Greggs in Liverpool

Very fast in and out this morning. Had the bacon and cheese wrap and a pink Jammie. They were both yummy. The wrap Would’ve been better heated

Great service and used for a morning tea when staying in hotel very nearby. Very clean with friendly staff. Nice outside area right opposite the Town Hall

Great place to go for a quick bite to eat for dinner. Staff were friendly and efficient and the food was hot and fresh and there was plenty to choose from. We visited around 1-2pm on a week day and it wasn’t very busy and we didn’t have to wait long to be served. Would definitely visit again!

I don't really get Greggs, yes they are affordable and almost everywhere but the food is often inedible and the coffee undrinkable. I had a tasteless tuna doughy baguette and a bitter coffee. It isn't good value if it's not enjoyable. This is no reflection on this outlet as my experience has been the same at a couple of other outlets, but this visit was the last straw.

My twin brother Stephen and I were hitting the bars along the superbly pedestrianised Castle Street and decided to drop into Greggs for a quick chomp.Staff in here are super friendly, we got two sausage rolls each which are absolutely amazing, so tasty and quite filling, in my opinion the best sausage rolls in Liverpool, perfect to soak up a beer or two till you get hungry again.A wonderful Greggs outlet, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and easy to locate along Castle Street.

Well, I just would like to mention that it is one of the few that are actually opened when you leave to go to the touristic attractions and that is a pretty good thing. The food itself is what you would expect from any other to-go type of café. The food isn't remarkable but I can't say it is bad. What made me happy were the wooden spoons and sustainable cups and straws that they offered. That made my day. Just right next to the multiple hotels, which is a must. Really good, overall. Nothing that special that makes me choose this café over another one.

The vegan sausage roll tastes AMAZING in not vegan myself and I honestly have to say I prefer the vegan sausage roll to the original one

Gregg's has an excellent range of pies, pasties, sausage rolls and cakes. In addition they offer sandwiches, hot and cold drinks. A good place to go for a quick snack or lunch.

We were shopping nearby and decided to take our favourite vegan sausage rolls home for our tea. Had them with chips and baked beans. Delish. Fab meal.

this goes for greggs in general. i went to a few and all where consistent in the product. a cheap and delicious snack or lunch best enjoyed outside. like new york pizza...can't be beat.

Rolls to travel home with after visiting Liverpool , this Greggs was right next door to the Tunes Hotel were we stayed so well placed as the hotel did not serve food

Wanted some decent food on the journey back home so had 2 Steak Slices very tasty with real bits of Steak in and a chicken bap. Allat a very good price.

Greggs is just perfect for a quick snack for breakfast. £2 for a bacon bap and a ground coffee!!! You can not go wrong. Well done to the staff on a busy day.

Well it’s a Greggs so what would you expect. The usual fare served warmish 8n a bag. Not the greatest food but there are those days when it’s hard to resist diving in for a pasty or a pie. It’s quick cheap and cheerful but hardly memorable

As a sales rep used to visiting several towns and cities in a week, I can say - without any possibility of doubt - that the service here is the slowest I have ever witnessed. Time and time again - when visiting the city by train - I have to pass this place and the queue (of mostly cursing workers!) is always about 60 yards long, with one person serving... it's the same at noon, at 3pm, you name it

Staff always friendly, food always provided quickly and hot. The only downside is the wait on a hot drink. Reasonably priced and food tasty. Best thing about greggs is the caramel custard doughnut!

If you like the grub Greggs serve, you will like this. Centrally placed in the business quarter, near the Town Hall. The staff are great, the sausage rolls are greasy and filling. What more can I say, it always seems busy.

Obviously all Greggs are fab but I must say this particular branch has to be the numero uno of the city of Liverpool (closely followed by the one in Kensington). I do understand that reviewing a Greggs store might seem strange but let me tell...

Vivimos aquí para el desayuno también está muy bien para un almuerzo rápido. Esto es más una parada rápida que una comida de lujo. Nos dieron el desayuno con bollos y gachas.

Fresh sandwiches, pastry, bakery products (both sweet and savoury), soups. The location is very basic but the choice is wide. Finally, it's one of the rare places were you can have a speedy lunch at table with a few pounds.

Well its a lower end retail food outlet and all Greggs are the same - arent they? The offer is very bog standard and this week tasted my first pie - More pastry than content but very cheap - I suppose thats Greggs! Can think of better places to visit frankly especially in this area. Fast and cheap - thats it.

My son fancied a slice of Pizza and said that Greggs made a good pepperoni, so on a quick visit to Liverpool 1, we stopped by.He loved his slice, we had a ham and egg roll, which was very tasty and a tea and coffee.Cafe tidy and neat.

We went into this Greggs to have lunch because we only wanted a light one. The sandwiches were lovely and the staff efficient.

All Greggs are the same, excellent. You can't fault them, yes some of the staff can't smile but most are great. Everything they sell is of great quality and the latte is fresh ground and beats most of the well known coffee shops. keep it up.

Went there today to buy something to eat.I bought a pepperoni pizza slice and a chicken baguette.I gave them 10£ note and they gave me back 5.20£.I realized that they charged me 4.80 £ as soon as I left the store and when I went back after 10 seconds the same lady there ( very rude) told me that I did not have a receipt ( which she never gave me ) so there wasn`t anything that she could do!Definitely never going back as their employees steal from their clients!!!

Called in for lunch but didn't fancy anything so we bought some cakes to take home. Two éclairs a custard tart and a Bavarian tart. Looking forward to having mine later with a cuppa.

They don't skimp on the bacon, which is freshly grilled. They also offer brown sauce, without paying extra, If you add a coffee it is good value. Always seems to be busy.

Can't beat a good greggs pastie when you're feeling a little delicate from the night before.Cheese and onion was served piping hot. Just out the oven in fact.Delicious crumbly pastry and a well seasoned substantial filling. Had me feeling right as rain in no time.

You are never far a gregge anywhere in Liverpool. Great for pasties, pies, sandwiches and take away meals. Everything cooked fresh. Call in for a coffee and bacon butty any morning, great value

Overall the Food is good however often what i want to buy is only in the Oven so have to wait for it to Cook

I popped in today on my lunch break and decided to treat myself to a pepperoni pizza slice. It was quite expensive for what it was. When I started to eat it outside, it was cold. This wasn't the temperature of food cooked and then 'kept warm', this was actually cold. I visited around 1pm so normally peak time for customers and efforts made for things to be perfect!

Seen Greggs on SKY 1 so when I visited Liverpool I had to give it a try :) Was happy with the food and would happily eat there again

Fiquei fan da pastelaria inglesa, e no Greggs e imperdivel, se vc estiver por aqui nao deixe de comer uma torta de galinha c crfeme de queijo, massa folhada crocante, quente e de quebra peca uma Ribena..ahhh..esquenta ate a alma. Delicia, vale comer e o preco e muito bom.

Pasties weren't piping hot but I prefer them that way! A good option for food on the run and it's unlikely that you'll be far from a Gregg's in any city in the UK!
