Greggs - Whitley Road in North Tyneside

I was at Greggs in Whitley Bay last month and found the bin over flowing with rubbish each time. The table area where you get your milk and sugar was sticky and messy! Also there wasn't always serviettes handy. The cafe area is closed at the moment but last month I saw customers cleaning their own tables! This is not right. We are still not over Covid yet so cleaning is very important. Just saying.

Just the same Greggs as usual. Fast efficient service with a smile. The usual choice of food . Be aware of the pigeons trying to get into shop.

My grandkids love this Greggs after a brisk stroll on the beach. They change from veggie slices to cheese and onion to steak. The location is perfect and the staff always helpful, including tasty recommendations!

My twin brother Stephen and I decided to visit Whitley Bay for an afternoon out ,after hitting a few pubs we decided to visit this Greggs along Whitley Road, a really good Greggs outlet. Your typical Greggs, neat and tidy, light and airy, a glass fronted serving bar showcases the goodies on offer, we were here on a Wednesday afternoon, we order 4 sausage rolls ( £3 for 4 sausage rolls) and we munched our delicious sausage rolls under the beautiful clock outside the Greggs outlet, in my opinion Greggs serve the tastiest sausage rolls in the United Kingdom, they're just so delicious, we really enjoyed our sausage rolls here,its easy to locate along Whitley Road, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, 6 30am till 6pm. Sunday, 7.30am till 5pm.
