time and not make waiting.

We went there to celebrate our lunar new year last week with a group of friends. Food: 5 star, will recommend any lamb dishes. Lamb cutlets and mixed grills are excellent dishes. Seafood is pricey for what you'll pay with just 3 King prawns. Best Punjabi restaurant we've been so far. Atmosphere: 5 star, as we had a great time together with our friends. Service: 3 star, poor. The restaurant has only 3 servers serving the whole place and it was almost fully packed came 8pm. Our poor server was serving almost half the restaurant while the other two did the other half. We have to try a few times to catch her attention whenever we require anything like drinks refill, cutlery refill, more serviettes. There were some staff at the counter but they didn't help her out. The serving staff also needs some training on how to bring the replacement cutlery, serviettes or plates to the dining table and not just plonk them on one side of the table and expect the customers/diners to distribute them out themselves. Even though it's a busy night, still there needs to have a serving etiquette. Afterall, the customers are paying the 10% service charge (which was added on automatically) on top of the bill.

Outstanding Indian Cuisine and Exceptional Service! Our group had an amazing dining experience at GT Road. The food was absolutely delicious—authentic flavors, perfectly balanced spices, and beautifully presented dishes. Every bite was a delight! A special shoutout to Bharti and Harvindeer whose service was exceptional. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. A fantastic dining experience at [gt road ]! The [every dish ] was cooked to perfection with incredible flavor combinations, and the presentation was stunning. Our server, [harwinder], was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and we'll definitely be back for another delicious meal.".

We order noodles chilli paneer and veg manchurian from this restaurant but the smell and the taste from the noodles is very bad very bad and they even charge for that noodles. I never visit again to this restaurant and recommend to any one

“Extremely disappointed with our experience at GT Road. The food was terrible—overcooked, poorly prepared, and the noodles had a horrible smell, like dead fish. When we complained, they made excuses, saying it was from the soy sauce. On top of that, the place is overpriced, and they charge an unnecessary service fee. We went there to celebrate a birthday, but the awful food completely ruined our evening. We couldn’t even enjoy the main course—just paid and left. Total waste of money. Would not recommend!”

Don't go there if you don't want to insult yourself because of their bad behavior by staff

Been there for my friend's party and i was shocked to see such kinda behaviour of staff very irresponsible and ignoring. Plus the food wasn't what we expected from them but that aside owner charged over for the kids as well who were 4 to 8 years old they charged for them like fully grown person. Seriously saying this was the first time ever i feel that bad in any restaurant. Owner need to upgrade the staff and their manners as well.

too late service and too bad staff to serve. they die to even bring a bottle of water to the table. such ignorence can’t be ignored by people who are looking forward to have a good bite at some good place but what we can say if the owner theirself can’t observe these things. it was really sad to be their. won’t be going ever again

This review is a summary of my experience from the multiple times I had got food from there, every time I’ve ordered food from here, my food has always been found with hair in it! And not much has been done about it even when reported, also the initial service I’ve received when going to order has always been rude and dismissive! The owner/ middle aged lady that owns it is so rude and obnoxious! Never will I go to spend money in this rubbish place again!

Although the delivery areived on time, but it was incomplete. Only one of two ordered items received. Called the restaurant complaining about Qty, to which I was advised to call JustEat. I tried calling JustEat contact, but to no joy. The call never got through, and now I have no idea on how to get my money reinbursed for the missing item. Not a great service on first day of 2025.

We visited yesterday. The service was good. Food was average, the portion sizes were ridiculous compared to other punjabi restaurants. Food is definitely overpriced for the portion sizes.

Don't bother, we went to this restaurant on the 20th of December, the waitress service was awful, the waitress insisted we to had to have the mains with the starters and have it on the table at the same time,the waitress looked about 14 years old ,and everytime we mentioned cocktails she just made a funny face, she also didn't take half the table order, so some members were already eating thier mains, whilst we waited for our starter order to be taken by another waitress. The manager said we had the best waitress (LOL) We definately won't be going back to this restaurant, service level is a big fat 0, food is Average. Our evening was ruined and very stressful.

