80 mins to arrive and was stone cold when it arrived. The prawn crackers were stale and definitely not fresh

food good as usual, only downside was we ordered for 8.30 as we were out but it arrived at 8. luckily for us we had just got back. what would have happened if we weren't back on time. we order for a certain time for a reason

I've used this take away loads of times but tonight the chicken fried rice just had a really strong pepper taste won't be using again

Food was pretty terrible. Special fried rice was boiled, no sauce, dry as a bone. Battered chicken balls were battered bland chicken strips, sweet and sour sauce was low budget. Delivery was early which was great, food arrived hot, driver was courteous and polite.

The food is normally 10/10 but the chips were undercooked , the beef was chewy and the curry sauce was runny

Order came wrong but still enjoyable

A hour and a half for delivery is too long and with the food being warm at best justifying the value is proving difficult

Disgusting!! Waited 2 and a half hours and was foul! Asked for a refund and was told they would replace next time! I've ordered at least twice a week and disappointed at there response to my complaint. Will never order again.and says.it all for a regular customer.

Food arrived very early which was great and still hot and fresh. That’s where the good things ends. To be honest the food was appalling, rice was over cooked to a mush the noddles looked like scraps from the floor. The flavours were poor. All in all not good. Highly unlikely I’ll be back.

First time ordering - arrived early and hot. I’ve had chicken chow main and it’s been delicious. Will be ordering again definitely!!

Every time we order there is a new excuse as to why it’s so late . Over two hours this time and over numerous calls to chase it from the initial 40 min quote and every time It will be five mins . An honest “it will be two hours “ would at least let us make other plans .

70 minute wait displayed, but arrived 40 minutes late. Food was bland and didn't have any flavour. Not something I'd recommend or be in a rush to order again.

I just received my Chinese from the great Wall chinese, the chips were like cardboard, the prawns were awful just really chewable hard to chew you never get the 3 that is advertised, onion rings cold, the meat was warm and very chewable then to top it all a hair found in the meal, Steve.

My delivery was 3.5 hours late, called twice and was told it was out for delivery both times yet it still didn't arrive for over an hour despite the restaurant being 5 miles away! Food was ok, chicken fried rice quite dry but crispy duck was good.

Second chance ordering from here, food wasn't great last time. Didn't even turn up this time!!!! No answer when we called the restaurant. Don't waste your money. Have contacted Just Eat for a full refund. Useless.

Still not recieved my order, ordered at 6pm

My salt and pepper chips was very soggy. My crispy chicken in OK sauce was not crispy, over cooked, chewy. I ended up throwing most of my tea and have gone without. I wasn’t happy with my meal at all.

Always liked Great Wall - never had a bad meal and any issues (rarely happened) have been resolved very quickly. 🙂

Duck had bones Food was late by over an hour I was told the drivers coulent get to us due to fog after the smallest amount of fog I then collected myself Didn't say anything about the delivery charge I found a bone in my daughters duck My food was cold it was clumpy and sweet and sour was all gluppy as been sat on the side !!! 49 pound later I complained and told if I re order and try again they will do better just very busy Just tried calling as was told I would still lay 29 pound !!!! Absolute joke Get a refund immediately because they don't stick to there word

It wasn't delivered we had to go collect it ! Because there was a small amount of fog Food was just rushed and not nice at all Which is a shame because I do usually get my Chinese from here but won't be again Reception was so rude !!! I told her there was a bone in my daughters duck and she said well we cook it on a bone so you'll have to take that on the chin wont you Which is just not the way to speak to customers especially after I'd said we where happy to collect if they where struggling. What a shame ...

Great food! Delivery took a long time.

So far I’ve waited 2 hours for this delivery and it’s still not here I’ve phoned the takeaway and they said he has 3 to do before mine that’s an absolute disgrace won’t be using again!!!!

