We had tapas, piza and pasta. All was lovely, service with a smile and very helpful staff. Very pleasant atmosphere.

Staff were welcoming, attentive and helpful. The food - starters and pizzas, were of excellent quality but in very generous and good value amounts. Fortunately, a takeaway box was provided enabling a further excellent lunch the next day!!! The beer was superb. Prices were very good. In all, we enjoyed an extremely pleasant night out.

Saturday evening 18.00, two starving grandkids and myself and my son needed a quick fix. Called in on the off-chance we might get squeezed in. Brilliant staff response, we got "squeezed" into a corner table complete with two sofas, our smiling server sorted out the drinks and took our order with five minutes despite the place being jam packed. Pizzas and Italian meatballs arrived within ten minutes and very good they were too! We are going again soon but this time we will make reservations. Good job guys and thanks for the quite brilliant service.

Went to Grants this afternoon for a Christmas catch up with a friend; was surprised at how quiet the place was! We were the only ones eating, few people sat around the bar drinking, wasn’t much of an atmosphere but still nice Sat down for a while and nobody came to take our order, so went to the bar to order and had our drinks brought over to our table. Food didn’t take long to arrive, I had the dough balls to start, was disappointed with those really, they were burnt and dry which was a shame. Then our pasta and tomato garlic bread arrived, pasta was lovely but more sauce than actual pasta and the tomato garlic bread was best, always my favorite thing to offer Just a shame the place was so quiet and it was cold too! Christmas songs in the background was lovely to hear though and me and my friend had a nice time and a cat I up! We’ll be back, we always do!

Lovely food all freshly prepared. We went on a quiet Tuesday night, waitress was accommodating and really polite, just a shame our plates weren't cleared and weren't offered desserts. We have been in the past for just drinks and the selction of craft ale is great and really stands out in the local area. Would definitely return.

Visit this place very frequently the food and beers are lovely. Pizzas 🍕 made in proper pizza oven are delicious. Special mention to Aimee and Chloe who are always fantastic.

From the minute we entered grants we received poor customer service, we waited a long time for someone to attend our table, the lady said she could not take our order at the bar as she had not started her shift. She did eventually accept our order, it took ages to order food, another lady was so busy drying glasses she forgot about us yet another very frosty barmaid with an attitude, you would of thought customer service would be first and foremost right now. We spent £96 not a tenner and no one even took my main course plate away, we were told we could not have ice cream with our brownie only cream so we had to order ice cream to go with the brownies at £4.95 and we went to the bar four times to ask about the dessert. Not once were we asked if we enjoyed the meal, everything g was too much trouble for this staff member. I was told she even laughed at us after we asked about the desserts, really!! It was a catalogue of problems but we did hear her ask if things were ok at another table but not ours. She was obviously annoyed as we asked so many questions about the brownies. It was terrible and as a boss on a works meal to thank my staff I can tell you she would not be working for me so if you are the boss look at your cctv and see for yourself. It was terrible service no gkk look added were collected, our dishes and cups left plus my main course plate but nice food but I will not be coming back. I took my plate to the bar with the payment for my bill to prove a point and to say how much we had enjoyed it (not) and they shouted bye whilst laughing so yes very childish indeed. Is this how you treat your customers? We did nothing wrong yet this is how we were treated so I would say go somewhere who value you as a customer.

This is not the first time I have written a review for Grant's Bar but this place never fails to impress. It was a birthday celebration for my Son and Granddaughter and there was 11 family members for meals. After a couple of drinks the food was served promptly and everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff are professional and attentive and the whole experience and atmosphere is superb. Thanks to Justin and Amy and the staff for looking after us so well. This continues to be the Best Bar in Accrington. Keep up the good work Guy's

My wife and I went for a date night, the fist since lock down. we ordered a large pizza and a side of Mac & Cheese (bit surprised they don't serve chips). The food arrived quickly and it was piping hot, fresh and delicious. The meal was excellent. The home made cider was really good, it is still and comes in so many flavors. Definitely be going back.

Booked here just for a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon. Very busy but covid guidelines being followed. Food as always was spot on, the pizza here is fantastic. However there were insufficient staff to cope with how busy it was. They were running around after everyone and there were a couple of tables of six in. We had to wait over 10 mins for our drinks on arrival and pretty much the same when we eventuallu got to re-order.

First time in here since we came out of lockdown and as usual it was brilliant. The food here is delicious and the service and atmosphere are wonderful. Special mention to Aimee who as always does a brilliant job!!

