Great coffee food cooked to order friendly laughs with customers and staff outside area at back plenty of seats inside and out

Visited on Monday morning for a fried breakfast. Both of us feeling fragile after spending Sunday at a wedding. Won’t ever have a Michelin star but the food was honest and freshly cooked. Tea for two in a China teapot with China cups and saucers; possibly past sell by date as cups a little stained. Our hostess was very welcoming and friendly. I would very happily treat my next hangover in Greens.

Popped in for a take away bacon barmcake, had to wait 25 minutes even though it wasn't very busy (4-5 other people in). First off the lady took the money up front which was cash only, then went to the warming cupboard, picked up bacon with her hands and arranged it on a plate for a sitting customer. Then needed to move her car, asked someone they knew sat down to watch things for 5 minutes. Came back, went straight into making scrambled egg, again no cleaning hands. Someone came up, paid for their meal, cash taken, no cleaning etc While I don't mind waiting if it's busy, it wasn't until I stood up and about to ask for my money back that she started making the bacon barm, which was just bacon picked out the warmer and placed on a slightly stale roll, 2 slaps of margarine and a squirt of tomato sauce. Took 20 seconds. Sadly this isn't an isolated incident and didn't get an apology or even an estimated time when I handed the cash over. Won't be returning again and recommend one of the many rivals on the road instead.

I went in today got to coffee one for me one for wife who was on her way One young male staff said ... Did you order two coffee ? i replied yes he said why theres only you here I looked at him and replied my partner is on her way he then walked away very rude it doesent matter if i order five coffee i paid training may be needed Wont visit again.

This cafe needs to be avoided, waited almost half an hour for two toasted teacakes, they burnt the 1st two, I went in and asked how much longer, she eventually brought them out, burnt and spread with margarine, not butter. I took mine back in and she tried to say it was butter. Like I cant tell the difference, my mother in law took hers home for the birds, we waited another ten mins for an apology and a refund, neither was forthcoming. Never again will I set foot in that place, and don't get me started on how bad the coffee was.

I used to visit for food and it used to be lovely a wide menu with home-made food, I have just waited ages for a "Tinned" portion of homemade soup! its horrible! Also no sorry for your wait nothing all they had to do was put the tinned soup in a cup! will never go back there!

The service here is non existent sat for 25 minutes then rudely advised won't be long will never visit again

Have eaten here many times for everything from a light breakfast through to a three course meal. Food always excellent with friendly staff. Good value for money

Very nice little cafe. The decor is all wood and leather. The staff are friendly (they even removed a wasp that flew in because I was allergic) and the food is very tasty. What more can you ask for? Very good value for money

We were awaiting for an order at our opticians this week and as we had 20 minutes wait decided to call next door but one to Greens cafe for a couple of coffees. On entering we walked up to the counter and requested our drinks. We were rather surprised as there were about 5 empty tables to be told rather abruptly that we could only order drinks accompanied by a meal !. If the place had been busy then we could have understood this, but it would have been no problem for them to have served us, especially since we would have had a couple of teacakes as well. We went across the road only to be served with lovely coffee by charming staff. Needless to say we will never visit Greens again !

On a lovely sunny Saturday 16th February to be precise. After a lovely stroll we decided to call in for light refreshments. There was plenty of places to sit. We decided on a table for two near the window. The time was not much more than 11am. We already had our breakfast , a nice brew and a cake came to mind.this is where things got interesting. A waitress came to our table to ask if we were ready to order. We enquired if they had scones, we quite like a scone with jam and clotted cream. The lady in question told us they had non that day. We then asked what cake selection they do have ? We was taken aback by the reply and I quote.." actually we are only serving main meals now" said in such an abrupt way. We was quite speechless with her attitude towards us. Having frequented many coffee shops,tea rooms, cafes and patisseries all over the world, we find it hard to be treated in such manner in our own town. I do believe that our order wasn't enough to justify taking up two seats in a half empty cafe.. We left and went in the lovely cafe three doors up.

