My wife had visited this cafe in the harbour of a nearby town and recommended that we visit for breakfast. There is no denying the quality of the food or the friendly approach of the staff (despite constantly being referred to as "guys" which is a pet hate).

The Dancing Midge Cafe

19/11/2019: Great place, welcoming staff and amazing coffee and scones - particularly liked the wee glass jar of clotted cream it was cute
01/11/2019: Called in for lunch after reading other reviews. What a find! Husband had the Scottish breakfast, it looked amazing. I had homemade chilli con carne and our 6 year old had kids French toast with bacon & maple syrup which she devoured. The kids meals include a drink and either crisps or a biscuit for £3!!

The Brodick Bar & Brasserie

11/09/2019: We had our second night in Brodick meal here and we were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in the young staff were so friendly with big smiles and dressed very smartly.
12/11/2019: It was the quality of the food AND the real log fire in the bar, which makes this a must visit venue. Good selection of local ales and whiskies at the bar too. And, no blaring musak to contend with, just the humm of good conversations!!