Delivery was early however two items was wrong and delivery instructions was not carried out. I had to go up the shop as I wanted the correct order. When I noticed 1 item was wrong I rang them to get told they wouldn’t do anything and I had to leave a note on my next order. Far from happy with the customer service from who I spoke to on phone but amazing lady who I spoke to when I went up (not the rude person from phone).

I'm shocked at the reviews for here, iv always had great food it's always hot and tasty. I collect and it's normally ready in 20 mins

Item missing other than food was alright

Delivery was very late, food was Luke warm and no apology from driver. Tried calling to see where food was and there was no answer.

You sent a pot of sweet and sour sauce in stead of SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN!! What good is that for someone coming home late at night who’s hungry??

Prawn crackers were awful, no taste and very fatty

Took 2 hour and 20 mins for x2 rice, chips and noodles. When it arrived it was cold, couldn’t eat the chips they were cold and horrible! Prices are high but definitely not worth it.

Was really nice ordered c/s soup and chicken chow mein. Lots of flavour , good portion size.

Chicken with black beans was really good but the salt and pepper ribs had no meat mostly just batter!

Literally always an item missing, just eat refuse to compensate and the restaurant won’t do anything either apart from sending the missing item out but “it will be a while”… whilst the rest of it goes cold… awful customer service.

Very salty, chips not the best and some bits of chicken very chewy. Could focus more on quality rather than large quantity provided

Rice was sticky and all clumped together?Crispy beef wasn’t crispy it was chewy couldn’t even swallow it and got more onions than beef! I ordered beef not a portion of onions

Every time I’ve ordered it’s stated it’s arrived when it hasnt. Each time I ring they blame the app or come up with an issue surrounding delivery drivers. Each time it’s been 30mins-1hour late with no apology then stating my food is still cooking. It’s disappointing when this is my fave Chinese in the area that this keeps happening.

Normally love great wall but tonight's was terrible!! Curry no taste at all... no meat in it ! No pork no duck 1 prawn.... disappointed to say the least. Not sure what's gone wrong tonight but it was less than meadeocre! .

Duck was weird, must be bought in as not like any duck iv ordered before. The salt and pepper chips I just throw out as was soggy. Ordered crispy chilli beef that had no sauce…….makes no sense. Overall won’t order again. Very poor.

Food not hot at all. Arrived late by 35 minutes as I requested a 7.30pm delivery but it arrived at 8.05pm. No apology at all from the driver, barely cracked a smile. Sorry, but I won't be ordering from Great Wall again. Very disappointed that the food is not hot, as Great Wall is only 15 minutes drive from my home. If you can't honour a requested delivery time, don't have it as an option.

The chow mein was quite disappointing. There were literally 3 prawns and 3 tiny strips of chicken in it. For £7.30 it wasn’t very good or value for money. I normally really like the did you deliver but wanted to give you feedback on this

We would like a full refund for this order. 2 main dishes and 1 rice were missing from the order so we fist had to share what little food there was. I tried to call the shop but it wouldn't allow calls for some reason. We tried the food and after maybe 4 mouthful we couldn't eat anymore! It was dry, cold and tasteless! The special rice have very little meat and only a few chewy prawns. The chips were clearly warmed up from another day. Over £50 of my husband's hard earned money just put in the bin. We will never order again and want a full refund.

Food was tasteless compared to normal, noodles totally unflavoured, BBQ sauce also very poor. Not sure if it’s changed hands? No prawn crackers delivered unlike normal.

Worst take away I have ever eaten. The food was tasteless. The chicken bites were tough and dry and the prawn fried rice was tasteless with four rubbery prawns.

It was cold and not very appetising

I love food from here but tonight's order of special fried rice might as well have been egg fried rice. Not up to the usual high standard! 99% rice & very little else. It won't put me off ordering, but take heed. Don't try to scrimp! It will come back to bite you

Worst Chinese food I've ever had.

Food is always wonderful from here the only thing I don’t like are the chips we have ordered them twice now and they are not the greatest but the rest of the food is lovely