On the recomendation of some friends we visited Grants just to try out their menu. They have a big choice of ales from their own brewery and the wood fired pizza oven can be seen from the bar area. Stick to the specials and you will not be disapointed. Dont forget to check the food serving times before you turn up. 5 until 7pm midweek.

I went to the bar last week as part of a large group, at the point of arrival the bar was quite empty and so you would think they would be appreciative of a large group! However the staff loudly discussed how they were annoyed as they wouldn’t get home early, were rude to the customers and weren’t welcoming at all!

I think Grant should have a gluten-free pasta option on the menu is there as well as gluten-free pizzas this will help customers in Accrington you I’ve got gluten free I can’t have wheat to eat help have proper food with the needs of the close gluten free needs

Visited with a friend for lunch, both had pizza, shared a garlic bread and a bottle of wine and ended with coffee. Fantastic freshly cooked food, service with a smile. Our second visit, will have no hesitation to return. Loved it 100%, try it and see for yourself.

Great beer, great food and great staff. This is the best food in town and possibly tbe best Italian food in the county. The value is astonishing. P.S. I'm gluten free and the pizza is great.

I wasn't really going to eat but I was out with friends and we were going for cocktails afterwards so get a lining. I had the meatball combo which was delicious, my friends had starter mac n cheese she was very impressed and I can't remember what the others had but it looked fab. Lovely surroundings and reasonably priced. I'd go again

Family of 8 all enjoyed the food here, they have a great selection of Italian food and reasonably priced to, we have been numerous times for meals and just for drinks and have never been disappointed, best Italian food around our area and the best choice of drinks too with plenty of real ale and premium lagers to choose from, only downside is that it does take a while to get served when purchasing drinks.

Dinner on a busy Friday evening. Slow service and it would be profitable for them to have a waiter for the diners. However: the food was so superb we’ll be back at a quieter time. Reeeeally good pizza

Recently moved to the area and live not far from Grants. Have been dying to try it as it’s always busy when I drive past. Visited twice in the past month and both times were a pleasure.

I do remember when this bar wasn't nearly this nice. Major improved since the last time I was home. Good selection of Ales and, more importantly, ciders. Friendly staff. Dodgy wifi meant I couldn't pay with card but hardly the staffs fault!

Great atmosphere and real home brew ale great pizza too. Good town centre location. Parking is OK and easy walk to other pubs.

Grants was recommended to us and looks so welcoming whenever we passed. The homemade pizzas here are among the best we’ve ever had and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Called in Sunday evening for a family meal for 8 of us. Given a nice big table in the corner, great selection on menu mix of pasta and pizza. All food served together by cheery waitress food was great and reasonably priced.

This is a great place to catch a pizza after work, well that works for me there is a great selection of food available and all cooked in front of you in a log fired pizza oven meat balls are awesome

You will have to have a big appetite for one of their pizzas. There's a big range. The pasta dishes did not seem as interesting as there's a shortage of vegetables. The beer is fantastic. Choose from the one brewed behind the bar and you won't be disappointed.

We have been here a few times for drinks, which have always been great and fantastic prices. We went for lunch here yesterday and had an amazing, freshly made pizza. Cannot recommend this place enough, the staff are lovely and friendly and it has a really nice welcoming atmosphere.

Love this place, absolutely the best place in Accrington and much of the surrounding towns. Beer brewed on site, the Pals ale is superb. Food is outstanding, pizzas and meatballs. Great value for money, really smart decor, clean, excellent friendly service. If you're not local it's worth travelling to visit.

I have become aware of Grants recently and tried them out with my children. Everything was really great. Atmosphere, service and food all 1st class. It’s now on the regular list.

Travelled up from London at 5am to carry out some work on the way to watch our team play Accrington Stanley. We had a couple of hours to kill before the game and needed to grab a quick change of clothes, food and a drink. After driving round not fancying anywhere we saw within a 5 mile radius, we stumbled access Grants. Easy to park on arrival, lovely welcome by bar maid, good pint of guiness, nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc. ‘Quick change’ in the spotless and modern toilets followed by fantastic food. My pizza was lovely, my husband said his spag bol was great and that’s his favourite dish so it must have been good! My friends carbonara hit the spot too and she’s a ‘bit picky’! Nothing was too much trouble. I can only assume it was the owner that came to chat to us a bit later and made us feel most welcome. All employees we spoke to are a credit to Grants. The decor was very nice too. Would highly recommend this place. See you next year if we manage to stay in League 1

Found this place whilst on a trip to football at Accrington. Very welcoming staff and friendly customers. Food was brilliant especially the home made pizzas. Definitely recommend.

