Ooohhhh my god avoid its disgusting awful bland food no taste at all we spend just over 30 all went in bin except chips the food was all prossessed meat n the chicken looked like colouring at been added look at pics

First time ordering from here, wish I’d read the reviews. Spare ribs are those little tiny pieces of ribs with gristle not long ribs you’d expect. House special fried rice, dry and tasteless. Curry sauce - tasteless. Chicken balls - you get the gist. And they missed a meal off the order. £40 down the drain. Avoid.

Food is as great as ever, I especially love the curry and the salt and pepper prawns. Portions are nice size for whole family. Thank you.

We ordered last night, food came on time but the prawn crackers were missing. The price was usual for a Chinese but times are hard and it was a special treat for us. We ordered a 8 inch pizza box, it didn't come as displayed and was very shaken up but it was delicious! The rest of the food was very bland to be honest. The curry had more mushrooms than chicken in it, the Cantonese was very bland and chicken didn't have any flavour, the ribs didn't taste good and my daughters fish fingers meal was overdone so she wouldn't eat it. I was hoping for a beautiful family treat but we are still looking for a decent decent Chinese in sunderland.

what has happened to this take away as myself and family have just had the worst meal ever from this takeaway, all you could taste on the fried rice was grease, although the house curry had pleanty of meat and fish in it you could not eat it as the cury sauce had a very salty taste spoiling any flavour and to top it all i live near this takeaway yet when i got it home it was just luke watm . I certainly wont be using this takeaway in the near future anymore as the service and the actual meals have hit rock bottom .

Ordered from here Saturday and I had crispy beef and boiled rice hubby had prawn curry it was ok but won’t hurry back

Ordered from here tonight, over an hour and no food delivered. Rang the shop, no answer and checked on line and the shop is closed. An absolute joke, used to like this place but won't be ordering again

Used the Grindon Dragon quite a few times, this time very disappointed. I had Curry Special, beef inedible, like shoe leather, two prawns, no pork, chicken not too bad, very little veggies. Curry sauce was very watery, no substance. Fried rice was ok. There are far too many takeaways in this area to chance another bad meal here. I will not be using the Grindon Dragon again.

Absolutely disgusting! The chips are absolutely vile!! If yous can’t cook then don’t get a job knowing you have to do exactly that?! Chips were BADLY overdone, very scabby greasy chips!! Well, 8 chips were fine but 8 out of one whole bag of chips?! Disgusting and I wouldn’t even feed this to a homeless person as I’m not a cruel person. I’m fuming!! Only went here as M regular takeaway place is currently shut.

I,m no keyboard warrior troll just a bloke who has spent the last 50 years eating out or ordering in and the house special chow mein was so terrible that it had my wife and i laughing like it was out of Fawlty Towers. A pot noodle had been fried up with some old, tiny bits of chicken and beef plus 4 halves of king prawn Bone dry and absurdly bad. It is the new No. 1 worst meal of all time. Toppermost of the Poppermost!

the sweet and sour sauce was what I can only describe as sludge and the cans of pop we ordered were put in the bag with hot food so they were warm, disappointed as it's usually nice

Nearly an hour and a half for a delivery of poorly cooked, cold food, and one of the dishes was the wrong thing. Not the first time they have taken this long to deliver, but food is usually nice enough for me to not mind too much. Time to look for a different Chinese methinks.

I waited an hour and 20mins for delivery and on New Year's Day I waited exactly 2 hours! When your paying £1.50 delivery charge and 50p charge on just eat I expect to receive the food at least warm,. In future I'm going to collect the food.

Don't want to bad mouth Grindon Dragon because their food is always excellent. Delivery time was over an hour late, 2nd time this has now happened to us. Spoke to lady at Grindon Dragon who was lovely and sorted the situation out.

Food was burnt and vile would not order anything. Soup was okay, but the chips, shredded chicken, and curry was all over cooked and the chicken took all the skin off the inside of my mouth

Another good meal from these people food hot and well cooked cant complain use these all the time faultless many thanks

The rice literally fell out in a block and was solid couldn't eat it and as for the chips they where soggy. So it's in the bin and it's bean on toast all round. :(

Really can't fault the food, but delivery has been quite late on a few times. It's New Years Day Evening and we've been waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes for it. Why not get more delivery drivers? Especially at the Xmas time. Absolutely shattered can't keep awake any longer!

Food arrived over 50 minutes late (however we made allowances due to it being busy with the holidays.) When order arrived there was a bag of. chips missing, called staff to make them aware and they apologised and offered a discount on next order. Overall, we have ordered from here a few into recently and despite the hick up, the food is amazing and the staff was fabulous aswell.

It all went in the bin straight away - just Eat agreed to refund but 'restaurant' wouldn't unless they could collect it (I offered to let them collect the bin bag) even though we told the driver we didn't want it and wanted a refund - he handed us the food and told us just to call the shop and they would refund us. Total petty behaviour from the shop staff, unless they were planning on re-heating and re-using the food for somebody else?? Disgraceful, avoid at all costs!

Soup was good. Chips were soggy, Fried rice was an awful shade of brown and tasted burnt. Noodles were so dry and the gravy was like tar. To top it off I had paid by card but when the delivery driver turned up he charged me again for delivery.
