Greggs in Newcastle upon Tyne

The staff in haymarket (Newcastle ) are amazing! I see then every day, they don’t know my name but they know my order! Dom (sorry I shorten everyone’s names) is the actual highlight of my day! I went in when I was off work due to our banter (to explain I’ve used greggs for years, Northumberland street was my go to as I pass it every day (Alison left broke my heart she is amazing an at kinky park / when this shop was getting a refit - using the lift in primark was a chore so I go to haymarket - now go out of my way to go here, the staff are all amazing (yes I may have a favourite) in this industry when you have a person that recognises you knows your order and almost has it ready on the counter (dom one day I’ll order something different! lol) this is customer service He’s the biggest brightest being every morning - I’ll not lie if he’s off and the shops quiet I’m a bit sad! No fault of anyone! But he’s amazing, he talks to everyone, he is so respectful, he goes out of his way

My friend and I had an issuewith2 pasties., we were on our way home., so I called in next day.. I’d said we had not 100% products…. Supervisors came to my rescue….. I got my lunch free. Very very good service

A must visit when in the northeast. Stottie with everything 😋. Thanks to the girls @Gosforth branch for my dozen packs. Please Please bring Stotties to Aberdeenshire. The best bread for a bacon bap ever.

Greggs son panaderos maravillosos. Soy un Geordie pero vivo en el sur y Greggs aquí no proporciona esos deliciosos pasteles de carne picada y cebolla y pasteles de stottie, así que cada vez que visito mi casa les ordeno que traigan de vuelta. tan delicioso y delicioso. Staff excellent, produce excellent. Pies and sandwichss to die for. Highly recommended. Wish we had one nearer hone.

They cant even get a breakfast sandwich order right, it was only one sandwich. it really cant be that difficult can it?

This Greggs is brilliant. It’s absolutely humongous. Amazing chocolate muffins. Really good for a snack. The food is sold out very quickly so you must go there early.

We just popped in for a quick bite. Asked for two ham and cheese baguettes to be warmed up. They were quite nice. Made us laugh when we saw they reversed the sign for Fenwick's window. Good touch Greggs!

Called here on Friday for some tomato soup which is delicious proper comfort food and cheap as chips bought a bread bun to dip in mmmm staff were very helpful and friendly

Nice pies and cornish pasties at a very reasonable price in the town very easy access and central to the shopping centre

After drinking my own weight watching the league i neede bacon and Greggs provided it! Keep your croissant and coffee. I’ll take mine sans sauce!

Visited for lunch and got a baguette + bottle of lucozade for 3 quid - good value as the baguette was 2.90 on its own if you were eating in. Quick service, lovely fresh and super tasty baguette. Small seating area too.

Greggs is one of my must go to places when visiting from the USA. The cheese and onion pasties are delicious. Made on the premises all the pastry is light and fluffy. A quick treat for hungry shoppers!

Greggs are church in the North East and although I think they've gone down in quality over the years they still hold a special place in all our hearts. Have a pasty. It's Greggs

Howay man, Greggs maybe nationwide these days but you won't find a stottie or ham n peas pud sarnie unless you're on Tyneside pet.

Staff seem very friendly well trained and give fast service. Place seems well kept and clean. Cannot fault the price £3 meal deals. Quick, easy and cheap. Great for on the go.