This is the 5th or 6th time that we have visited, the food is superb, the staff are exceptional and the choice of gin is amazing. I would recommend this place to anybody.

Visiting Accrington as an away football supporter and on the train recommended Grants as the venue to visit. The Oldham football supporter wasn't wrong. Fantastic, excellent and superb in all departments. Big Clock ale brewed on site is unbelievable. All good and I sampled plenty. For me the Ruby 100 is by far the best but at 5.3, it will not be for all. That said, plenty of options for all, so support it one and all. Return later to eat and drink before return home. Result although important, this will be an excellent end to a grand day out.

The food in here is amazing, the service is amazing and I can’t fault the place. The staff are fantastic always have a smile for you even when they’re ran off their feet. By far the best pub in Accrington and the best pizza for miles

I used to run this when it was just a pub (Muldoons) in 1998.

Lovely staff and good drinks selection here. We went on a busy Thursday evening and it remained busy from 7 - 11pm. The food was a little slow to come and starter and main arrived together but the pizza was very good and cooked in a huge wood-fired oven visible from the bar. Clean, spacious inside and a few tables outside are nice to sit on in summer.

We tend to go in occasionally for a quiet drink and then leave but we never do, the atmosphere is brilliant as are the staff so we end up staying a lot longer!!! 😊😊😊

Before a wedding we needed somewhere for pre-drinks and some food

We have been visiting this pub regularly on a Sunday for a few years and have wondered why food was not offered. Recently a wood fired pizza oven has been installed and the pizzas on offer are fantastic and good value for money. Also this is a micro brewery offering a good range of craft beers at affordable prices. The only thing spoiling our visits at the weekend are the very young children/babies that are often crying which does tend to spoil the whole ambience of this more adult themed pub. I guess there is nothing the management/owners can do although we do notice no kids menu is offered which does give the impression this pub is ideally intended to be a more adult type of venue.

the big clock brewery are based here and thats a reason to visit in its own right but now they have started making pizzas, meatballs etc in their own wood fired pizza oven,

Grants is a local venue for us and has just started doing pizzas, myself And my husband along with our daughter and partner went last night to try them out and although I'm not normally a great fan of pizzas I have to say they they were the best we all have ever had thin & crispy with lots of toppings we also had meatballs and garlic mushrooms which were also fabulous.

When we entered I was pleasantly surprised at what this traditional looking pub offered. True to its roots there is an extensive bar with a vast selection of ales, larger ciders on draft. In addition there is a full blown micro brewery on display, of curse some of the produce is available at the bar. With the contacts from this extra business adventure probably explaining such a vast choice of real ales and draft ciders. Then in addition there is a full blown pizza oven which was on the go.

This is also a micro brewery which is visible from the pub and very interesting. Whilst stocking he usual local brews and a fantastic range of ciders they have a very large range of own brews that are fantastic and very reasonably priced.the introduction recently of a wood fired pizza oven and a lovey menu has enhanced this bar enormously. A stylish bar on the outskirts of town. There is a great choice of alcoholic drinks to choose from. If I could say one thing I would like the music a little louder to add to the atmosphere.

Grants is one of the more mature bars in Accrington, it attracts a lot of decent people and has great drinks on tap as well as home-brews.

Whether you like real ale or lager, Grants is well worth a visit. A smart micro brewery awaits you along with a lovely blend a friendly locals, good chat, luxurious surroundings and plenty of laughter. If you visit the town, this place is worth a visit - trust me.

Stands out in Accrington as the bar where the surroundings are nicer, the seats more comfortable, the service better, the toilets spotless - in general all-round better experience than others in the area.

A great place to stop for a drink with the family. It has comfortable seating and a very friendly ambience. It is a brew pub so it is interesting to try the beers.

This public house has its own brewery situated behind the bar, in the present climate of bars shutting, all you can do is admire who invested in a site so close to a struggling town centre, however, they run possibly the only pub your wife would join you in after work or for a evening drink. Yes I am sounding a snob because I would not take my wife into some of the smelly filthy dumps I frequent occasionally with my male friends in Lancashire. This is a place where like minded people meet, they want to drink, talk and enjoy their night out, without anything or anyone trying to spoil it.

My grandson has been having trials with the famous Accrington Stanley Football Club (well slightly famous) so I have slopped off for an evening pint to this nearby town centre pub/bar/function venue. It looks inviting from outside and lives up to its promise. For me and some of the locals present it was a pub - sit at the bar having a pint of Grant's own Big Clock brewery beers and a chat - for others it was a bar to try top-of-the-range Monkey 47 gin. I had no reason to see the upstairs function rooms but they look impressive on the website.
