Can't always get veg that I need have to shop elsewhere that's a bit of a pain.

This was our first stop after we arrived in Herne Bay. Food was delicious and way bigger than we expected. Top scores for quality and quantity. The outside space is beautiful and big. Absolutely loved lunch here! ❤️

This place is great for cocktails or if you are planning a birthday party / hen do. Haven’t tried the food so can’t comment on that but we came while there was a hen party and it was too loud for me. But I also wasn’t best pleased with the service from the staff they were a bit scattered and one of the ladies took control, she just wasn’t very welcoming. Plus the food is very pricey.

Absolutely amazing! Staff were extremely friendly, food was delicious, and the cocktails were some of the best i’ve had. I’m only in Herne bay once a year to visit with my girlfriend, and I can guarantee we will be back again.

Went for dinner and to listen to live music ! Music cancelled. Staff to busy chatting and eating Chinese a few tables away. Strong bleach smell through main course while mopping was done 😬 staff vaping on shift no manager to be seen

Fabulous second visit to this hidden gem - great service from Maddison and friendly welcome from the manager - it would be even more popular if the signage on the gorgeous restaurant was better - highly recommend

Food is delicious( turkish style), nice selection of drinks, we did wait quite long, because of a mixup by the cook,( we were the only ones in there though ). Overall, we will visit again, and prices are affordable for a family of 4.

Food was absolutely delicious. Ordered a takeaway and a mix up with the drivers meant we got the wrong order. The restaurant were brilliant about sorting it out. Shout out to Chris and Zoey for their help. Fantastic meal. Great kebabs and wraps and will be back again.

Couldn't fault it, service was great with a very friendly waiter. Restaurant decor was really nice. Food was lovely, massive sharing platter which easily fed 2 adults and our 3 year old. We will be back, thank you.

What an amazing night at the grapevine last night. Had many nights here, but yesterday my friends arranged a surprise 'hen-do' and had booked a table of 12 at the Grapevine. Im not usually one to write reviews, but the hospitality was second to none, so they well and truly deserve a mention. The girls who looked after us were so attentive and couldn't do enough for not only our hen party but everyone in the restaurant. They are a huge credit to the grapevine and know how to please their customers and attend to their every need. They interacted with all customers and even joined in with some singing dancing and made it such a lovely, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere. At one point, the staff put on our hen party's masks (mine and my husband to be faces) and came over to the table all singing Bruno Mars with with a complimentary shot and sparklers They sure know how to get a crowd going and keep them going! Keep it up girls, you made our night! We will all be back! Thank you all so much. Xx

Good place for a quiet drink on a busy Sunday afternoon.

We had lunch here last week, sat outside in the sunshine & had a really fabulous meal. Lamb Iskender for me and chicken shish for my husband. My husband is gluten free and the menu was clearly marked with allergens. The food was delicious & service was really good too. Definitely a lovely spot for lunch😁

Great evening out, food was amazing, staff were friendly, even opened the roof when they could see we were hot, would recommend.

Off the cuff evening meal with my wife Jackie at The grapevine, Didn't book and was offered a table immediately, drinks came along very quick and order taken, brilliant service by both poppy and another girl, thank you both.x Food was delicious and had free entertainment with Ashley the mind reader, he sat and done an amazing card trick which I'm still trying to work out how the hell he done it ! very very ggood.Hope ill get time to return in the very near future. Went here for our friend 50th what a great place full of fun energy & atmosphere, food was great as was our cocktail tree & even the staff come out to sing Happy birthday to everybody who had a birthday on the eve , definitely go back again , our waitress was fab , only criticism is was that later on in the eve the music was getting louder so we found ourselves shouting, but great eve !

Fancy interior and unique vibe. The place do nice cocktails and decent food. Is fairly expensive but worth the price. Staff are friendly and helpful 🥹 thank you grapevine

The food was ok but not as good as I was expecting. The ambience was good, but it took a while to get served. Sadly, there was not much knowledge of the menu offered in terms of allergens or meat. The manageress tried to help and it turned out that there were in fact very few vegetarian options. We were surprised to discover that not even the chips or the halloumi burger were vegetarian, as they were all cooked in the same fryer and oil as the meat had been. On the plus side, the cocktail was delicious.

Last night was absolutely brilliant they had Ashley Green the mind reader there and that was the first time I had seen what he did in real life and I was honestly really confused and still trying to figure it out. But I had a really good time thank you all.

