There were rude servers and the place was not what it was advertised as it was dark dim and ugly!!!!

Era bonito, pero me esperaba más. El personal era bastante agradable. Me pareció que el té de la tarde debía ser pijo. Los sándwiches aunque abundante todavía tenía la corteza en ellos y no había selección de tés que pudieras beber té, aunque era ilimitado sólo nos daba una olla para compartir. La casa de café en sí era precioso y el ambiente era tranquilo y pacífico. El bollo de eran bastante pequeñas y la mermelada y nata había derretido, tuvimos 1 teacake cortada en la mitad entre nosotros que nos sorprendió porque tanto a no son costosos y no podía entender la lógica. Me he té allí adecuadamente cuando he hecho mis compras y descansar. Lo que ves es lo que obtienes

Una selección realmente precioso de comida servida por un miembro del personal muy amable y servicial. La fruta estaba fresca, sándwiches hechos a la orden y las tartas y bollos estaban deliciosos! Mi único problema es que no nos pidieron que té nos gustaría. No es un problema importante de ninguna manera, sólo que prefiero el té descafeinado! Lo recomiendo completamente.

Ilimitado tazas de té, la elección de cada una ronda de bocadillos, montones de fruta, bollos y pasteles de crema, pasteles, lujoso servicio excelente y un entorno agradable... qué más puedo decir. Bien hecho, Greater London Coffee House!

Truly amazing and very enjoyable afternoon tea :) great value and fantastic service , As soon as i got home re-booked !! we where served by Iveta super service and very kind lady , it was my birthday treat , even went out and purchased a balloon so generous highly recommend please can you make sure our gold star waitress see's this review and thank her again from us x

We had a Groupon voucher, but even without, it's only £9.99 for two people to have afternoon tea. The cake stands were beautiful, the coffee house is beautiful, and the food was delicious. You choose your sandwiches from the menu, and they bring them up on the stand with gorgeous little cakes and tarts, and lovely fresh fruit, and then they bring out scones and toasted teacakes. We've posted the photos on Facebook and already our friends are arranging dates with us as they want to go. So we will be going back very soon!

OK - not the usual smart hotel location although this is based in a hotel in a slightly odd location but this does not detract from the quality of the offering and the charming staff Sandwich choice on thick bread with crusts left on, scone each presented rather like a smart dessert which requires a knife and fork , a toasted teacake to share, four very good mini pastries and fresh fruit. Individual tea pots and probably the first time in many tea trips that we were asked if we wanted more hot water/tea bags before we had to ask! Would return

We had a Groupon deal for 4 for afternoon tea. The waitress was so helpful. The afternoon tea was really nice. There was fruit, scones, a toasted sandwich and cakes, and refill of tea if required. Would go again if it wasn't in such a difficult area to reach by car.

My friends and I often pop in for a quick lunch. There is a good selection of food on the menu, from sandwiches to jacket potatoes and burgers. The prices are reasonable and it is an ideal stop during a shopping trip to Ilford. There is a selection of luxury coffees, also reasonably priced. The food is well presented and freshly prepared. The staff are helpful. Overall it is a comfortable and pleasant place to have lunch, although the seating area is not very large as it situated near the reception in a hotel, however we have always managed to get a table and would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Have been going here since it opened for my work lunch. Nice surroundings and peaceful. Great tea and sandwiches made fresh. Staff make you feel very welcome.

Just tried the coffee and panini loved it specially the taste of coffee beans and the entire coffee shop is beautiful and great panini

Try cake and cupcake flavors. Prefer milky coffee. You'll love the location. I quite liked the presentation in the workshop. An intimate environment where you can infect your friends.

Paninis, cafe, te para dos, todo ello en un calido ambiente y con una atencion muy amable de sus empleados.

Fuimos con mi pareja, pedimos dos paninis riquisimos con mucho queso y jamon con dos cafes. Muy recomendable si te hospedas en las cercanias.

Loved a cappuccino served with scone. Amazing value for money. I paid for a coffee of really good quality with a scone only £ 2.50 Amazing! I would recommend.

Sophisticated environment and top class. If you want nice quite time and peaceful environment then you won't finder better then this.
