Greggs in East Riding of Yorkshire

A no nonsense Greggs. Can't fault it.

Queue was out of the door and only 1 person serving. I visited at 11.50am. Not a lot of pastry options ready but I got what I wanted

There should be doors that open and close after customers to stop pigeons from walking in. Pigeons walk in and are chased out by customers because the staff are not bothered, the pigeons end up flying round the shop before they leave. Today, one of the older staff members was pottering around the shop then proceeded to straighten all the pies on display with her bare hands, no hand washing or wearing gloves.

One female staff member lets down the rest. This afternoon(Tuesday 14 May) she was at her ignorant arrogant best. No concept of polite customer service. She knows I don't think much of her so she gave out a loud mocking laugh as I left.It's time her management sorted her out.Sorry Greggs . You have lost the custom of myself and my family.

Cold pasties. When I asked why the guy said its a cold counter. Disgusting.

Good coffe wonderfull staff really good atmosphere

They have some good staff and some less good staff. The one I got on a week day afternoon was not into efficient and polite customer service.

Standard greggs. Go in, order, get food and leave.

Nothing special, sausage rolls are consumed on the pavement with the associated litter blowing around.

Lovely little store very quick and polite

Small town centre store don't carry massive amounts due to the size but do have all the sweet treat favourites donuts cream donuts cream cakes etc as well as the morning favourite bacon sandwich or sausage sandwiches and of course the famous sausage rolls and veggie one's as well, well recommend you visit friendly staff will serve you all your favourites

Shelves fully stocked , strict covid measures in place. Very clean . Staff bubbly which is a refreshing change when wearing a mask

Love going to greggs for a quick snack. Got my son his 1st ever sausage roll and he keeps slapping his lips with enjoyment

Cheap and cheerful bacon butty and a hot chocolate breakfast.

Called into my local Greggs today and bought my favourite , a caramel &custard doughnut but guess what there was no custard in it . Feeling a bit let down

Decided to visit Goole on the Sunday after Christmas...it was v-e-r-y quiet! We found Greggs open and had cheese and ham toasties and coffee - a feast on a cold day!

Plenty of variety get your fill in there

Slow service, but good food and coffee.

Really nice staff who try to engage with the customers. Let down by the outside side seating where there are generally people smoking, so you have to walk through the smoke to get in and out.

Get our lunch from here most days. Do a good selection of sandwiches and pasties. Anne walker

Been calling here for a long time when in Goole which is very frequently. We always find the place so frustrating because they never have enough bake off goods ready for sale. If two different items are ordered it is almost never that they have both. Displays are almost always empty and the stock answer is ''they won't be ready for 15 minutes'' even Greggs staple sausage rolls are rarely available. The tables in the shop are frequently dirty and the floor littered with food debris. The two outside tables are even worse and can be fairly described as filthy. (See photo) visited today at 11.50. Ordered 2 sausage rolls after waiting in line only to be told ''we only have cold ones'' little else on offer so we left. Inside the shop was not very clean. Tables covered in crumbs and drink spillage. Floor needed cleaning. Outside area was disgusting. Tables covered in crumbs and a cigarette end. The floor full of discarded food and next to a table was a filthy litter bin complete with bird droppings. We passed the shop again well over an hour later when returning to the car and the same filthy state remained. Now this is not a one off, it is a regular occurrence. Time someone got a grip here. The standards are not good enough. I know it's not exactly fine dining but come on! Hygiene is not an optional extra it's essential.

What can you say....it's Greggs the food is varied with plenty of options you have to wait a little bit to be served, but the sausage rolls are always very good

Typical of nearly any Greggs - you can get the range of Food, Drinks and special offers but with really friendly Staff at this Branch I find that most Staff at Greggs branches are really motivated and proactive anyway but the Goole ones are superb

We were shopping in Goole and needed a coffee and this place was ideal as we were shopping in the square. There are only three tables inside and a couple outside so it' small but the cakes are lovely and good value and fresh - we had a cream slice - and the coffee good value. Pleasant service too. Recommended as a place for a quick pop in drink whilst in Goole.
