Just finished eating our greggs delivery, We ordered 2 sausage rolls, 2 vegan sausage rolls, chicken goujons, cheese and onion crisps, a ham and cheese sandwich, a doughnut, Lucozade and an orange juice, However this is not what we received, we received sports Lucozade, a vegan Mexican steak bake and 4 sausage rolls instead of 2 vegan sausage rolls and Lucozade. The food was ok, not great, the chicken was cold and the Vegan Bake was luke warm, i am quite frustrated because this is not the first time the order has been wrong, however the delivery guy was friendly, 2/10 experience

Always seems busy,when passing ,notice no queue, I get a custard slice always tasty and good value. Ordered two, then noticed the slice has reduced in size, on no, will have shop round to find something better

Commercial Street
To say we are disappointed is an understatement. We have been drinking in the Nelson inn most weekends with friends and our children. But since new owners have taken over it is very very clear that they do don’t want our business. Considering it is meant to be a ‘family’ pub, we are made to feel very unwelcome every time we go with our children. We are always out by 7:30pm and always clean up after ourselves. Very rude and such a shame as we will never be returning after spending a lot of money there over the last few years.

High streetWhat a lovely welcoming place. Came for a day date and this place was recommended. The owner was so lovely and accommodating and we had a lovely lunch. It was recommended the home made steak and ale pie so we had one of those and a home made beef cheese burger. We also had a starter of pate and toast and whitebait and it was lovely for me the pie and the burger were the stars of the show and they shined!! You can tell it was all home made and tasted so good and comforting. We will definitely visit again and I’ve continued to recommend since our visit.

Ilwyncelyn TerraceWhat a huge impact this little pub had on us! Cannot fault anything from the moment we entered! Staff are amazing and nothing was too much trouble accommodating us from fitting us in last minute to even giving us a lift home when taxis were unavailable! The food was amazing and our steaks cooked to exactly how we ordered! Never tasted steak like it! Hats off to you all! If we ever visit Wales again we will undoubtedly be paying you a visit again! Thankyou to all of you…it made our weekend! Keep up the good work!

39-41A Tredegar Street, Risca, Newport NP11 6BU WalesLovely little gem this place. Fabulous breakfast and so peaceful. The owner is so friendly. Very relaxing and Italian music was playing so it had that feel of being there. Definitely go back again. Highly recommended.
