Not to bad mushroom were laced with salt. But over all ok

Nice coffee but vegan all-day breakfast took ages and when it finally did arrive was a plate of grey, lukewarm, greasy food and cold beans (from a tin - not the promised home-cooked 'Tuscan beans'). Not offered cutlery or sauce. Very poor for £12.

Tranquil cafe bar in Corsham with smiling staff. Original menu with their twist on some tasty European, mediterranean & middle eastern flavours. Roomy place with high ceilings, the kind of place to enjoy a relaxed weekend breakfast or brunch. Good selection of drinks to enjoy with your food. Sweet potato fries were well cooked and delicious. Need to be more cleaner. Please wash tea cups and cutlery properly before giving to customers. About breakfast is 10 /10.

Lovely place to eat, we had full English breakfast & the vegan version.....so tasty, highly recommended. Wheelchair accessible with large disabled toilet, dog friendly too. Free parking for 2 hours in the car park, disabled bays available...all on one level.

Very nice environment, the breakfast was excellent, but the temperature in the room was low.

What a unique place... and what a burger 🍔!

Been meaning to send this for awhile. I can say Corine ( who appeared to be the manager) has zero people skills and the way she talked to members of staff was very unprofessional raising her voice and belitiling young membersof staff. To a point I wanted to comment but my wife talked me out of it. It made us feel very uncomfortable and we'll not be going back. This person should not be in any position of authority!

I haven't been to this particular grounded before. Walked in and everything was clean and the lighting is incredible with a chandelier! The chef was out helping in front while it wasnt too busy and gave a smile and a welcome when we walked in the building. Food was ordered and came out swifty and hot. I really enjoyed it here everyone friendly and upbeat. Amazing food and music. Definitely will be coming back when we come through!

Been here a few times now. Never disappoints. This is inside an old church so yes sound dose echo however its perfectly manageable and still able to hold conversation with my partner. On arrival the chef was out front helping out whilst the kitchen was quiet he sent a nice smile our way as we entered as a welcome in essentially. Staff were attentive to there duties and checked in on how the food was. They were happy and smiling so friendly atmosphere. Food was great as always. Can definitely recommend the epic breakfast that is server daily until 4pm. Keep up the good work team grounded corsham.

Really strange place - has the potential to be very nice but falls short. Sound echos very loudly so could hear everyone else's conversations. The scrambled egg on toast cost over £6 and was 4 halves of dry toast with a ball of unseasoned egg in the middle, butter had to be requested. The fish finger sandwich was advertised as 3 fingers, but only 2 were served. Iced coffees were served in single-use plastic cups, despite dining inside. Not a very relaxing place to eat.

There is no service to speak about. The lady at the counter refused to even suggest something for us. She was quite rude too. The food was subpar too. Not worth the money.

The dilapidated environment lets it down. Not shabby chic, but just shabby. A lot of chairs and sofas are dirty, torn, saggy and in need of replacement. The floor in the ladies loo has been unsafe for ages, taps are broken and one cubicle is always out of order. The place needs some money spent on it to bring it up to acceptable standards. The staff usually seem nice and the food and drinks are fine. Probably best go elsewhere if you don't like uptempo pop music playing while you have coffee. I personally don't mind, and appreciate they're probably trying to create an atmosphere where you can't overhear other people's conversations.

Fantastic breakfast, buzzing atmosphere. Staff were so helpful and attentive even though it was very busy, great place.

I went in for a coffee and cake on a Sunday. Service was really slow. Clearly not enough staff on. We went to sit on the sofas to find them covered in crumbs. Whole place was pretty grubby and tired. Cakes were dry and stale, obviously not put out fresh that day and must have been left from the day before. Not great considering they were £4 each!

Whilst the staff were friendly the food was below par (considering the price). Unfortunately the person serving knocked a full glass of water over me whilst placing the plate of food down on the table. Limited apology.

The lasagne portion sizes were microscopic. The pasta was cold and meagre. Disappointing.

Nice breakfast and drink here. Was a nice day and could have had option of sitting outside or inside in the unique old chapel. Relaxing and enjoyable visit. Took some clear pictures of the new menu.

