Grillo's Peri-peri & Pizza in Ashford

We stayed at the Travel Lodge in the centre of Ashford, just to go to this place. Friendly staff brilliant food. 25 chicken wings, 2 pittas, salad,chips and a bottle of Pepsi for £19.99. Gone up £4 since last year,but hey everything is going up. No complaints with the medium peri peri on the wings, they were just on the line between hot and Ouch. We ❤️ them. Maybe the size has gone down a bit,but the flavour was super! We will return once more!

I seldom give a 5 star rating to anywhere, but this place really deserves it. It is a take-away that has some seats, but really it is a take-away. We had the Grillo's Wing platter at £15,99 for collection. We got 25 wings with a peri peri sauce, freshly cooked on the BBQ. They had a real BBQ taste, and we think that 25 was an underestimate as there were loads. It came with a pitta and a fresh salad of lettuce, tomato, onion and cucumber. I say fresh as it was - sometimes you get a limp bit of lettuce, but this was lovely. Oh and a bottle of 7 up to go with it. In a street where there are over 10 competitors, we can understand why they do well, the food was superb, and it was really good value. We will be going back.
