Greggs in Edinburgh, City of

Don't bother coming if there's more than 3 people in the shop. They are Ill equipped to handle and guaranteed to miss steps or items if you ask for anything other than a sausage roll. Greg's is still class though. No hate there.

I’m a regular customer at this store, and unfortunately, each time Cynthia (Manager) is on the till, my experience is unpleasant. She consistently behaves rudely, acting as if I’m inconveniencing her or even as though I'm getting items for free. There’s no politeness, no smile—just an attitude that is frankly unwelcoming. This has happened multiple times, and each time, it affects my entire day. Additionally, I’ve witnessed her speaking harshly to other staff members, even in front of customers. It’s uncomfortable and embarrassing to see her belittle them publicly. Early mornings should be a positive experience, yet my mood is frequently ruined by this behavior. The environment would greatly improve with a focus on courtesy and professionalism, especially from a manager.

I was mugged at this shop, beware of your belongings.

The drink was completely spilled in the bag and nothing left in the cup

I put the order at 10am, I've waited 3 hours and now it says has been delivered but it's not, never got my food and there's no way to contact the premise.

Wonderful food for a great price like all Greggs. This one gets busy though so good to get there early. Nowhere to sit so just takeaway.

Came here a few weeks ago and distinctively remember the bald guy that served me, he was ravishingly handsome similar to that of a Neanderthal, i just wish him to know that and if he wants he can call me x

The worst ever. Order placed at 7:30am. It was eventually delivered at 8:50am. The food was cold and the coffee spilled all over the bag. On top of that it wasn't even the right roll. No explanation or apology from either Greggs or Just Eat. Total trash.

2 hot sausage rolls. Why is it when you ask for hot sausage rolls you get cold ones and there not even Luke warm either. At boswall parkway Edinburgh.

just eat is terrible. They don't care about customers and it has now become a game of "will my food be delivered or will it be stolen or wrong delivery address". Sitting out of pocket and hungry. I will wait to see if I get a refund but whether I do or not this is the last time I will use this rip off, faceless company.

Everything was cold, the heat to eat baguette hadn't even been heated up, nor had the "warm" cookies!

Yeah yeah, you might not believe this but I bought myself just enough food for breakfast. Big mistake. I take a few bites, nothing too serious I take another and I see a red light beeping, I take the red light out and the food explodes all over me, I forgot to mention I have work in an hour. Everyone is looking at me with dirty looks while I am embarrassed, panicking trying to find a way to clean this in time for work. I ask the employees for help. Nothing they just tell me I should've checked my before eating. I storm out the shop, my day has been ruined

The lady who served me today(Joyce)had the best customer service I have ever experienced in Greggs ,not only is she super friendly and funny but she is also super helpful ! I would recommend this store

Showed up at 6:20 and there was no bakery items besides donuts? The lady said that Sausage Rolls alone wouldn’t be done until about 6:40. Why not open at 7 if the food won’t be ready until then?

One of the best places to grab nice coffee and quick meals or snacks in the city centre, this branch is only take away, located around the city centres and main interests.

Driver pulled up out side my house divided to sit in the car take a phone call before delivering my food very unprofessional

I placed an order today at 11:50 two hours later at 14:00 it said it had been delivered when it hadn’t so I reported that to JustEat. At 15:15 they called to say they were sending the order I said I wanted to cancel but they said that the driver had already picked it up and couldn’t do anything about that

Ordered at 8am and didn't receive the order until 930am. Everything was cold and nothing tasted fresh. Pretty disappointing.

We visited Greggs whilst away on holiday. I normally love Greggs and the food was fine. The tables were all dirty and the ladies toilet was awful.

Attirati dai prezzi bassi e dalle recensioni siamo entrati nel locale di Leith. Tea e Mocha pessimi, cibo mangiabile. La cosa peggiore è stata però il personale, maleducato e di cattivo umore. Meglio spendere qualche sterlina in più e andare altrove.

Absolutely awful experience, food was stale, after being late, and the driver was extremely rude, the restaurant is 2 minutes away however the driver drove to the other side of town before delivering to me

Best Greggs in town, food was well packaged and my sweet treats arrived with the glaze still on, they called to let me know one of the options were not available and didn't just send me something I don't like instead. The slices and pizza were all cooked just right. My new favourites Greggs for delivery :D

This was delivered almost an hour and a half after I ordered it this really isn't acceptable when im.at work and onmy get a break at 2pm thats why I ordered food in preparation very very disappointing

I visited Greggs in Dalkeith Edinburgh. On my way to Edinburgh. I ordered the scotch pie, a triple chocolate Doughnut and a cola which came too about £4.20. The cola was very good. Nice and chilled. In the bottle. The scotch pie was nice and warm and really tasty pie. The chocolate Doughnut was outstanding. Awesome chocolate at the top and the cream core in the middle. Overall 8/10 Overall great service, very quick and got exactly what I was after. 8/10 The food was outstanding and very yummy. 8/10 The value for money was very good too. 8/10 Could I recommend Greggs. Yes But at the time the food supply was low so next time would be good to see more options for next time. If the food options were full and the pie was a bit warmer then I would have gave a 10/10 Thanks you for reading. wildscot

Unfortunately, I won't be back. The bacon in the roll was burnt, tough and inedible. It was obviously the very last pieces which had been sitting for ages, since I ordered the food just before the breakfast food finished. There were no sachets of milk or sugar with the tea and the tea was all grainy with bits from the inside of the teabag swirling around in it. The toastie was luke warm and the delivery driver wasn't especially friendly. Waste of money.

Order arrived missing hot items. Told driver who was very dismissive and said nothing he could do. He then proceeded to stand outside eating the exact item that was missing….

It is just Greggs, but offers a cheap and cheerful bite to eat throughout the day. Early opening offered a breakfast opportunity before a long coach trip too.

If they don't have the item i have asked for they should contact customer ( me ) instead of choosing other items for me. Bad customer service !!!!

Ordered the usual. Arrived without the hot drink which was disappointing and I ordered two bottles of cola and only received one. A little disappointing but oh well... Had a refund for the missing items from Just-eat. Great customer service.

absolute joke of a place. no customers in bang on noon and I come in for my lunch on my lunch break. to be given two sausage rolls that were stone cold. I want fresh hot rolls not stuff that's been lying about since 8am this morning. you want a nice warm meal on your lunch if you work near or around the royal mile I suggest you go elsewhere. Gregs - when the bottle of irn bru pruchased out of the fridge is warmer than the "hot" roll you bought.
