Food was not hot, chicken chow mein over cooked, Chicken satay needed more cooking, honey chilli chicken hardly any sauce, spring onion and ginger pork had no sauce, 95% of it was cooked sliced onion ( not spring onion ) but tasted of very little .. This business must have changed the chef or ownership, as well as upping prices.. seriously the worst takeaway I have ever had. Such a shame to lose great Chinese food from Bordon ….

The food was horrifically salty to the point we had to throw it away. We can tolerate salt but this was too much salt to be able to be edible

Shocking quality of food. Noodles overcooked and mushy, burnt prawn toast with hardly any prawn filling, spring rolls with no filling and chicken balls not delivered even though they packed the sauce, finally delivered 20 minutes after meal was originally delivered. Overall meal was not edible only high points were seaweed and the fact it was delivered early.

Pretty disappointed with the quality of the food. Three items costing £35. The salt and pepper chicken wings were probably the worst that I have ever had. The noodles were gloopy and dry, but the crispy shredded beef pretty good.

I thought it only fair to counter the negative experiences some people have had at this restaurant . On moving to the area. I had noted the poor reviews from most of the takeaways in the area. I was particularly looking for a decent Chinese and apart from one order confusion have had no problems in 4 years here.I think the food is very good, it’s hard to find a proper crispy beef! It is definitely a mile better than “the other”. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it I say

Has this establishment changed hands recently? Always order sweet and sour pork balls, which are usually delicious cooked cubes of char siu pork in crispy batter. The pork balls received this evening are greasy, pork is grey and undercooked, flabby and fatty. Absolutely disgusting.

Well….. what can I say, my wife and I have been getting takeaways delivered from this Chinese and they have been fantastic until….. it changed ownership recently! What a load of SHITE! DO NOT ORDER!! THIS FOOD IS NOT EVEN GOOD ENOUGH FOR MY DOG!! We have recently been away and haven’t had a Chinese for a long time. After having to wait for ages for it to turn up, everything that should be crispy, was soggy!! Absolute disappointment. Sorry, WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING. 🤮🤮

Ordered from here tonight, firstly food was late. Then dishing it up the chicken balls & spring rolls were full of grease and soft no crispness to them at all. The egg fried rice was sticky, oily, bland just inedible. Chips soggy. Chicken curry had a weird bitter after taste. Chicken chow mein was the only thing edible 100% waste of £47.95! SO IF YOU ARE THINKING OF ORDERING THINK AGAIN THE FOOD IS VILE!

This is a great Chinese takeaway in Bordon. They are the only Chinese restaurant on Just Eat but we have actually started ordering directly with them as they give a discount on collection orders. The food is great and there is a very large vegetarian selection which my wife likes. It is also a good value. The only criticism is their fried rice, but everything things else I have eaten from here is great! The only Chinese restaurant we order from in Bordon

Under new management- food was inedible and we have been going here for 4 years- never again!

Normally when I order from here I have mostly no complaints, this time round the salt and pepper l ribs were swimming in water and was barely any ribs to begin with, the chow main was barely warm.

We have ordered food from Great Wall dozens of times and we usually love it. Our most recent order, however, was incredibly disappointing. I don't know if the establishment has been taken over by new management or something, but all of our dishes were nowhere near the quality we have come to expect. One of the dishes we usually order wasn't on the menu and it seemed that the recipe or ingredients were different to normal too. None of the dishes were enjoyed and we probably won't order again!

Hasn't realised the restaurant had changed hands until we ordered this evening. Got there to be told we needed to get cash out, which I wasnt told on the phone when ordering. Food was either bland, overcooked or sour. Wont be returning, which is a shame as it was our favourite Chinese. 👎

Superb quality, delivered on time, great tasting food will definitely try a few more dishes from the Great Wall. The only minor gripe is that the chips were a bit dry, so needed to be smothered in curry sauce :)

Ordered some crispy seaweed, crispy thai sweet chilli duck and spring rolls. Spring rolls were absolutely amazing and tasted delicious. Crispy seaweed were excellent and was indeed very crispy. The thai sweet chilli duck were quite nice and the sauce was delightful. Delivery was good. Overall, would order again - nice little takeaway.

So disappointing! It’s extremely over priced for what you get, the standard of the food is poor and they charge £5 to deliver it one mile down the road. I certainly won’t be ordering from here again!