Not worth it very bad food is overcooked (starter). I told us stuff the food was overcooked she replied to me what should I do? after I reviewed the restaurant, the restaurant owner and other lady came to me and want to disagree about my review how disgusting is this. The old man who was the owner was nearly close to attack me. His excuse was the restaurant was very full that’s why .I can only say if you can’t accept people review, don’t open a restaurant like that and also Change your attitude. BTW I PAY IN FULL 190£ not worth it to argue with this people.

Found parking very difficult even during the middle of the week. Ambiance okaish. Food OK but slightly expensive relative to around the area.

As fussy vegetarians, we avoid eating out unless we really have to as we are ever so sceptical about the quality and the taste of food. But this place is an exception. Every time we visit, we seem to forget how good their food is! If you like proper hot Indian food and you ask them to make it extra hot, unlike other restaurants, they won't shy away from adding the extra heat/ chillies. Their Dals, specially Dhaba Dal and Dal Makhni and not to mention their Rotis/ Nans and Parathas taste as if they are from a proper Dhaba from Haryana/ Punjab. The staff is super courteous and so is the owner, Bella, who served us herself and ensured that we had a lovely time.

Superb real Punjab food. Amazing Dal and Roti. Great choice for vegetarians.

We visited for my daughter 10th birthday, experience was not really great. To start with I booked in for 22-25 people @7.30pm arrangement was only done for 20, my guest was not even arrived, owner start counting my guest and came across rude , “my restaurant is busy I can’t accommodate more guest, ur only 20 how many more to come, we understood and comprised and asked for extra chairs. Service was extremely poor, I had to look for server to take our order, while night myself and my kids and family members were going on the counter to place order or getting extra glasses etc….. On top I had a vegetarian guest, his food was replaced with chicken absolutely disgusting We wanted to cut our cake after starters, server was keep on saying it’s busy, all our customers cut cake after main course, why don’t you guys do the same Well it our decision what we want to do , thanks but don’t need ur advice. In the end we got charged 44.00£ as service charge and over charges on few items, I spot extra charges of vodka and soda on the spot and few items Mrs spotted when she checked the bill. It was so much of shamble. Last year had similar situation and I got food poisoning. We had to send kebabs back to cook them again. If ur charging £40+ service charge than pls deliver service and if you can’t take big tables than pls don’t take it. Guys PIND PUNJABI is much better in terms of food and services

Absolutely an amazing food experience 👍🏽👍🏽 We loved everything we ordered from Lamb chops to Sheesh Kebabs to Gol Gappas to Aloo Tikki chat for starters as we were in a mix group of friends with preference of Veg and Non Veg food. For the mains we ordered Methi chicken and Chicken Handi, Bhindi masala and Dal Tadka , every thing was absolutely delicious. We also received complimentary 🍨 desserts. Finally they are on the path of improving their service which I felt was little disorganised. Thank you to the Chef and the Lady owner of the restaurant who made our experience extraordinary.

I went with my family and we ordered some food, which was not tasted good at all. Food was too much expensive. We ordered some drinks (mojito’s)which was ridiculous. Not recommend anyone to visit there.

The food was very overpriced as we ordered 6 virgin mojitos which was below average and we told them about that but they didn’t offer any other and no apologies. They charged us too much… Never gonna visit there again…

Excellent service and tasty food must visit once

Not as good as it was when first opened and one member of staff(lady with glasses very rude she now has brown short hair) does not know how to communicate with the public that pay for a service, not in a hurry to rush back and I could sse I'm not the only one as she was arguing with customers, sort it out. Once again went back and that lady was there again seriously why don't they sack her same problem again filthy behaviour.

The delivery driver was courteous and professional. He was very quick too! Quickest delivery I've had in ages!

