The people were friendly. The food was delicious and plentiful.

Ordered big breakfast. No mushrooms, no black pudding - wasn’t made aware before ordering. Given they charge additional £1-1.50 for additional item, can’t help but feel short changed by £2-3.

My wife and I, called in as we were local and both had a cooked breakfast...coffee and a tea, cracking price for great food....totally recommend a visit

Food is nice here, but there are no public toilets (staff only). Bit crazy to sell you tea and coffee, but not offer a way to get rid of it.

Looks quite clinical from the outside, however a warm welcome was given, prompt service, plenty of seating. My sausage and egg roll was delicious and you could really taste the freshness of the egg. I asked for a strong mug of tea, the mug would have pleased the burliest of builders. While I was there it was a bustling hive of activity with family dining and a very busy take away service. All in all A*

Ordered breakfast delivery, didn't arrive. Called cafe, was told they couldn't help as the delivery drivers are not directly employed by them. I should have checked reviews begore ordering as it's noted there as also happened to others

Pretty disappointed given this place had such high reviews. The delivery was late, phone communication with the driver was hardgoing when he got lost (though he himself was nice when he finally found us) but the biggest let down was the food. We ordered standard fish and chips, one fishcake and drinks and although it looked nice at first glance and tasted OK, half of it was cold on arrival, most of the chips were rock solid and the portion size of the cod - wow! That one piece of fish cost 8 quid (making up almost half of the order total) and the whole thing literally (we tested) fit in the palm of my partners hand; I wouldn't have paid a fiver for a fish that size. Very disappointed and won't be returning again.

Paid £8.30 for two cheese and chips and it seemed that they gave me the scraps at the bottom. They did ask if I was okay to wait for chips and that was fine with me but then they seem to have looked at the chips that they had and said that's okay and that there's enough there. When they handed me the two boxes I wondered if there was anything in them. It's a shame as the chips were tasty but the portion size was pathetic. I understand price increases but if there's not enough chips then then don't try and scrape the barrel, especially when someone has just paid over the odds.

The cooked breakfasts are really nice here. Im only giving 3 stars because the last time I came here early it was closed. I even tried calling the number on the sign and there was no answer.

I had a uber and ordered a full breakfast, food arrived still hot, lovely little sturdy takeaway box, good food, egg was a little to well done for me but that's preference, I asked for toms but had beans instead.. but otherwise, really good and filling.. would defo order again 😁👍🏼

Popped in here as I was picking paint up from Screwfix. My self and my auntie had food and was lovely, cooked fresh so was hot and fresh. Will definitely go back again.

Excellent full breakfast with fresh free range eggs. Great value for money. Tea not strong enough for me but that's a minor thing and just down to my preference. Give it a try if you like good food cooked well.

Stumbled upon this fabulous chippy whist picking up stuff from screwfix as it was close to lunch it was ideally located just across the road. Great friendly service, food cooked to order and was excellent! Haven't tried the full menu yet but it will definitely go in the sat nav for future visits!

Chips cooked fresh while you wait large potions will go again

The pastry looked off and had a dark almost blackish tint to it but when I complained they didn't seem to care about the quality of the pie.

Nice place to eat and really nice staff

Nice little cafe with very friendly staff, however they do need to get a new coffee machine because the coffee is shocking. The coffee tastes like hot water that's been flavoured with cheap powdered milk.

We have ordered food from here for home delivery and thoroughly enjoyed it so decided to pop in and give their breakfast a try. Was absolutely not disappointed! The entire experience was spot on, food was great and the place was clean and tidy. The chairs are an unique design and the café is set up for eat in or takeaway. We will be visiting again soon.

I had breakfast with my daughter on a Saturday morning. Freshly cooked, pleasant, welcoming staff and great basic food. Went back for takeaway fish and chips and unlike so many it was not overly greasy and soggy, instead freshly and perfectly cooked fish and chips whilst I waited - and so glad I did as it makes all the difference! Would I recommend? Oh yes I would!!

My family and I stopped off for breakfast, it was all freshly cooked. The bacon was thick and delicious and my eggs cooked to perfection. The kitchen area looked spotless. The staff were very welcoming. They have now become a chip shop in the evening and I have to say they cook the best chips in the valley! stunning!

My son and I were looking for breakfast, so we headed back to Brunchies, which we have both visited many times. My 8 year old went for eggs on toast with a hash brown; I plumped for the regular breakfast, which consisted of one sausage, one rasher of bacon, mushrooms, two fried eggs and a slice of toast. It was great and we left very satisfied with the food and the great service.

This is another cafe situated on an industrial unit from where they presumably get most of their custom. There is plenty of car parking although it was quite full when we visited. I had the full breakfast and my wife had the medium. Both meals were freshly cooked and well presented The bacon was lovely, the black pudding was properly thick with none of the half slice nonsense you sometimes get in posher places and the mushrooms were done perfectly. From our table we could see the kitchen area which looked spotless. If I am in the area again this is where I shall go

I work close to Brunchies and never fancied anything there until recently - since then I have been in there everyday! Great staff and great prices - for £2.99 you get a ‘small breakfast’ (which is not very small) which includes a sausage, bacon, an egg, a hash brown and a healthy dollop of beans and a tea/coffee

I have been to Brunchies a handful of times, but only ate in until today. My wife and I went to Brunchies for a takeaway and it was fab. I had a Bacon Butty, which was great; my wife had a breakfast roll, which consisted of bacon, sausage, a fried egg and mushrooms. I had a cold drink, while my wife had a white coffee.

Walked into big smiles from the staff. Enjoyed an excellent full breakfast and mug of tea for under a fiver. The food was good, and the place has a welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely return and soon.