Lovely venue with seating indoors (comfy sofas are a bonus!) and outside and staff were attentive and friendly. One star lost for disrepair of the toilets, with half the floor tiles missing which made it difficult to navigate, but it looks like they're in the process of repairing, so maybe by next time I can add that missing star!

Visited on a Sunday around 2pm - just passing through Corsham so thought we’d have a bit to eat as the menu looked good. The venue itself is interesting, but sadly that’s where the joy ended. We ordered food and tea at the bar (assuming we should do so since no table service seemed forthcoming). We waited over 10 minutes for our drinks - when they arrived, tea was spilt on the table with evident notice but no apology or attempt to clear up, there was no milk and my partner’s cup was dirty. When I asked for it to be changed, I watched as it was taken behind the counter, wiped out with a bit of blue roll and returned. The food came very shortly after the drinks and was actually very nice. Tables were left uncleared and people were waiting at the counter for some minutes, ignored. Sadly the staffing appears to be a problem - there was only one staff member serving and making drinks, while another appeared to be sitting chatting whilst watching her work. Not a great look. We won’t be back.

Me and my partner came in for lunch he had the big breakfast when it came out there was brown bread and he don't like that when he asked could it be changed for white he was told no as it's already done bacon was tough and couldn't put a knife threw it.

Popped in for a bit to eat. was not impressed by service or quality of food. The music was far too loud and the area where we sat had not been cleaned . Teacakes over priced and served with very basic jam. Shame as a lovely building. Sadly wont be returning.

A converted Chapel with high ceilings and good food. Service can be a bit slow but it depends on how busy the pace is, you order at the bar so you may have to queue.

Visited on Boxing day. Delighted to find it open after a long walk. We had a sausage sandwich and poached eggs on an English muffin, both delicious. First time here but will be back again very soon.

Grounded has become my favourite place to dine out and have coffee. Great food options, full of flavour, good prices, great staff.

Sadly, I must say, I had the worst fish and chips today. Fish was burnt on one side and not cooked very well in middle and the other side. Please cook food properly, at least. Wasted my £9.50....😓😓..sorry but very poor...

Didn't have food but if their food is anything like their hot chocolate and I'm up for some sometime soon

Disappointing. Some of the food was of moderate quality, while the food and drinks ordered did not fully materialise despite clear explanation of our desired choices.

My last review was last December, but wanted to re-review to say how much better it is than almost a year ago.. Had a lovely vegan breakfast there today and it is absolutely value for money, well cooked, tasty and hot. It was lovely and warm in there today (and has been on my last 2 visits) which is much more welcoming than the freezing cold state it was in last autumn/winter- hope it stays this way? The only slight negative- the lovely lady that works there on her own foh, really could do with a hand on occasions. Rememberance Sunday morning was bound to be busy.. there was at least 30 customers in there, She did an amazing job on her own but service, im sure, will suffer at times. Looking forward to my next brekkie visit. Visited yesterday (23rd December) potentially the worst experience coming in here. The place was absolutely freezing with no heating on at all. Having queried it, I was told it is too expensive to run. Really not welcoming at all. The poor girls that work there were freezing also. Your staff shouldn't be working in these conditions whilst doing their best. Coffee stone cold within a few minutes. Staff were shouted at by what I guess was the manager as well. How embarrassing. Such a shame because Fishponds and Keynsham are really nice cafés.

Really enjoyed my tea and cake for a qwick stop. Last time I was hear had amazing breakfast and lovely little visit from the manger dog cuite little Jack Russell. To my happiness the manger brought the dog back to me. Will be back again

this place was very unhygienic, it stank of nappies at the bar. the white hot chocolate was not worth the money! it tasted like hot baby milk, it also had yellow chunks at the bottom (yuck) the tables were not cleaned and extremely sticky !! the lady who served us had dirty fingernails

Doesn't matter what you ask for, you'll get what you're given. You'll wait an hour for food to come out, for it to be stone cold. Half the staff are rude and were reluctant to give a refund.