If you want made on the premises cake soup roast dinner this is the place The coffee is great been coming here for years it's now run by Sharon with Debbie helping out there are other staff also you pick a table and your order will be taken your food will arrive shortly . There are daily specials tell them David recommend this place

Food is lovely here. However got a salad earlier - the server put this together using her hands which I don't have a problem with except the server at no point washed her hands prior to serving... have seen this same woman do this before after using a broom.... needs sorting....

We have been coming here for a couple of months now and it gets better and better. My 9 month old daughter is made welcome every time we come even though she makes a mess! The food is absolutely stunning- we are yet to have a mess than perfect meal and we have tried LOTS of the menu. The service is Amazing and even when it's busy we are made to feel valued and not kept waiting too long. I was looked after before My stag do and the morning of my wedding- thank you ladies for calming my nerves! Slimmers breakfast is fantastic. Keep up the brilliant work- the best place to eat in Blackpool.

Only evert had breakfasts from here but they are really nice and good value for money. Friendly staff

Okay, so a completely honest review - not all good/bad... We live the other side of town but came for another visit having visited a few months back, it was a lot better then than on our latest visit. Service was slow.... very slow took at least 20 mins to be served even though the place wasn't even busy and there appeared to be plenty of staff. Once served there was another long wait for our drinks to arrive then followed by the food. It's fairly well cooked and presented but the ingredients aren't the best quality from what we opted for so not much the staff can do about that. I guess it is what it is - a cheap cafe, but there are so many better alternatives for the same or just a little more money... and we don't particularly mind paying just a little extra to get that better quality of food/service. So not a bad place to go and prices are competitive just depends what you are looking for.

We love coming here for the ‘slimming world’ breakfast. Poached eggs, lean bacon and good coffee. Perfect start to the day. Often busy weekdays Great staff

I visited today with my elderly mum as it looked very nice when we passed it and thought we'd 'give it a try'. I have to say...we were impressed. The staff were friendly, it was lovely and warm and the food was great. We had the homemade soup, homemade shepherds pie, ham egg chips and peas and the homemade apple crumble with custard! It was all delicious. We will certainly be back.

The food here is ALL homemade, freshly prepared, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Yes I recommend Greens.

I visited this Saturday for coffee and cake with my family. We arrived near to closing but we had our food and drinks without feeling rushed, which was very nice of the staff. The scones were lovely! We will be back!

He estado aquí en varias ocasiones y siempre nos pareció que la comida era de muy buena relación calidad-precio y muy sabroso. Recientemente tuvimos el filete hamburguesa con ensalada especial, que era delicioso. El personal es muy amable y atento. Para notar Greens no parece hacer patatas fritas (no en el menú, y no he visto les servía). No estoy seguro de si esto es bueno o malo!

Así oredered hace unas semanas y no estaba impresionado con el Hot Pot que habíamos pedido. Llamó para explicar lo que estaba mal. Se disculparon y dijo que podría haber un £10 nota de crédito en nuestra próxima visita.

Four of us had lunch here, and all thought it was top cafe food and good value for money. The home-made soup was the highlight, as was the huge Club sandwich. Very clean and friendly cafe, highly recommend it.

Went in to buy a bacon balm , when I got home I needed a saw to cut through the bacon as it must have been in the oven for a day or two.

Called in for breakfast, never again, tough pre warmed bacon, spoonful of beans, not a big spoon either, lovely thick toast covered in cheap margarine. 4 breakfasts, 2 came out wrong, then they had the gall to keep us waiting to pay while all the staff just ignored us.

Me and my daughter go here regulary. And the foof is amazing and affordable to. Baby friendly and friendly staff ,😊

Pero de nuevo una visita perfecta a este pequeño y encantador café. Siempre fresca y deliciosa comida con un excelente servicio al cliente! Soy muy quisquilloso sobre comer fuera y siempre lugares estrellas higiene! Este café es muy limpio y bien cuidado, y puedes ver todo el personal sabe lo que están haciendo en términos de seguridad y salud! ¡volveremos!

