Well I was using you for years, but no longer, I won’t have attitude when I call to place an order and you answer the phone and leave me holding while I hear another phone being picked up in the background and taking an order down. If you don’t have enough staff to pick up a phone I suggest you employ additional staff and preferably without attitude to the customer. I’ve ordered an Indian instead, quicker, happy to take you’re money and can change any items on the menu without battering an eye lid. Have a think about what I have said and you might keep your customers you already have. It’s a shame but rudeness is unexceptable.

After the moon house sadly having to close, we were unsure if we would find another Chinese that we enjoyed. After trying several in and out of the area and hearing from lo als that this was the best we decided to try it. Although it doesn't look like much from the shop, the food really is lovely. Salt and chilli chicken/chips was my biggest worry but its big pieces of chicken and cooked beautifully. I then thought I'd try some other dishes and curry/rice and chow mein again, all lovely flavour. I've been several times since my first visit around 5 or 6 months ago and I really think that each time I order, it improves. I now won't use any other Chinese. If you're unsure, I would advise giving this place a try as all the others in the surrounding area aren't a patch on this place.

good quality meals and not a rip off. meals are all prepared fresh. and if you visit there is a glass screen so you see what is going on in the kitchen

Had a delivery yesterday 2nd May and was absolutely delicious, delivered on time, hot and tasty, in these Covid times was limited in options of takeaways but thoroughly recommend Green River!

Had our Chinese delivered last night from this takeaway ..it was the worst I have ever had please never ever use this shy hole it was terrible 😱😱😱

The food was badly cooked, the crispy chilly beef was stuck in a solid block, the rice wasn't light or fluffy it was sticky and lumpy. The chickin in one dish im sure wasn't proper chickin breast. The chickin balls Werner crispy but soft and sticky. Worst Chinese meal ever.

The worst food I have ever seen so bad it went in the bin straight away should have taken it back We visit restaurants on a regular basis takeout quite often but never this place again

We have been using green river for 6 years, but I rang and asked for rice noodles done like chicken chow mien due to being gluten free. Amazing 😉

Went for a takeaway earlier this month food was inedible and binned without even trying. Partner complained to manger not at all concerned. Even showed him photos

Food was disgusting one taste straight in the bin .How this place is in business is beyond me. Give a wide berth

It’s the second time this takeaway delivered the wrong order, the food was cold and unappetising and the phone was constantly engaged so I could not get through to let them know we did not have all of our order. The order was taken over the phone by a young abrupt girl with the giggles and delivered by another young girl, perhaps it’s a staffing issue. Needless to say we will not be ordering from them any time soon

Great food and staff are always nice which helps. Will always give you a bottle of drink if you spend over the required amount, They value their customers.

Always been good, and helpful staff when I request gluten free options, as usually Chinese is off the menu for me, at least they will advise and make something that I can eat, so I can eat Chinese with friends, always delivered quickly and hot.

Have enjoyed food from this shop for around forty years, the food is always fresh and quickly served. Be prepared for a slight delay when they are busy due to it's popularity. This is the best Chinese in this area. Well recommended.

bruvvv. if you ever think about coming down to the collier row ends. go to chop suey centre. cuz it is much better than this trash

Regularly order by phone and collect when ready. Extensive menu. usually ready in 15/20 mins. Always hot and tasty. Would recommend.

Muy bueno para llevar, la comida es siempre caliente, fresca y gustos muy buena y te hace creer que aún era reciente, a diferencia de algunos para llevar. Hemos vivido en collier row por casi 5 años y siempre he vuelto a éste ya que nunca decepciona. Entregar mínimo £12, que está a la pena recoger como normal, sin embargo puede tener un 30 - 40 minutos de espera para la entrega.

La mejor comida china que he tenido muy sabroso lleno de sabores el servicio es excelente, la sal y mirón costillas muy sabrosos me encanta el cerdo y pollo en arroz frito i orden una vez cada semana encanta

This place is very convenient and we order from it about once a week. Portions are certainly adequate. They have a telephone system that tells them where you are.

the food is excellent and the takeaway is as good the only chinese to use in essex the ribs are the best ive eaten anywhere
