Greggs - Blackett Street in Newcastle upon Tyne

I come here most mornings for coffee and breakfast. Staff are lovely, helpful and polite. Food is always nice and fresh. Drinks are hot and the place is always clean.

Before starting a pub crawl down Percy Street my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into this Greggs outlet for a quick munch to eat and what a lovely Greggs this is. Typical Greggs, neat and tidy interior, a glass fronted serving bar showcases the goodies on offer and there's great staff in here,very cheerful. We were here on a Monday afternoon, we ordered a steak bake each , service was quick and the steak bake was absolutely delicious ,so tasty, lovely pastry and a gorgeous filling, just what we needed to set us up for an hour or two. This Greggs outlet is easy to locate along Blackett Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, 6.30am till 7.30pm. Sunday, 8am till 7pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
