My first visit here as part of a large birthday party, I have a limited diet but the staff were excellent and accommodated my needs brilliantly, offering suggestions. The food and service was excellent, highly recommended.

Very good food and they have loads of very competitive price dishes. We left full and paid £22 for two!

Second visit today and there will probably be a third. Service is ok but not well organised. The place is small but nicely laid out but the food is great!! If I had to niggle about anything' they need to up their chip game! They are disappointing frozen chips into a fryer. Putting oregano on them doesn't make them any better.

Lovely meal and good value for money. I had the sea food: Sea bass, calamari, prawns, herb potatoes and feta salad, fish was cooked beautifully.

Fabulous, went for my daughter’s birthday at lunchtime. Really very good lunch, lovely food and drinks, with v good service.

Lovely food, very tasty and enjoyable. Only issue was we were left a long time for someone to approach to order drinks second time no one came and we had to go up and ask to order another drink and was told to go and sit down.

Everything is served with chips. Can't say the food was memorable and didn't really enjoy it. The humous was like a bowl of cold porridge with greasy pittas.

A little peeved that at 20.30 on a Friday night asking for food only to be told that the kitchen has closed down for the night !!! I don't understand why they would do this at all! On their Web page it says 21.00 they close , so why not say you are wasting your time coming at 20.30 as we have closed the kitchen down fgs!!!

Had a great meal here with a big party of 10 of us. Food all served promptly, amazing meals, great service and atmosphere. Staff were working non stop to serve a packed out restaurant but never left us unattended when we needed more drinks . Great experience thank you

The Greek Kitchen is a fabulous spot. There is a wide choice of traditional meals and some gorgeous puddings. The staff are lovely, the prices are reasonable and there is always a nice atmosphere. Be sure to book, as there are often groups celebrating family birthdays etc

First time eating at this little greek gem in Scunthorpe, the pork gyro was amazing and very tasty, we also had a selection of meat and vegetable starters, all were delicious. I can highly recommend for lunch or a great place for a romantic meal with friends.

Excellent food for a fair price.

I've had to change my view of this place, I recently went to purchase a takeaway, I started to place my order of moussaka to be told that whilst they had some available they may be needed later, so they refused my order. There was a look of surprise on the server face when I said I won't bother and left. They should not advertise a takeaway service if those customers don't have the same respect and regard as all customers. Very poor service, lousy attitude and customer service.

Came here for a date and we both enjoyed everything about it! The food was delicious and not too pricey, the portions were decent (had to take some of it home), for these reasons I've recommended this restaurant to many people. Would also like to say the young waitress with dark hair was so lovely and couldn't do enough for us.

Would not recommend as customer service lacked completely and food burnt. My side of food i had ordered came 15 minutes after our main meals. Atmosphere was shocking as workers stood and did hardly anything. Honestly shocked and super upset will not be returning.

The food was perfectly edible, but not the most authentic Greek meal I’ve ever had, and was expensive given the quality of the food. Was made to feel like an inconvenience and service was close to nonexistent. It’s a shame as I really hoped to find a good Greek place to frequent. The search continues!

Love the food here, but on this occasion they only had 1 portion of vegetable moussaka left. It is cold in here too.

We booked for 14 people, but as soon as other customers walked in, our table was being reduced in size, then wanting someone to squeeze people on the end wasn't going to work with large people. My Hubby bought me a glass of wine, that was given to someone else in our group. Then we where moved to another table as others were leaving, and we could now fit together on a table. It was further away from the door, so a little warmer. Naturally the prices have gone up, but we found the food quality had reduced, as those who had chips found they were half cooked, and some of their meats over cooked. We have visited a few times, but most of our group found issues this visit and I always find the place cold. Another day perhaps it will be back as it was, cold drafts from the opening of the door, with quality food and good company.

Its a great place for different to normal food, all have meat and tomato. Im a fussy eater, and they always find a way to change the plate for me. Always great service, but gets a little cold in there.

I bought for the first time from this restaurant 2 menus, I took them as a takeaway when I got home, both menus had hair in them, the food was full of long black hair, I felt sick, the women in the kitchen prepared the food with loose hair left free without the hair net hair for protection🤢🤮👎👎👎👎

Me and my wife came for her birthday, was my first Greek food experience, service and atmosphere was amazing ... food not to my taste ... not a shade on the restaurant it tasted great and was cooked to perfection and filled us up but prefer spicier food, overall great experience 8.5 out of 10. Thank you will definitely recommend.

After going to zante a Greek island. And eating proper Greek food. This was abit of a let down. Not for me and not again.

Food was amazing and the place itself was really nice. My only criticism was the service tended to be focused more on the main area not the side tables near the counter. We had our meal and waited ages before giving up on desert. I had to go to the counter to ask for the bill. However I wont let it spoil a great evening and will definitely go back as the food was as good as when I went to Greece.

I paid a deposit for my nieces hen night, unfortunately I could not get my wheelchair in with a very small but steep ramp that they had to borrow. The lady came to speak to me about using the ramp to get in. I explained that we had tried that and I could not get in and as I was sat there a man stood on the ramp and it slipped as it was too steep. I feel like a second class citizen, is it too much to expect access and enough room for wheelchairs in the 21st century? I was really looking forward to trying their food, however I am unlikely to try them again and would rather go where we can gain access with ease.

Taken here by some friends and was amazed. Only a small restaurant but the food was delicious, loads of courses too, live music whilst dining ending with dancing by staff and guests alike. Thoroughly recommend it

Pop in while walking in town. WoW service just outstanding, we were offered a variation on ingredients and choice to swap the main protein source( beef or lamb). Really felt welcome and looked after . Decor gives sense of being on holiday in Greece 🇬🇷

From the minute the four of us entered the taverna we were made to feel welcome. The ambience was just right with that touch of a traditional Greek restaurant. Each member of staff was friendly, informative and professional and made us feel comfortable. The service time was just about right - not rushed nor having to wait. Our choices of food (two starters and four different mains) did not disappoint either. The food was hot, tasty and plentiful. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended. Well done and thank you to all of the staff, and particularly to the chefs. Excellent 👍

First time visiting “Greek Kitchen Taverna” restaurant. Very busy, table was booked in advance as party of 7. Staff very accommodating…although next time would maybe request a table along the side wall with the fixed seating… and…a little more space for food 🙄🙂 Good portion sizes, food very tasty and would recommend the prawn skewer with the garlic butter 😋 Yum yum. ✌🏻
