Have visited this casino several times. It's located near the bay. They have several bandits, tables and automated roulette games. We have never had food here. Toilets are always clean and staff are always friendly. Worth a visit.

If you are a fan of NLTHE, this is a great place to spend a few hours in the hopes of winning a bit of cash. Tournament entries are £20 - £50 quid but that leads to nice prizes if you finish in the money.

This was our fourth visit and we (there were 3 of us) spent an OK 90 minutes in the casino this afternoon (Friday) but the service at the bar was dreadful. When we arrived there was no-one tending the bar but we could see that people sitting at tables did have drinks. Five minutes later I tracked the barmaid down - she chatting to one of her colleagues. An hour later, when I went to the cashiers, she was chatting to the cashier. When we all left 30 minutes after that, she was chatting to the woman at the front desk. I think the barmaid enjoyed a chat every time she went round collecting glasses. Think I'll bet online next time and avoid the wait for a drink.

We came from Brighton to Cardiff for New Years Eve and we are so glad we did !!Six years ago we visited this Casino and had a great time , so thought that we would pop back again and we were not disappointed .We paid only ten pounds admission which included free champagne at midnight and bacon rolls afterwards .The Casino was packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves , the band were great playing oldies but goodies, encouraging people to dance , the atmosphere was fantastic , we were given good quality party hats streamers and party poppers ,horns and ballons etc which put lots of us in the party mood .The staff were extremely friendly and seemed to be enjoying the moment too .We personally had a wonderful time , and enjoyed every minute Well Done Grosvenor !!

Not much atmosphere. Good for watching sport as the tv's are still in view at the tables. The bar was quite sticky/dirty. It's a good layout but fairly small. The staff were quite lifeless which was a shame.

Always been a fan of the restaurant in this casino. However, we now feel like that quality has dropped slightly, this includes waiting time for meals, quality of the meal and new menu.

Booked the casino experience and it was the best night out ever. We had a 3 course meal in the restaurant, not your usual pub grub! Then we had free gaming tuition. It was the first time at a casino so we didn't have a clue. Croupier was friendly and we had great laugh. Then had free gaming chip & free token for slot machines. As well as free drink. All part of the package. Staff friendly. Can't wait to go again!

The Grosvenor is located in the Bay area of Cardiff, close to a multitude if bars and restaurants. It is the usual layout inside and quite friendly. Poker tables are in a room at the back of the casino whilst there is a lounge area on the right as you walk in with a small stage for entertainment. The food is not bad at all, certainly the fast food menu which you can enjoy whilst in the lounge or in the poker room. There is also a small restaurant seating area although I don't know whether the food there us any different. It's not intimidating at all for first time visitors, and is certainly worth a visit to sample the lively atmosphere.

As a casino it's got everything you would expect and need. Unfortunetely management are very underhand and misleading. We booked as a group party and received an unexpected call from a member of staff called Jon promises all sorts inc free lesson and like for like free drink. We didn't ask or expect this and I was very surprised and grateful and told he group who were equally impressed. Jon even sent a confirmation text. I told Jon we would be there at 11.30pm. Anyhow, we arrived, and went to the bar. After showing the tx the manager Christian came and spoke to me and said there would be no free drink as it was after 11. He basically said we were lying when we said we informed them we would be there at 11.30 and was very rude and obnoxious. When shown the text he stated "it doesn't say a time in there". As stated the casino is fine just don't believe the management they will do anything to get you there! Terrible service!!

Enjoyed my time Here, Watched the World Cup game, had a spin on roulette, won £60 and lost it all again but all part of the experience haha! I'd reccomend the 50p board if ur only coming in with 30-40£ as I was! Have a good time and make sure you try the good (fab) and have a drink (cheap and strong)

we cant question them if they going to take peoples money away and rip them off . thats what the cosinos do but at least dont make it so obvious and on top . its just shocking when you play roulette sometimes you will see the ball just goes from spinning really fast to instant stop on a certain number . how is that even possible .when the players around the table see it they just laugh and walk away shaking their heads and probably thinking what the hell am i doing here in such a doddgy place

A very nice welcome on arrival the reception dealt with my membership details very professionally .as a new member I was offered a tour of the facilities on offer. The main floor is set out lovely plenty of room and well decorated.the restaurant has a wide choice on offer at very reasonable prices. There are plenty of slot machines to play with a few free to play ones.A great modern casino with a lot more than gambling to offer.

Hired out this venue for a business event. The staff were good, the buffet was both reasonable and tasty. And all guests enjoyed a free bet and drink. A modern and vibrant casino where one can enjoy the food as well as a flutter.

Never been to a Casino before and fancied a dabble.The Grosvenor Casino offer a number of party plans. As a group we plumped for the £15 option which got us a bar meal, a drink at the bar, 30mins tuition and a free £5 bet. My rump steak was cooked as requested and was very nice.The tuition was good, including personalised banter tailored to our group with us all put at ease.The casino itself offered Poker, roulette, blackjack and slots. The whole venue was spotless. The only downside for me was the dress code. Smart casual. So we all made an effort but there were people in there dressed well lets put it less than casual!!!If you visit good luck.

Visited here in December 2012, as a group of 12. We pre-booked a deal which was £15 each which included a £5 chip, drink from the bar, a meal at the bar, and gaming tuition. First of all a member of staff explained to us what was going to happen, the vouchers etc. We had the meal first, which was quite nice, no complaints from anyone in the group. Good selection of burgers, steak, fish and chips, chilli con carne, curry etc, We followed this with the gaming tuition, was shown how to play blackjack and roulette - which are very simple games, but was helpful to learn about the odds, minimum bets and a few other things which wouldn't have been obvious to a first time user like a few of us were. We were then given our £5 chip and let loose on our own.Staff in the casino were friendly, drinks were well priced, and there was a singer in there as well. Overall I would like to visit again, or another one in the chain. Not the sort of place I would go alone, but as a group it was a good night out.

This was the first casino I have ever been to and I had visions of Casino Royale with Daniel Craig. First of all, the casino is in a good location right next to the cinema and a number of restaurants so it’s not in any way a dodgy venue or bad place to be as some people might think. The staff are also friendly enough although quite robotic and limited in their interactions with customers, which I suppose is understandable. That isn’t really a criticism to be fair, just an observation. The venue itself is very nice inside, very roomy and bright with plenty of electronic roulette machines and several blackjack tables that I enjoyed playing on, with the chance of some friendly banter with people playing around you. There is also sky sports on several television screens and quite often a live musician, which is a good addition to the evening. Drinks are not particularly expensive; a pint of most things is about £3. I took £100 and was prepared to lose it, but I made a small profit which was cool. Warning: money here can disappear very quickly, so only take what you won’t miss if it goes. On the whole, a pleasant evening.
