Well high expectations. Farm restaurant, 32 plus more sauce, for fillet steak, thought can’t go wrong. When it came out we both looked and thought, chip shop fries. The shop has a chip shop ion the premises. Maybe it’s us, but we paid 32 pounds for fillet at Holts in Honiton, with a taste bud sensation of flavours. Steak was superb, both places, but that’s where the comparison ended. We paid more for chip shops chips, little presentation and nothing else. So in our view, not worth it. Sadly very waitress was however lovely. Had breakfast there earlier, and in our view that’s all we will stick with in future.

During December we enjoyed several Xmas meals, with different walking groups, at various venues. The Greenfield Cafe came out top for food, friendly service and value for money. Muddy boots didn't bother them, over 20 of us were served very quickly and efficiently. Will definately be returning in 2022.

First time here and ordered a BLT sandwich. Not only did I get the sandwich but got a side order of crisps, salad and coleslaw. The lady who served me was very welcoming and friendly. Just one tiny criticism, I would have preferred the sandwich not toasted but wasn't given the option. Would highly recommend

Came to the cafe for a second visit for a full breakfast, the lady (Julie-Anne) who cooked our breakfast didn't disappoint, lovely friendly and very helpful. Tasty breakfast and coffee and later a tasty take away coffee and walnut cake. Cant recommend enough.

While the surroundings of the dining area are not particularly attractive, breakfast at the Greenfield Cafe is both excellent and excellent value. The staff are helpful and friendly and we are only sorry that the cafe is not open during school holidays. It is not necessarily an experience for 'fine diners', but is certainly worth a visit!

A regular for me when I'm working at the school. The food is exceptionally good. I've had the Ploughman's and the Cheese & Onion Toastie - both with extras and both amazing quality and delicious. Have even been allowed to have a tab for a day when I couldn't pay once - credit cards not accepted - worth a note. Very kind and thanks. :) A great place to eat for families and anyone wanting a good hearty lunch. The staff are lovely too and very accommodating. A great view too. Enjoy!

I work at the school and feel privilaged to have such a facility on our doorstep. James and Michelle are amazing and I have to work hard not to treat myself to cappuccinno too often. The portion size is amazing and they are brilliant with kids of all ages. Great place! Try out the breakfast too :)

Lovely place, lovely menu, lovely setting. I would have given this top marks but for the smell of burnt fat, possibly chip fat and cooking smells. This made the experience none to pleasant. When we returned home our clothes were stinking of fat. We would love to go there again but concerned that something is wrong with their extractor system.

Really can't fault the cafe. The menu is fab and even when we asked for something off the menu, the staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. They are very friendly and great with our children. It's a lovely setting and nice to know the proceeds go back in to the school. It is very reasonably priced and excellent value for money. As a local it is lovely to have something decent in our area.

This newly opened Café is in a great location next to The Bath and West Showground next to the Mendip School. There is plenty of parking. The café is open Monday to Friday 8.30 to 4pm and closed during School holidays. There is a varied menu offering an excellent West Country full English Breakfast plus bacon, sausage or egg sandwiches, croissant, cereals, porridge etc. A very good selection of salads, sandwiches, toasties, soup, jacket potatoes and a children's menu. Prices are very good value. Highly recommend.

Excellent ice creams, great variety and flavour. I visited with my dogs on a really hot day in July. Perfect way to cool down. Also a special mention to the pet shop Wiggle and Wag which shares a site with the gelato shop. Both great.

We don’t really know Dorking but came for a comedy gig and wanted food and drink before the show. We booked a table online and then were a bit confused when we walked in as it’s looks like a work space but then has a bar and says it served food. The staff explained they had a limited menu currently. As we were there and we’d booked we thought we’d give it a go. We ordered halloumi fries to start and then various burgers - whilst initially worried this was just going to be a zap in the microwave job; how wrong we were. The food was so good. The food was restaurant quality!! The staff (particularly the gent I assume was the manager) were so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely go again; and look forward to when they have their full menu.

A truly great evening was had last night. We went for a Christmas meal, and from the point of arrival when we found “Thatchers Zero” in the fridge for the designated driver, to settling up at the end of the evening the experience was great. Super friendly staff, and a well behaved pub dog who just had a look of “please love me” on his face. The food was superb, and the price was good value for money. I would definitely recommend the pub.

Visited Glastonbury whilst on a weeks break in Crewkerne. Popped into to this lovely cafe as it was dog friendly. Forgetting my glasses I asked if they catered for gluten free, they did (it stated it on the menu). As I ordered the lady behind the counter asked if I was coeliac, I told her I was. When the food was brought to the table, the lady explained that she had cleaned the kitchen and prepared my food using all new unopened ingredients. All I had was a corned beef and onion sandwich, but the attention to detail was second to none. Really recommend this place to coeliacs and non coeliacs.

The Sunrise Cafe may look like an ordinary cafe on the outside but inside the food is something special! Choose something from The Thai menu if you like Thai food and you will experience some of the best authentic Thai cooking outside Thailand! We stopped here for lunch after driving around the Malvern Hills all morning thinking it was just a normal cafe but discovered that it also had a Thai Menu cooked by a delightful Thai lady Chef called "Jim". I am not sure how she came by that name but she was definitely a woman! We chose Tom Yum chicken soup and checked that would not be too spicy hot first. It was perfect and also contained Mushroom, Sping Onion and Tomato. Incredibly tasty with a mild warmth aftertaste. We followed this with a Chicken Massaman Curry which included a Jasmine sticky rice. The curry was the best we have tasted. It looked so appetising with it's rich golden colour. The friendly Hungarian waitress also supplied us with water and afterwards my wife Angie had a hot chocolate and I had a White Cofffee. A fantastic meal and drinks for just under £20 a head. If you are touring the Malverns this is worth taking a detour for! It is open from about 8:30 am to 4pm this time of the year and has a garden available at the back for outdoor seating in the summer months. The Cafe also serves a range of cooked breakfasts and lunches or hot sandwiches, some deserts, milkshakes, hot and cold drinks.
