Booked and paid in August for a baby shower in November. THREE days before the baby shower the owner contacted us to say he’d double booked us and although WE booked first he was honouring the other booking and could no longer accommodate us. AVOID.

Been to have food so many times and it was as good as always . Today went and the lady that served us was rude and as she was to everybody , my friend and I were so disgusted and upset how she treated a disabled lady in a wheelchair and if I had been her I would of gone home and cried !!! . Then a gentleman came in and had a puppy with him on his lap feeding him a biscuit which he licked from table ! When they went she never even cleaned the table ( I felt sick for the people that sat their after ) we spent nearly £ 30 and sadly will not be returning .

Have been here several times for breakfast with a friend with no issues. Today would be my last visit I'm afraid. Very rude waitress, asked to swap the jug of milk and something was floating in it to which it was banged down in the table. Man came in with puppy which he had on his knee with puppy licking the table to which wasn't wiped before next customer sat they're. The final straw today was the total disregard to a disabled lady in a chair, her carer moved a table to allow her to get in the cafe, waitress was very rude saying she could stay there as long as the door opened. No help to locate a more suitable place for her. I was so embarrassed for the lady, the carer commented how rude the waitress was

Awful customer service, extremely rude and unprofessional! Simply made a query to get clarification on a booking i made & they’ve hurled abuse at me and blocked me, yet kept my deposit. Clearly don’t know how to run a business or speak to people like humans. No remorse or apology for upsetting a pregnant woman

Arrived at 11.55 asked for a menu given one white piece of paper between all of us, then asked for more so given two more pieces of paper. Asked to order said they were short of two staff - so had to wait, so we waited and waited on a hot day without even the offer of a drink 40 minutes later one of us feeling ill they a few went to Hoist down the road to see if there was a table - the staff continued to walk past us and ignore us - telephoned to say there was a table so we got up and walked out, nobody asked why? and nobody offered to serve us after 45 minutes sitting there on a hot day When we arrived at Hoist they imediately bought of jug of tap water and glasses to the table, then we had drinks within 5 minutes and food within 10 which was delicious. Extremely friendly service.

Really disappointed, no music or Christmas atmosphere for a festive tea. Also not value for money, although food was nice, left feeling hungry. Only got one cup of tea in price which was expensive and had to pay extra for another one. Then price also increased from booking, and the member of staff not customer friendly. Cost £40 for 2 people. Wish we had gone somewhere else. Sorry to say would not return or recommend. :(

Previously ate breakfast at Graze then found out they are now open for Sunday lunch so we decided to give it a try. There was a choice of beef, pork or chicken (or all three) and I had chicken and my wife had beef. The meal was stunning. Well cooked meat with a Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes, a good selection of fresh vegetables and cauliflower and broccoli cheese. Everything was cooked to perfection. All that and reasonably priced. Jamie and the staff should be proud of the food and service they provide.

We had a family Christmas meal for 10 people… fantastic food… The Venison Stew was lovely, as was the starters.. service impeccable… staff very friendly… my 7 year son, who’s particular about his sausages - ate them all… the menu has a good choice of dishes , while being different from the normal pub grub that’s around… can’t fault the food… we’ll be back…

I have been here before and the staff were nice. The food was nice. The surroundings are nice. However, on our way home from Leicester we popped in. And bearing in mind that it states the food is available all day it wasn’t. Eventually after being ignored by one member of staff, who then suggested a few times to another that we were stood at the door, somebody came to see. We asked if we could have a table, and the immediate response was “breakfast is finished!” in a turse way. I advised that, I didn’t want breakfast and could I have something else? The response was “the kitchen is shut. You will need to wait for about an hour!” Not the kind of response or attitude I would’ve expected, having been there before. We decided to leave and go somewhere else, but not until after asking them where their Disability Parking Spaces are? because they aren’t apparent. I had a lot of trouble trying to park in a space where I could physically get out of the car door. A review of Google Maps showed that they are outside the hotel section. Which I know would be a long walk or wheel to get to the restaurant, for someone with mobility issues. Personally, I won’t be stopping there again and previously I’ve been there five times. Possible Improvements: customer focus training for all customer facing staff. Old, grey, on crutches does not mean that we don’t matter.

Went for Christmas dinner Soup cold, no Brussels, no peas, presentation off food awful. Roast potatoes the size of a small marble. Got chucked off table without having fourth course, as they took too long between first and second course therefore making them late for second sitting. Avoid