I'm not sure what the rice was but didnt look or taste like egg fried rice and it was dry . food was flavourless. I couldn't be bothered phoning to complain as hasn't got anywhere with others that have complained in the past

To expensive for the quality of food I got brown rice and curry sauce that had no taste since when does it cost £25 to feed one person and all I ordered was chicken curry egg fried rice and a can of coke and eve. Then the driver thought I was going to give him a £5 tip will not be ordering again

Tried the chicken satay dish, but it was disappointing. No satay sauce and overcooked chicken made it inedible. Wouldn't recommend.

One of the beef dish we ordered didn’t arrive and instead got a chicken dish. The chow mien was bland and not enjoyable, the beef dish that did arrive was tough and chewy the “black bean sauce” in the dish was all watery.

Stodgy food and shredded chilli beef was clumped together and Luke warm. The beef was dry and the black bean sauce was non existent. The only saving grace was the coconut rice which was delicious, which we combined with tinned fish. Definitely not worth the money!

Kung pow is not Kung pow like anywhere else, not crispy and not sticky and no chilli spice. If you like brown rice this the place to order, If you ask for signapore noodles expect chow mein with dry curry sauce. Bad food, bad English, don't know how to do the buisness

Was great to have the food 20-25 mins before the first earliest time given for delivery. The portion sizes are the same as any other Chinese in the area, but everyone commented on how bland the dishes were. The sauces lacked any kind of taste and it was lucky we ordered enough sweet and sour sauce to pep them up. We used this takeaway this time for the convenience of ordering and paying online but at £60 and £4.50 delivery it certainly wasn’t a contender against others for us. Will not use again

Cold on arrival, rude on the phone when I questioned when my delivery was coming after leaving over 20 minutes before phoning (at this point 30 minutes late) . Quality of food terrible.Won't be ordering again.

Beef curry we ordered has no flavour to it at all, last time we had it it was delicious so this was a real disappointment

Food looks great but tastes very bland, no chicken in the chicken chow mein and bland, same with the duck chow mein but I actually had duck in mine, crispy chilli beef tasted like sweet and sour rather than chilli and quite sickly, egg fried rice had no flavour just tasted like rice and egg, seemed like it had no flavouring added, chips were dry. Only thing that was nice was the vegetable spring rolls.. really disappointing considering I spent nearly £50 including delivery charge.

The food from Great Wall Chinese is amazing, although it may be a little more expensive than other places locally, it's SO worth it! The vegan options are brilliant and I won't go anywhere else for a cheeky weekend takeaway! Thank you so much for the speedy service and delicious food ❤️ Also, they respond really well to any note you leave them - I often ask for no egg in my spring onion fried rice and tofu in the mixed vegetable dishes. 👌

Food was sub par, dry and tasted like it was put through the microwave. Fish cakes were bouncy and shrivelled and chicken balls were gristly. Chow mein was dry and there was a lack of egg, in the egg fried rice. Had much better from this place but definitely not worth the £47 we paid.

Just left a review, but it wants me to leave another. All I can say is we work hard for are money just like others, and time are so hard now. A takeaway really is a treat..but we have been ripped off by just eat and Great Wall of china.. Bordon, Hampshire. Read other reviews to get full story , but we will never ever use just eat again, I don’t know why people use them as there rip off merchants, adding money to the restaurants menu when it’s already expensive, they roughly add 80p to £1.00 plus per meal.. didn’t realise that’s how they make there money.. so for example if the selected restaurant sell chips for £1.20 if you order through just eat they will charge you £2.00 plus delivery plus handling fee , plus a surcharge.. these con artists have been getting away with it. People need to be made aware and stop using these idiots that are making an absolute fortune??

After getting home from picking up of food to discover a missing main meal. After having to drive back to collect again. Was discusted with the rushed together curry tasted gross. Whole takeaway was over priced and rubbish! So disapointed.

Tasty. Couldn’t fault it! Crispy pork balls, tender ribs, plump prawn toast, delicious gyoza, yummy chow mein. Would order more often if delivery and bag charge wasn’t almost £5! Understand fuel charge hikes but £4.60 fee for 0.7 mile delivery is crazy. Would collect if we could to save £ but not possible unfortunately.

Our food was delivered early, which was great, but then when we were unpacking the delivery we noticed that the seaweed hadn't arrived. I rang the restaurant and they apologised and delivered it a short while afterwards.....I'm not usually someone eho complains, but the seaweed arrived stone cold so we barely ate any of it. The prawn crackers weren't that tasty either, they were quite chewy - the seaweed and prawn crackers weren't worth the prices I paid for them. The rest of the order was tasty and warm, so we enjoyed that part.

I’ve ordered from this Chinese for four years and today was the first time I didn’t feel it was worth the money. Shredded chicken tasted odd and was over fried. Hong Kong chicken bland literally chicken and bean sprouts. Real shame
