Genuine and friendly gunshop with long standing local history. Scott has been incredibly helpful to me and i look forward to my visits to keep up with my fieldsports hobbies. Good selection of clothing and always seems to have what i need instore. His prices have been very competitive beating online quotes from other stores with out me asking. I feel rewarded as a regular and i will always come back with the good customer service i have been given. Always has time for a chat, or reminisce about the old shooting range and lodge ( Its important to know that the shooting range has long closed but some old club pages refer you to clay shoot here still and some of the pictures in the reviews are very outdated)

Have phoned shooting ground all day yesterday and this morning web site said was open today drove all the way there with friends who came down from sheffield.got there and it has been closed since last weekend till next weekend notice on post as just drove in would have been nice if on there answer phone if they had left a message explaining this.thank you

Stuck up unhelpful snobs.. In the airgun shop. If it was my place I would sack them... They are losing the shop money. Don't bother... Go somewhere more helpful.

A great gun shop with great facilities and top notch service

Good price. Good experience.should get there early because it's like a first come first based... So if you get there later and you have people who are slow then you are in a bit of a wait.

I went as a stag party of 14 and it was brilliant. It's cheap a great day out and stunning shooting ranges. It's a must visit place

A friendly atmosphere staff are helpful the targets especially up the top field can be challenging even more so when the wind gets up!! A great place to challenge or brush up your shooting skills.

My husband has just joined the air gun club, everyone is so helpful, and friendly.

Very good shooting grounds with very helpful and friendly staff, always got time for my son who is twelve to give him tips and he can ask them any questions and they will always try to go out there way to help him and the cafe serves up good food and drinks aswell.

Been twice for "have a go" clay pigeon shooting and loved it both times! The instuctor/mentor Les is a very friendly and supportive guy who makes you feel very welcome and safe. The shop staff are helpful and we're happy to answer any questions I had and we're also happy to show me the small bore pistols I was interested in. Great cafe with very bubbly, cheerful staff and yummy food. Great place and a definite must!

Staff are rude and stuck up, unless you are from manor born they are not interested, why they have a air rifle section there is beyond me? they could not care less, they only get the one star for half decent coffee in the café.

Visited the site to take a look as perspective club member .... Very disappointed in the attitude of the 3 guy's in gun shop ....totally uninterested in answering my enquiries as to service for my two rifles Indifferent when I asked to look at a gun from the rack.... Definitely will not be joining... .

I just went into Greenfields gun shop in Canterbury Kent, what a disappointment it was. Firstly there were 4 staff there who showed no interest in serving or helping me with what I was looking for so after about 5 minutes I asked if anyone was serving and the blunt disinterested reply came from the one who was sat down with his arms folded "Depends what you want" it a rather sarcastic voice. I told him I was looking to by a bullpup air gun without moving anything but his lips he call out 2 names after he call them for a second time an assistant appeared from a small room and asked if he could help I explained what I was looking for and what ones I had looked at on line he said he had no knowledge about the 2 Daystates that I mentioned but said they had what I could see on the wall, so I asked him some questions about 2 of them and his answer was he had no idea about the specifications he did pop his head into the room that he had originally come from and I heard a muttering he then told me one piece of information that I had asked but on checking later even that was incorrect, all this time he just stood there staring into space apart from the 5 times he looked at his watch by this point I realised that the staff were either not competent enough or just wishing they were someplace else that I said to them that they had not been very helpful and I would spend my £1,000 + somewhere else even this did not wake them up I will never shop there again. I had traveled 25 miles to get there as on the phone they seemed as if they could help me but this was far from the case.

Great shooting club, very welcoming to beginners. Avoid the on-site cafe/pub the quality is low and the staff rude and arrogant.

It's well laid out with good facilities. Don't make the mistake that I made of confusing Play and Pay (which only happens at the weekends) with Practice (which is at any time provided you have a licence). And I see that there's a review here from some confused person who doesn't realise that that a clay pigeon isn't a bird. And that birds don't get shot here. And some of us don't shoot them at all.

This place is a good place to for shooting my first time I love it. .
