Greggs is Greggs - you know what you are getting. But the main reason for this 5 star review is to draw attention to the opening times, which the other independent businesses of Cowbridge & the immediate area could learn a lot from. The simple fact is that if you want an early or late coffee or want to pick up food on the way to or from work, then the only places that can ensure this are the usual chains, or the vending machine in Tesco. I appreciate that running an independent business is extremely challenging & risky, but there seems to be a general early-closing ethos that permeates the whole town, & those that are open late close for a window of time each day where I would have thought footfall may be high (end of work & school etc). Anyway, mine's a steak bake.

They do what they do very well It’s Greggs,not the best of foods and certainly not the worst. Staff are always pleasant and efficient.

Waited over 2 hours for the arrival of our meal. When it arrived, I was very disappointed, tough chicken, flavourless, mint sauce and condiments were poor quality, popadums were all broken. Will never order again, I will never recommend. Do not order if you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine.

50C Holton Road, Barry CF63 4HE WalesStunning food. The chicken tikka baguette was so good!! You could taste the freshness of the food! My colleague had a jacket potato with creamy cheese and that was absolutely lovely too and very well presented.Highly recommend this place!!

9 Cornerswell RdWe got a takeaway for a birthday and my hot and sour soup was sweet and not hot or sour. My Szechwan prawns was chicken and gloopy sauce and not hot at all. The rice was greesy also. Will not be ordering from here again. My mother I in laws chow mein had pork and it was tough.

1 Windsor Arcade2nd visit to Penarth and the windsor restaurant and tea rooms. Welcoming, friendly and food great. Pity I couldn't fit in dessert they looked lush.
