Forgot popadoms and was plain Jane tasting Normally it’s banging but this time not good 👎

had your green spice special which sounded lovely however I was underwhelmed by the level of spice (fairly hot) I've had a korma with more heat than that dish. The Dansak was sweet and Spicy not keen on the special fried rice either. As for your lamb chops they were nice as were the onion bhaji and peshawari naan so I'd give it a 3 out 5 room for improvement

Delicious, chicken curry was tasty full of flavour, mixed kebab are a must

breads were too doughy...and undercooked. Both the curry and side were underwhelming , short on spice and seasoning.

Late Cold and tasteless sums it up

My bottle of cola was missing, which was disappointing but the food was lovely and tasty, My husband particularly likes the Quorn Tikka Masala.

Went first time here. Good was good . Look of place inside was good. The rotis were so soft and hot just like home chappatis .the toilet was spotless clean , which u don’t get usually at restaurants

I asked the Manager for a simple and easy meal of his choice What I got was truly amazing The flavours were outstanding A real credit to this restaurant The service and food was beautiful and I have no problem in recommending them to anyone You will not be disappointed!!!

Mixed bag. Some dishes were nice (dhansak) but unfortunately some were poor. Biryani is particularly bland. Quite disappointed.

The food was pipng hot and no spillages. So delicious as well. Never had a bad meal from them in over 10 years that we've been ordering.

I used to go Green Spice many years ago and always enjoyed it. Went back last night. It's cold, so cold that a portable heater was put by us and we couldn't take our coats off through the whole meal. Water bottles were plastic ones from Aldi. Atmosphere has all but gone. Half the restaurant is now a hotel. The food coming out was so slow, we were waiting at least 20/25 minutes between I understand this is down to online orders and serving the hotel. But there is hardly any priority or staff walking around for actual customers. The salad looked like it had been hacked up, mashed together and put on a plate. Very bizarre. The staff members were nice enough. But now we all have terrible stomach aches....so not sure what the issue was with the food... We will not be going back again. On top of that it was so expensive. Premium prices, mediocre experience.

Evening meal for four of us. Great food and very good prices. We’ll be back! Recommended

Delivery time was embarrassingly bad, the chicken tikka masala was top level, the egg fried rice OK, the mix kebab was very poor, Naan very nice. Will have to visit to get a proper experience but won’t be doing delivery again

If you’re looking for a 5 star Indian meal then green spice is the place to go! Top class food and service from Arman! Have dined in the restaurant 2 nights in a row and the curry was top class best I have tasted in a long time! If you stay in the hotel then you benifit from 10% discounts at the restraunt!

A curry house in decline. Food was edible but completely underwhelming. Soft drinks expensive. The cherry on the top was being charged extra for each of the 4 chutneys that came with our 6 poppadoms. Don't waste your money. Moribund.

Was happy with the food initially until the 3 of us woke up the next morning with food poisoning. Have forwarded details to just eat and my Dr to have proof so i can take this further as have now lost earnings because of this. Still trying to contact the restaurant.

Pleasantly surprised! Haven't been for a number of years as previously experienced watery madras but tonight was actually a great experience. Very attentive staff, lovely food and definitely not watery madras. Definitely will be returning

I have just had a meal here tonight. The food is gorgeous. I ordered chicken madras and cauliflower side dish. They both are yummy. Especially the cauliflower. Love it.

Watery. No flavour. No spice. Utterly abysmal. Tarka dhal was a disgrace. Poppodams were as if they had been fried in weeks old grease.

It’s was 10-15 mins late and the food has NO TASTE ! No salt and so bland! My first and last time here ! Sorry guys !

The delivery is terrible here, the driver will refused to walk up steps to the flat and makes us leave our kids and come down to collect from outside. Next, today's meal was bad. Popadoms taste of grease, keema rice had no keema, onion bagjis were bland, greasy and stale. Red sauce was vile and salty. We've had 2 good meals in the past and this one was terrible. Won't be ordering again unfortunately

Food delivered quickly and by a nice friendly person, however the food was significantly lacking in quality. The chicken pakora was inedible, like it had been fried for an hour or was crunchy like eating pebbles with no chicken inside whatsoever. The cheese and garlic naan was both undercooked and burnt at the same time and cold so the cheese had congealed into a greasy ball of unpleasantness. The meat korma was just ok, incredibly sweet and I wouldn’t want to guess what the ‘meat’ was because

I never ever write google reviews but this time I had to. I had worst experience ever in this restaurant because we arrived at 9.30 pm Night time it was Sunday as per google it was suppose to open till 11.00 pm but when we arrived at 9.30 pm the waiter with glasses said we are closed but I will try but he was not happy serving us also I asked for 2nd Naan and he refused it which was shocking and he was very rude and keep on checking on us that we have finished or not everything must be recorded on camera the owner must take strict action against these type of employes else he will loose good bussiness.

Very basic but pricey. Lamb tikka starter is just one cube of lamb at a cost of about £6 and a glass of coke is £4.95, keema rice is bland and the lamb curry itself is mainly sauce with no taste. Very disappointing as it used to be a place for a great atmosphere and extremely good food. We won’t be going back.

Not what I was expecting I cannot eat the rice as allergy against prawns when I order from other Indian food vegatable biryara does not contain prawns

Food was awful, most inedible in fact. Onion bahji overcooked and tough, tasted burnt. Chicken pakora the same, very disappointing and couldn't eat. Vegetable curry had an odd taste and couldn't eat. Vegetables were frozen and mint sauce was tasteless. Won't be ordering again

The korma tasted nice but it was really watery. The onion bhaji’s were really oily and not light and crispy. The peshwari Naam’s were pretty good.

Arrived early Saturday evening (6.45) and seemed a little quiet. It has been quite a few years since I was last here. Totally changed and is a smaller place because now it's a hotel as well. The food and service were very good and I enjoyed the meal . I also tried some other dishes that my friends had and all seemed to be cooked to perfection. Portions and presentation were very good so overall it was a nice evening and prices were reasonable.

Chicken Rezalla was lovely, but unfortunately the vegetable korma was very bland.

Absolutely shocking experience, ordered food and got the wrong food delivered, when I called to speak to them about it they argues and said it was right which it wasn't, the attitude was poor and no care what happens to customers, the chicken was burnt and the naan bread was basically cremated, I travel alot for work so order from many places, this has got to be one of the worst places I jave ordered from. Would give it lower than 1 star if it was possible.

Never had a amazing experience ordering food here (something usual happens) but last time ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken was burnt so bad it was black & mushroom rice atone cold. Promised a refund but never happened. Offered a full replacement meal next time I ordered but everyone that answers the phone has to run it by manager who has been on holiday since New Years 🤔. Apparently no1 can make a decision without owners permission... load of rubbish. Food is 'usually' better than alternatives but service received is generally laughable. When you complain phone is hung up... Good luck if you order here.

Ordered a 18:00 finally delivered at 20:10 after calling the restaurant, who at first tried to say they didn't have the order. It had been confirmed and I had an order number. Then they said I'd given them the wrong address and then hung up on me when I said the address is automatically put on. The food with the exception of the vegetable samosas was ok if lukewarm.

Food was cold lettuce was brown. Got a slice of cucumber a slice of carrot and brown lettuce as a salad. Naan was really doughy it was sticking to your fingers. Not happy at all
