Just discovered a hidden gem in Moreton-in-Marsh! ☕️ Grouch Coffee completely stole my heart with their incredible homemade peanut butter flat jack and perfectly balanced cappuccino. The latte art was just the cherry on top! The warm welcome from the staff made me feel right at home. Their friendly banter and positive vibes created such a lovely atmosphere. This place is more than just a coffee shop. It's a community hub where dreams are made and connections are formed. Grouch Coffee, you've set the bar high! Wishing you all the best in the future."

Amazing naughty nibbles especially the peanut butter cups a la Kelly. Excellent customer service and love the catering for all allergies, fair trade and vegan ethics. Independent and knows her coffee beans. Beautiful coffee art and upholds its artisanal qualities with their merchandise. Bijou, quaint and unique like Kels. Nice to see a hands on owner practicing what she preaches and flavour profiled that are not mass manufactured a la Costa (coca cola owned) or Coffee 1 (caffe Nero owned). Authentic and honest. My dirty chai was to die for and my daughters smoothie and chocolate/peanut butter brownie went down very easily. It was very busy as the market was on and Cotswold holiday season in full swing.

Grouch coffee is a great little coffee shop that allows you to escape from reality with some of the best tasting coffee in UK, happy vibes, and life changing brownies! When I first tried the brownie the overcast clouds started to part and the bluest skies came out. It was so good, I tried the salted caramel brownie... Twice. Well worth the 30+ hour round trip from AU Sydney!

Tried to buy a latte £3.00. The owner put it in a the smallest take away cup ever. I ask why isn’t it a regular size cup she replied it’s 50p extra. So it would cost £3.50 for a regular latte take away. Most expensively priced coffee ever!!This place advertises one price on the board no mention of sizes. I presumed I was getting a regular latte for £3. That was not the case. It was £3.50 but the price was not displayed. Can get a coffee for £3 from Martha’s cafe and Otis belle both 100 yards away for £3 and that includes soya and oat milk. Groucho charge an extra 40p for non dairy milk absolute rip off! Recommend this place displaying the true cost for a regular and small please so customers know the truth price of your coffee

Tucked away just off the main road and near to the railway station lies a little gem which is my absolute favourite coffee stop off. Grouch Coffee isn’t just about the excellent coffee though - there’s cake, fresh juices, toasties, WiFi and a hugely warm welcome. I’m a bus driver and bad coffee is an occupational hazard. I like to support independent traders - they make their coffee with love and pride - unlike the big chains who are only interested in the bottom line. Grouch is all about real quality. The interior is simple, stylish with a lovely friendly laid back vibe. Service is personal and a lot of care and skill goes into everything served there. All the cakes and treats are homemade and are delicious. The peanut butter and chocolate flapjack is simply divine. Grouch is one of those magic little finds. Having stumbled across the former coffee van after a night shift, I was delighted to have found great coffee made with love. But, the magic of Grouch is more than that. It isn't just great balanced, smooth coffee, the best banana bread around or ninja bread eaten with a grin..... GROUCH IS Kelly. The person who even in sub zero temperature through winter and a pandemic, made the community smile. Her attention to detail and the small things has meant her business has grown into a now bustling coffee shop. You'll rarely find it without a queue. A queue of chattering people, wagging tails and a community she's supported, who now support her. Grouch isn't just a coffee shop, it's a hub for the community where you'll always see a grin behind the counter. Having seen Grouch Coffee a couple of years ago at Gloucester Carnival, I thought it would be great to get Kelly and her passion back into the city for a couple of our Christmas events. I can highly recommend Grouch Coffee for the quality coffee, the delicious gluten free, homemade brownies and most of all Kelly's amazing love and enthusiasm for her job. Always serving the best, even on a cold and drizzly December day.

I visited Crouch Coffee at Gloucester Green in Oxford on a Thursday and had their Latte, seriously the best latte I have ever had. Nice and creamy on top just how I like it. Will definitely be visiting every week 😊

Amazing coffee, amazing staff, amazing town with very nice people. I had a fantastic time there overall. However, reception is poor in Bishampton town and inside the shop or any buildings you might not be able to make any calls, send messages, or make online payments without network interruptions. I really hope the relevant authorities can improve mobile phone network reception in the area. Also if you plan on using a debit card at the village shop/post office to pay for coffee and other items, it might not work for some reason. It’s the single most painful experience I had to endure since I had to look for another post office to withdraw cash.

I love coming here and come most weeks. Lisa and Tony who run it are lovely and they have really nice food, very cheap surprisingly too. It’s got a nice ambience about the place especially when you sit outside with the wind chimes and the old antiques that surround you. There also some antiques/curiosity cabins next door and there’s a nice communal feel between them and the tea room. In short, visit here and come and enjoy the nice ambience 😌

Simply disappointed. No meet and greet at the door. We just stood in the entrance despite a staff member doing nothing. Disproportionate amount of time waiting for a menu. Asked to choose wine before we had even seen a menu. There were lots of changes to the menu which we were verbally told but to repeat this to all diners was time consuming. A simple menu reprint would have been better. The waitresses were polite but there was no happiness. When we asked one to explain what something was the answer came back as ‘a pastry thing’. There was a lack of dish knowledge by everyone except the main man. Who was running around taking orders and producing bills and basically doing the brunt of the work. The terrine starter and beetroot gravlax were bland. Main courses were good but the chocolate torte was more of a sponge cake with no robust/ deep taste. The wine we chose was good and reasonably priced. It was meant to be a special occasion but was an expensive lack lustre affair.
