Grill on the Hill in Enfield

I've been here for business for a few days and I can honestly say this place is great. The coffee and food is excellent and the service is outstanding. I had the opportunity to see how the regulars interact and the team here know everyone's order by heart and greet everyone with a smile on their face.

Best cafe around they never disappoint. Nice atmosphere in there with some very good food.

The Grill on the Hill is a home-from-home type cafe where you can have a hearty breakfast amongst friendly people and chat or read the paper. Go there for lunch, and choose from a very tasty and diverse menu, something for everyone - even the fussiest eaters. All food cooked fresh, where you can see it, and it arrives at the table piping hot. I love taking my family here too, when they visit and the grandchildren say "can we go to The Grill on the Hill" - what better recommendation can there be?

First time in the cafe for breakfast and was impressed by the food and coffee would definitely recommend and will return again, 5 🌟.

Rohat was so so splendid and so friendly, and the table was greatly sanitized. He’s a great great guy, very nice!

I live off windmill hill and have tried many cafes for breakfast or lunch and cafe on the hill Is the best food ever in Enfield. Delicious breakfasts my favourite cooked breakfast or sausage sandwich is delicious thick wholemeal fresh bread. Their chicken sheesh is also the best. Prices are reasonable too

I travel from muswell hill to have their breakfast, I love that they do beef sausages as I do not eat pork. Very clean, well presented and nice atmosphere.

I visit this lovely cafe every day for my takeaway hot chocolate/mocha. It is a family run business where everyone is so lovely and the service is exemplary. The best coffee in Enfield, least expensive and such speedy service. It has even been know for personal delivery service when I have been busy chatting over the road! Go visit and you will not be disappointed 🙂

myself and husband have been going here for many years and its least weekly or even twice weekly. my sister started coming here and recommend it to us. the chefs know what we all eat, down to the last chip or onion ring. went on Thursday and got told no both sisters within 15 mins of each other! the owner said its not doing my blood pressure any good! myself and my sister love this banter and feel like being with friends than customers. big portion, cooked how we want it and nothing is too much trouble. other customers now are friends and yes the friendly banter continues with all of us.

Nice food and friendly service - very reasonable too - much prefer here to Papadelli in the Town. Only four star as the chips could have been cooked for longer otherwise it would have been a straight 5 stars. Lovely breakfast - thank you.

Just went in there and encountered a cheeky ILEGAL £0.50 surcharge to pay by card and buy a £3 coffee (more expensive than Starbucks) for the worst watered down coffee I’ve ever had. Stay away

I go there on regular basis. Very friendly and good food. reasonably priced. lovely coffee. Grilled chicken with salad always tasty with nice home made chilly sauce.

Early opening times make it a good time to get thier breakfast, which is filling.3 star coffee makes this an ideal place for a early full english.

This is a fantastic family run cafe who really care about their customers and go the extra mile for them... even doing home deliveries for those in need. Cannot praise them enough

The price is too high for a small amount, they are very tight for a £7 English breakfast you get only one piece of bacon in the plate ,one sausage. One egg, beans,and little bit of mushroom. More expensive than Heathrow airport. And the place not very clean.

This place is sort of OK but sometimes the attitude of the man cooking and sometimes serving is as if I am a bother to come in and offer money to buy food. The food or the service isn't all that good. It's acceptable. Coffee or tea may be served and some spilled and dried down the sides of the cup, sometimes served and some tea is spilled around the cup and the server wouldn't think to clean it, I have to use the 1 napkin give to wipe up the mess they made. It's an OK place to grab a quick sandwich, but for anything more, I'd go to the Olive Tree cafe round the corner.

Went into a cafe. Grill on the Hill. Ordered an omelette. It's not cooked. I tell the waitress who tells the cook. The conversation went like this... He says, that's the cheese. That's not cheese, I know the difference. He says oh you want it well done. And yanks the plate off the table. Then another man comes out and says you don't know what you want... What do you mean I don't know what I want? This is a cafe he says. What's your point I asked. What's your point he asks? It's not cooked! Well you need to say. I need to tell you that I want my omelette cooked? Yes he says. Ok I won't be back. Please don't come back we won't serve you!! I obviously can't rave about the food but guys didn't even try to make it right. The experience was atrocious. It was like something out of Kitchen Nightmares where the owner comes out to argue with you because you have no idea how your food is supposed to be. He said that I don't know what I want. I know that I want never to step foot in there again. I'd rather starve.

Genuinely friendly staff and owners. Really relaxed atmosphere and good value cafe. Food served quickly and with a smile. There is always a greeting on arrival and a goodbye on leaving to every customer. Can't recommend highly enough.

Use Grill on the Hill regularly as close to Office. Wonderful staff. Very welcoming and friendly. Tasty food and great coffees. Highly recommend!

I popped in for lunch on Thursday with a friend. He had a lasagne and a coffee, while I had a club sandwich and hot chocolate. The bill came to just over £14. I would have preferred a side salad with my sandwich rather than chips, but my meal was tasty and we had a good catch-up.

He visitado el Grill en la colina varias veces a lo largo de los años he estado en la ciudad. La comida es de estilo de café y bastante normal para el tipo de establecimiento tipo de cosas, pero creo que lo que lo distingue para mí es que el propietario y el personal son siempre muy amables y acogedores. Que han sido siempre muy auténtico y acogedor y estoy todavía no hemos estado allí cuando no han sido igual de acogedor, el miembro littlest de nuestro equipo. La comida siempre ha sido constante y su café tampoco está nada mal. Parece que usar una marca decente, que es muy a menudo una crítica en estos locutorios final. En un gran lugar para Enfield Chase estación de tren si estás corriendo temprano o no el tren!

Me pasó en a la hora del almuerzo y tenía un excelente desayuno inglés completo, con tostadas y café, por sólo £5,90 . Muy buena comida y un servicio agradable, cómodas sillas ... Me podría haber quedado toda la tarde si no hubiera tenido una reunión para ir!
