Greggs in Elmbridge

This has been mygo to M25 coffee stopsince it opened, but quality of thecoffee has dropped alarmingly of late. Profit trumps quality?

Does what is says on Greggs food tin, It serves it purpose at Cobham Services on the M25. It is the usual menu so you know what you will get, All round there is nothing special or bad to say about it

I have been stopping at these services 2/3 times a week, in the mornings, over the last 10 months, due to my job. I have noticed a decline in the service at Greggs, the staff have changed and the service is slow, always long queues, it takes 15 to 20 mins to get a bit of food and coffee. Without doubt the number of staff serving (2) is not enough. Earlier this week whilst in the queue I said to a staff member can you not serve someone rather than just stand their waiting for food to heat, the reply was - I can go elsewhere, if I had been swearing or rude fair enough. I won't be visiting again.

Politely asked to heat up pizza slice and heard: "No, you can't". How rude you can be behind the till? Second and last visit. Had some delicious food at Leon's at Cobham. There must be a reason why it's always less busy at Greggs. Find a good staff first.

Why do you have to repeat your order 3 or 4 times to the counter staff and they still get it wrong!! Some of the staff are quite polite but one or two of the others almost throw your purchases across the counter top, I've been coming here for the last few years and have always been served by polite and friendly staff but seems to have gone down hill of late something that seems to be lacking in one or two of the newer staff, manners don't cost anything so try using them.

They have good selection of sandwiches and loved their pastries especially the beef stake. The prices were reasonable. Expectedly there was a queue due to social distancing. Good to see also that they had alcohol station. Staff were also nice.

we bought a vegan steak bake today which was cold and undercooked, when i complained and asked for it to be heated up the female assistant was very rude and shouted at me, eventually she replaced it but she was very rude and made me feel embarrasted

Yes do stop here and get one of these as they are very tasty - staff were friendly when I went and helpful - is the app as well which is helpful

My wife and I are big fans of Greggs' pasties and other products anyway, but their move to come up with an excellent vegan sausage roll was much appreciated by us - it really is very good!Had one at this branch, and loved it.Could have been a bit warmer, but since it was late at night, I wasn't about to complain, you can't have it piping hot that late.

Tried the steak and chicken slices, both £1.85. The chicken one wasn't very hot but both contained just adequate meat to accompany the pastry.

What happened to the best doughnut in the world? It’s now dry, lacks texture and feels more like a bun. There isn’t enough jam and the sugar is too fine. It feels like a poor cake.

Staff here were very good and professional in their manner, serving staff quickly and efficiently The prices are a little more expensive here than on the high street which is a pity but expected at services

Yes the staff were very good when I went here yesterday and served me quickly, efficiently and in a professional manner There was a queue of people waiting but sufficient people on the tills to ensure that this went down quickly

A tried and tested sausage roll from Gregg's is always a safe bet, not disappointed, very busy and slow service let this outlet down.

Grabbed a breakfast baguette on my way out of the hotel this morning, fresh hot and tasty with a latte was £3.80, cant go wrong

Decided on a couple of steak slices and a latte food was hot great taste latte coffee was good fairly clean as it was very busy staff on the go all the time.

Fancied a snack, but not a meal, so off I trotted to Greggs. Sausage roll bought with speed. It was tepid, not warm. The pastry was soggy. But I knew what I was getting - Greggs is Greggs.

Greggs certainly know how to give the correct and good customer service as they do at this outlet compared to some of the others here - friendly smile from staff that are happy, enthusiastic, professional and know their products - keep it up please

Yes Greggs have got it just right at Cobham Services as the staff have obviously bee trained very well and have great customer interaction and should be commended for this

We bought the obligatory sausage rolls that we have to buy on every Greggs visit with our two daughters. The service was quick, the food of the normal Greggs standard and the drinks reasonable. I have to say that this is in line with other Greggs stores and one of the few places that is not highly inflated because you happen to be travelling on a motorway. Worth a stop.

Poor. I regularly use Greggs and never have a problem. Here I had a Chicken and Bacon Toasted Sandwich. It was removed from the oven before it was ready so the bread was soggy and the cheese was not melted. They did not have the facility to cut sandwich in half either. The app did not acknowledge that two coffees were purchased here. Under staffed. Disappointing.

Enjoyed these jam doughnuts for years and to me, it was the "Best British Jam Doughnut" ever created. Taste, texture,course sugar, jam consistency and soft moist dough was a delight. Since the change of factory it has been the Death of a formidable Jam Doughnut. The dough is now dry like a bun, sugar is fine like powered and there is a small section of jam in the doughnut whereas before it was a good amount of jam in the middle.This is now the new Gregs jam doughnut which is unfortunately consistent nationwide.

Took a good while to be served today. 2 queues operating and still a 7 minute wait when I'm 2nd in a queue.

Picked up what I thought was a spicy wrap, but was a bland one. Someone had obviously picked up the wrap and replaced it in the wrong place. As there are no individual labels, it makes it hard to know if you are getting what you want.

Usual standards of hygiene. Good friendly service with no long waits. Nice coffee and sausage rolls.

This is a very busy branch of Greggs , but even though they are so busy this does not distract on their customer service which is extremely good and with such speed as well Recommended at this devices