The food was good no doubt but the staff is not over smart . She thinks she is good in making you fool like forcefully making you order more food . I did not order item and please be careful when you pay . They overcharged and don’t provide bill too . I love their food which is why I visited more than 5 times but that same thing happened with me and now I really fed up of all that staff and service.

Over-rated food average to all customers pleasr check your bill before paying !!! The wairress was all smiles when we requested the bill. Upon checking, we noticed they overcharged for 4 extra beers. At this point, we advised the waitress who was very adamant the bill was correct. However, they took for the 2 beers we had.

Hardly any meat or paneer in the curries and very watery Dal makhani. The lamb was dry and the fish curry was overpowered by a weird taste. Some of the curry sauces tasted nice and had good flavour, but not great value for money.

Great, tasty food. Batura are fluffy, prawns are meaty, Indo-Chinese dishes are exotic and tangy. White table cloths so smart setting, but also informal and friendly with Panjabi music videos playing at low volume on wall mounted TVs in the background. Kid friendly. Would be 5 stars if not for being quite expensive.

We had a family meal and at the end my bank card wouldn’t work and I was unable to pay for the meal. I said that I would leave my driving licence with them and I’ll be back first thing in the morning to clear. I had paid half the balance on a different card so only needed to get half of the bill the next day.. The man owner was extremely understanding and was ok with our request but his wife she was a different story shouting abuse and coursing a seen! I have never felt so embarrassed in my life! Being called scum. Why did I eat if I can’t pay. Our bill come to around £300.. The owner (man) was so kind and said just ignore her!! She’s has no communication skills. Also felt as if she was being a bit racist as she said you people are all the same! Extremely unprofessional! We will not be spending time at this restaurant ever again and I’d strongly advise no one to use them. The bill was cleared as I promised right away and I collected my driving licence the next day. Not even an apology was made she was still extremely rude when taking the payment. I was saying how sorry I was and it was so embarrassing. If u had been rude I’d expected them to be rude back but I wasn’t at all. Just never will go there ever again! She needs removing from there business! Also had lots of food not eaten and was asked for them to come home with us and we never received the food on leaving with all the commotion going on! Was half the food we orded!

Mar24- Sunday morning brunch. They do a lovely breakfast set menu (£6.95) of pronthe (stuffed chappati) yoghurt pickle and masala chai. Wide choice of flavours - radish, cauliflower, potato, fenugreek. Also chick peas and bhatoori but we didn't try that. Delicious. Leisurely meal for a Sunday. Service was relaxed and not pushy! Old school music. Perfect. Good value. Parking outside (likely get busy on other days) Would recommend.

I had a wonderful dining experience here last night! The food was incredible and the restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and had a great atmosphere. It was a busy night and the service was a bit slow at times, but the owner genuinely apologized for the wait at the end of the meal. I really appreciate them acknowledging it and their sincere apology shows they truly care about their customers' experience. I would highly recommend coming here! The food is top-notch, the atmosphere is inviting and the ownership clearly cares about customer satisfaction. I'll definitely be back for another delicious meal soon!

Food quality is not good. I had ordered Daal makhni and karahi paneer.

I visited here recently with a friend during the day around midday when there were no other customers. We were greeted by the owners wife who was very hospitable & sat us down. I visited the washroom at first & have to say their toilets are cleaner then some hotels so my expectations of the food were high. Having sat down I admired the beautiful contemporary decor and relaxed music in the background and ambience. The menu was very extensive and we chose Fish Pakoras to begin with which were absolutely tantalising to say the least & a generous portion. Alongside some yellow lentils, chicken curry & naan bread the food was better than expected in fact would put some London establishments to shame. Overall a great experience and cannot wait to bring the family along next time & try other items on the menu.

I really like how nice and spacious the interior looks. The place has a nice aura to it. It literally feels clean and positive. The lighting also gives a nice atmosphere. A place that I would take a whole family for a nice Indian dinner.

The dishes were subpar, lacking flavor and freshness. When I voiced my concerns to the owner, they brushed off my feedback with indifference, leaving me dissatisfied with the overall experience. I won't be returning.
