Grovelands Park Cafe in Enfield

Me and my daughter love this cafe especially the scones with the best cream ever the lady that works there is amazing .. such friendly atmosphere

After a lovely walk around the park we popped into the cafe for a drink. It has a wide range of snacks bit nothing looks really fresh. The decor is poor and it doubles up as a shop bit with random items. The cushions on the chairs were dirty and the whole place needs a good declutter and deep clean. Couldn't relax properly as everything was so grubby. Wouldn't return there.

What an absolute rip off paid 6£ for two coffees that tasted like dish water. Never visiting again. The woman there was making the prices up as she goes along.

Visited today with a new generation and sadly it's not the cafe I knew all those years ago. The terrace is unclean ,waste paper cigarette butts and the child's plastic houses need a good clean too..wates bins had not been emptied , so after we visited the toilets which smelt DISGUSTING we did not stay...there seem to be be no maintenance happening in this park the swings and roundabout could do with a good bit of lubrication , and making safe for the kids ....but that's Enfield Council for you ....

I paid £4 for a hot chocolate and a Diet Coke can from this old dark and dated cafe. That had no proper coffee machine. Hot chocolate was made with majority hot water and a small scoop of chocolate mixed in within 5 seconds and took total of about 8 seconds to make. When asked was it made with majority of water I was told no with milk as well also told it was a very good hot chocolate and people love it and try to copy it. It was disgusting. Tasted like hot water with a dash of cocoa powder. If you are to have a busy cafe in a posh area invest some money in the place and offer proper hot drinks instead of just robbing people and offering such a horrible drink. You have a prime Lucia toon do offer a prime service. No wonder people walk to the green to get their hot drinks which is what I do every weekend but I thought let’s give the cafe a go. Never again.