Poor poor, unsupported staff. This place always has potential but when you can't support your staff in doing their job, it's going to cause trouble. You have very supportive, local punters clearing tables to help out because they feel so bad for the only one member of bar staff on an increasingly busy afternoon. Shocking management. The punters and ourselves feel for the poor one bar staff. The chef, by appearances, seems unoccupied and could help help. But we don't know his workload and maybe they're trying to prove a point/hold their ground re. the poor support/management. Either way... shame on you Grounded for allowing your staff to operate in such dire circumstances.

Just went here with my husband and son, we ordered just drinks.As was told there was a wait for food 45-mins upto a hour. My husbands and sons drinks came, I ordered a smoothie. It didn't come, I went in and ask, was told the young lad is making it. We waited half hour still didn't turn up. So we left. Very bad and hardly any staff. Won't be going again.

Service okay but food took a while to time come out. Had an Epic breakfast but for the money I think it's overpriced. The sausage itself doesn't seem to of the highest quality. No condiments offered when food wad brought out.

Long wait for food. No apology. No chips - even though they were ordered. They came later. No apology. Had to get our own condiments. Epic Breakfast did not have black pudding or spicy sauce, as advertised on menu. Didn't clear the plates - stinking old food still there while some of us had a coffee. Didn't bother mentioning the breakfast issue as the place was clearly understaffed and the chips issue was more pressing. Haven't been to this place for about 7 years - it isn't good.

Nice location, good service, food and drinks

First coffee was so good I ordered a second, this was a mistake, milk was overheated and coffee had a skin. Food was good if somewhat overpriced.

Sat in grounded corsham for over 50 minutes waiting for a breakfast and people that have come in after us have been served to then be told the wait was another 30 minutes.. safe to say we got a refund and left.

Had to wait 35 minutes for food. Ladies toilets were dirty, no hand wash/soap and missing tiles on floor, trip hazard,also radiator was boiling hot. Will not be returning anytime soon

Very disappointing, place was grubby tables were not wiped down after use. Staff had no enthusiasm. I won't be visiting again.

Had a cuppaccino it was disgusting it was watery no froth as you expect not nice at all. Cakes were in the sunshine not very hygienic

Terrible employers don't give any breaks,it's a very small community in corsham, and they are hiring and firing at will, I think they won't last much longer as heating was off a month ago, it was freezing, cold coffee, no staff advertising every week for the same jobs over and over again, time to go and let someone professional take over

If you want to grab a quick lunch not the place to go waited a hour for our food it's freezing cold also the place no heating and is freezing cold sat with our coats on and the staff are ignorant and not helpful at all

Nice food and service was very friendly. Unfortunately the amenities let it down. Sticky tables and the toilets were awful. Loose floor tiles, dryer not working, toilet paper on floor, sink taps very loose, decor tired and doors dirty. Really put me off going there.

Came in for a quick lunch break on my own and really enjoyed it. Lovely spot and not too busy at lunchtime, friendly service and good soundtrack! Nice, chilled vibes and the shakshuka was lovely 👌

Really really nice burger I have to admit. I had the bacon and cheese burger and couldn't fault it really. Nice amount of fries to go with. Could have done with a coleslaw or something just to finish it all off but I have to admit, the cheese they used was spot on. Service were good, smiling... Yeah, if you're looking for somewhere quick and easy to eat, eat here!

Was surprised to pay £3.10 for a latte….much more expensive than coffee shops in Bath. I wouldn’t have minded if the coffee had been great but it was far from it. Disappointing.

Very bitter black coffee, forgot to send our lunch order to kitchen, when it arrived, it was wrong order. Not staff's error , something wrong with system.

Coffee was good, salted caramel brownie was tasty and the staff were polite and helpful.

Used to live in corsham and it was one of our favourite places to go for lunch or a coffee. We now live in Bath, and it it still one of our favourite places! The food is great quality and well priced, the staff are always friendly and inviting (Plus they make great coffee!) The atmosphere is fantastic as well, both on busy and quiet days. Only downside is on weekends it can be really popular and sometimes you have to wait a while for food. Not a problem if you can just relax and enjoy a drink. Would highly recommend over all!

Pretty naff drinks, nice what they've done with the place, renovated an old church.

Clean place with kind server but wrong order supplied! However server was on her own throughout and could have used some assistance!