Such a shame as we always used to come here but it appears to have gone down hill since our last visit. We were met by a stand offish waitress upon entry who seemed hesitant to seat us despite having a booking. We were given a table in the middle of the courtyard right next to the speaker (they had some live music on) so I politely asked one of the staff if we could move to one of the other free tables as my dad is hard of hearing and we were struggling to communicate. We were told this was fine so we moved to a table in the corner, we ordered our drinks and then the original waitress came over and said we could not just move to another table, even though I explained I had asked a member of staff who said it was fine. She was very rude, not very apologetic at all seen as it was their mistake. By now our original table was taken so we were moved to a table near the bar (I mean we were practically sitting in the bar and could hear members of staff arguing inside... not great) The depressing view of the run down buildings just added to the entire experience along with the awful watery cocktails we had, we were put off ordering food and won't be returning again.

Was very disappointed as expected as good food and atmosphere as their sister company ala turka!food was bland and small portions for the expensive price and the view looking up at the most depressing housing block was awful !staff not very attentive and in general would never return!!

Expensive for what it is but a good atmosphere and food is pretty good.

Went for lunch as a solo diner. My drinks order was taken and delivered, but then I was ignored while food and drink was served to another table that arrived after me. I finally got the attention of a waitress, as she was taking an order from another table that had arrived after me, but twenty minutes later still no food - I'd ordered a chicken wrap! I can't comment on the food as after 50 minutes I hadn't had any. I will book for my evening party of 8 elsewhere.

Like place, nice to get out but just feel ripped off. They added beers to our bill, so check your bill. But also meat quality poor for what you pay. 55 quid for a sharing platter but full of low quality meat wings, ribs (chewy), meat balls and chips.. .barely enough for two... just not value for money.

Good service nice food will go again

The basement has a large garden area, that’s covered and has heaters for the winter. The 2000s playlist was a bit loud and out of place. Meat was very tender, and whilst the dishes were all good and polished off, the sauces and meat lacked depth of flavour. It was also a bit of a laborious ordering process, despite all the ingredients listed for each dish and drink, we were asked too many questions about substituting or swapping items. The menu is good - let customers ask if they want to make changes! Good gin and tonic list, but disappointing that instead of grapefruit listed a lemon, lime and orange were all thrown in!

Went to grapevines afternoon bottomless brunch £29.99 and was absolutely amazing. Cold glass of Prosecco waiting when I arrived before being shown to table. 3 gorgeous dishes from the menu and to say my glass was never empty was an underestimation. Very attentive staff great atmosphere and brilliant price. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a bottomless prosecco brunch!

More of a summer venue really, was seated by the bottom of the stairs, bit cold

Excellent place to go for evening meal and drinks. We were lucky enough to get a reservation as it was clearly very popular. You could see why with friendly staff, great food and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit.

Mid week lunch, wow, a real surprise, wasn't going to go in at first as we were just passing and didn't alook all that exciting. We hadn't expected to get a taste and feel of being abroad in Herne Bay. Do not pass by, go in I guarantee you'll be blown away, great atmosphere not too mention fine food a good choice of drinks, cocktails, etc. Friendly staff rounded off a nice lunch, thanks Poppy for looking after us. Great job Amet on creating such a wonderful place.

Nice and homely feel to this restaurant. Service good. Reasonably priced. Nice garden out the back. Atmosphere here tonight was buzzing. Three birthdays, a hen party and dancing in the isles.

Came here for the first time after being told multiple times that we need to try it. Came in for my wife's birthday. Food was nice. Don't get me wrong but was not as good as Alla turka Nice layout, cocktails were decent but the beer was flat. Overall a very enjoyable meal. However I wouldn't be coming back because I would rather go to Alla Turka. Just overall better experience, better vibes and better meat and dishes. But still this is a fairly nice place to eat!

Lovely place, unfortunately there did not appear to be wheelchair access. The food was fantastic and staff were very friendly. The cocktail trees are a must to add fun to the party. For what you get food wise, it's good value for money. Will definitely be going back. One down side, music was very loud & difficult to talk over it. But overall a great place to visit.

Food was dreadful. Burger was tough and chewy with zero flavour. Completely inedible. The vegetarian burger was basically battered mashed potato. Mixed up the wrong plates and gave my partner the meat burger when she's vegetarian. Atmosphere can be good when drinking, but attention to the food needs to be addressed if I'm honest. Staff are very nice though.

Hidden gem, well worth the visit 👍fantastic garden room with sealed roof and great heating decorated in a homely turkish style. Meze platters are great for sharing as are the cocktail trees.
