Visited on Saturday. Was busy but not full. Got seated upstairs, nice atmosphere and feel, looking down into the rest of the market. The food was fantastic - everything we had was freshly cooked and awesome but would recommend the steamed bao buns and the Korean chicken pieces. Will definitely go back.

OMG YUM! We had a small selection and my mate could not even choose a favourite. It all just hit the spot! Korean street food; the place was understated. Downstairs we saw a selection of food ping across a TV screen before being seated upstairs. It's not inside really, so it took a little time to warm up, but we got there. Smelled amazing and we ogled other's food arrivals before ordering too, well we tried. My mate refused to share, so 2x ribs it was with a starter of oyster balls, bang bang cauliflower (delightful) and rosemary fries - good choice too. Rice wasn't the best and the same sauce seemed to be on everything, but as we liked it that was a plus! Slaw was also cool... Would head back in a heartbeat, in fact I brought half of mine home and ate in secret so as not to share it. Try it, Love it...

We turned up speculatively for lunch after visiting Dr Vinyl in Tooting Broadway Market. We arrived at just the right as the lunch rush was just starting. There were tables available but we also noticed that half were reserved, which is always a good sign. My wife order BBQ chicken with rice, and I ordered a ramen with tofu. We also had beer and juice respectively. Everything arrived in good time and more importantly was tasty. The tables are located above the kitchen so you have a fun and lively view of the market. A positive experience, we'd go again for brunch, lunch or afternoon snack. Recommended.

Korean fried cauliflower and bibimbap were banging. Great customer service and good food. Funky interior matching the market vibe, but you can forget that you are in the market when you seat upstairs.

Hello, I miss this beautiful restaurant. If the owners are still following this place, I would like to get in touch.

Spicy Noodle Cafe is essentially a Chinese twist on the greasy-spoon cafe, serving Chinese dishes, English breakfasts, sandwiches, omelettes, and even roast lamb and roast chicken meals. Incredible! Despite the consistently good reviews here, we found the food to be rather underwhelming. The King Prawn Fried Rice was far too salty, while the Singapore Fried Noodles was just a bit forgettable. Quite surprising considering most Chinese takeaways ace both those dishes. That said I’m keen to come back and give them another chance to impress, since they have such an incredibly wide menu and great reputation. Edit: my partner went back and got food poisoning, so perhaps I won’t return after all. If you found my review or photos helpful please leave a quick like 🩶 Thank you 🥡

Absolutely outstanding Thai food – a real find for us! Unlike many Thai spots in the UK that tone down their flavours and add so much coconut milk, Siam Brasserie serves food that’s boldly authentic and packed with the real taste of Thailand. The flavours are fresh, vibrant, and expertly balanced. I had the Pad Kra Pao , and it was bursting with holy basil, garlic, and chilli – exactly how it should be. The Som Tum (papaya salad) was spicy, tangy, and refreshing, just like the street versions in Bangkok. The jungle curry was just amazing! The service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere has a relaxed, elegant charm. It’s clear the chefs know their craft and aren’t afraid to deliver true Thai heat – a huge plus for anyone who appreciates proper Thai cooking. The Tom Yum soup had just the right amount of sourness and spice, and the prawns were perfectly cooked. Every dish felt like it had been carefully prepared. The whole seabass was perfectly cooked. If you're after an authentic Thai experience, this is the place. It's easily one of the best Thai meals I've had in the UK – I will absolutely be returning. Five stars for flavour, authenticity, and overall experience. Highly recommended for spice lovers and Thai food purists! The jelly beans with the bill were also a nice touch. It's easy to miss in Clapham, but once you find it, you'll be back!