Came here on a one off visit and wasn't disappointed! Great food,staff brilliant and great with the kids,will definitely return when in the area again!

This cafe is defiantly one of the best in Blackpool very fast and friendly service and defiantly the cheapest, I have been to other cafes down highfield road and this cafe is defiantly the cheapest, they have had 5* rating for hygiene as well which is always a bonus will definitely be coming back

Lovely food which was made fast, the cafe looked very clean and tidy and staff washed their hands a numerous amount of times whilst just dealing with my food, the prices are very cheap and the food was amazing I would defiantly recommend to anyone, also the cafe seems to of just been redecorated which looks fab

I have been a customer at Greens ,for years , I always feel very welcome , and whether I have a coffe or a meal, on my own or with friends the friendly service is always the same .

i am a regular customer and have been coming here for years,the standards have slipped terribly,i popped in last week and they were very short staffed.i waited over 20mins to be served,when i did finally recieve my food it was cold and of very poor standard,i wont be back thats for sure.

Came here for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! The coffee is perfect! Really friendly staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The cafe was nice and clean, definitely lives up to it's 5* hygiene rating! Will be back again! Thank you for a pleasant visit.

Been coming to greens for over a year now and I would not go anywhere else , the food is always perfect and cooked how I like, the staff are friendly and the cafe always looks clean and tidy, defiantly would recommend

Visitamos aquí por un café y un pastel con mi pareja. Entramos en el recinto en torno a las 14.45 (40 minutos antes de la hora de cierre) y nos recibieron de una manera muy grosera por una mujer que dijo que 'está tomando distancia después de decir que no nos dieron una muy desagradable aspecto y dijeron que eran sólo para sentarse en una mesa y que lo estaban cerrando pronto. Aunque el café y el pastel era agradable, nos sentimos presionados durante todo el tiempo allí, que yo no entiendo como aún había un montón de tiempo hasta la hora de cierre. También, algunas personas entrando mientras estábamos allí eran rechazados, mientras que otras fueron permitidos en? En general, estaba claro un cierto miembro del personal sólo quería ir a casa y por lo tanto, el ambiente era de tensión y por lo tanto le agrego volver

Venía y pedimos algo de comida para llevar, ya que casi todos los días, después de que el otro día que no volveremos ...

Visitamos aquí unas cuantas veces, y una vez más, nos recibieron con una sonrisa y acogedor. Como siempre tuve la mitad y mitad que es medio un sándwich y media taza de sopa se sirve con una pequeña ensalada.En un muy buen precio. Café era muy bonita y estaba muy caliente y el personal muy atento y agradable. Volveremos muy pronto

Llegamos en 1040, nuestra orden fue tomada luego 40 minutos más tarde nos pidieron que dar nuestro pedido, ya que había perdido. Así que tras otros 30 minutos nuestro desayuno llegó. Esto era tan pobre y incompetente servicio, tener que esperar más de una hora para 2 bajo los desayunos son normales. Viendo el presentas charlar de cosas detrás del mostrador en lugar de atender a los clientes es poco profesional y descuidadas. Esto resume una mala experiencia de un establecimiento que se pasa muy bien con un personal atento.

Nos encanta este lugar. Buena selección de y los postres de bebidas y tapas de la comida. El personal es amable, muy trabajador y siempre está lleno. Si no puedes ver lo que quieres en el menú son muy atentos y a menudo hacen algo para usted. Los delgado lattes son deliciosos. Muy popular con los lugareños y muchos de ellos trabajan en la zona. Sin duda recomendaría Greens para una taza, café y tarta o una comida.

Best cafe I've been to in Blackpool! Staff really polite and a really nice atmosphere! Would highly recommend!
