Greggs in Cardiff

Friendly staff / excellent customer service, clean. Had to wait a bit for a new batch of pasties, politely informed of approx time and served promptly once they where ready.

Horrendous service. We arrived at about 3pm on Wednesday the big guy behind the counter almost spat at us for not understanding how to order. As tourists we didn't understand we ordered at the hatch paid at the cash register. Zero hot baked goods available except sausage rolls. Terrible coffee.

Time after time we go to Greggs and the food is cold but not here. Such a nice change to have the food hot, how it’s supposed to be. Keep up the good work!

I use Greggs a lot for the extremely good value cups of tea but I rarely eat there, this could change as I had a cheese and pickle toastie and I can honestly say it was probably the best toastie I have ever had

I must say this place has the best cappuccino I have ever had! The steak bake also is to die for! Went twice a day just to get my fill of it. Nice and pleasant staff.

LLegar temprano a la mañana, y encontrar a Greggs, recién abierto, el olor al pan horneandose, y un humeante cafe, casi la mejor manera de comenzar tu día en Cardiff,desayunando un sandwich sencillo de bacon acompañado de un gran café!!!!! RECOMENDABLE

It's fast, cheap and served in a paper cup but it's a very good cup of tea and friendly staff exactly what you need for a break when shopping in a busy city centre

I stopped in for a quick breakfast and cheap too.I thought it was good.not busy early.The steak and cheese roll was good.They have other choices.I like the coffee.

No he estado en Greggs durante unos años, en una visita a Cardiff fui en la recomendación de mi hija que es estudiante uni. Compre un coco, envoltura de chili. Fue precioso, fresco y me pareció que había elegido una opción saludable.

What could go wrong with roll & coffee at this large bakery chain? Well, the roll with cheese was not much cheese and a lot of carbs. The watery coffee was just about passable. Service was perfunctory.

Gregg's breakfast roll and tea are excellent value for money and very good quality as well. The pies are nice too.

There are a lot of fancy restaurants along St Mary Street, but if you are just looking for a low cost option for lunch or a quick snack, this is probably your best option. It's a bit more expensive for dine in than for take away, but definitely worth it if you need to get out of the wind or the rain. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I love greggs, the £2 deal is brilliant. Cup of hot drink with a pastry or even a breakfast roll. The best.
