One of mu favourite places for brunch. Ricotta pancakes & scrambled eggs highly recommended!

Great breakfast, didn't know scrambled eggs could taste so good!

Lovely relaxed lunch with my daughter and grandson in this welcoming, bright space with views over St James's Church Garden. Generous, tasty, savoury plates and sides and a refreshing glass of Sauvignon Blanc for me. Very good wine. And was that the best chocolate cake ever for dessert? Possibly! Thank you from happy customers.

Beautiful restaurant and wanted to say a particular thanks, through no fault of theirs I ordered something accidentally I realised on its arrival I couldn't eat due to it being a risk during pregnancy and they offered a replacement or to not charge me for that item. Was excellent customer service as was my fault not theirs. Would love to return one day.

Very slow service even with only 3 other groups they managed to forget 1 out of 4 of our dishes. Took them ages to bring our food. Food was standard/good Coffee was subpar It’s an easy choice for Sunday brunch but nothing special

The restaurant is beautiful and the general atmosphere is wonderful, especially the indoor seating on the skylights. They have scrambled eggs and toast and cheesecake with vegetables and coriander, all of which are delicious, and their service is excellent.

Best birthday brunch ever! I had a party of 17 people who joined me to celebrate my birthday. We were looked after sooooooo well by Sam and the entire team, all are so friendly, pleasant and professional which contributed to the positivity of my birthday celebration! Sam and the team made my day so special, the food was also really good and the restaurant setting is very cozy, full of light with the big windows letting the sun shine through! I can’t recommend this place enough!

Nice atmosphere, decent service. Second time coming to this branch. Matcha latte 🍵 was really yummy but was tiny for £5. Ordered the avocado toast with a poached egg and was expecting the avocado 🥑 to be smashed but it was literally two pieces of toast and avocado chunks on top, and a poached egg on the side. Quality of food seems good which is what you’d expect considering the prices. Service can be quite slow. Bill came to £78 for 3 people.

Everything was good apart from the sound. The venue really needs to improve the acoustic. Most people meet to have a business meeting and it was hard to have a conversation.

Nice Branch of the famous restaurant. Service was OK, I wasn't able to choose the table I wanted, although the restaurant was almost empty and I told the server I'm here for a quick bit to eat and coffee. I had to sit next to the noisy table instead of enjoying a quiet table on the other side of the restaurant . The food was good as always.

Extremely overpriced with not much flavour. We all ordered the beans dish (as it seemed to be the only thing reasonably priced but still £17) and it was genuinely a bowl of cannellini beans and some mint leaves on top. The manager was very helpful but otherwise the staff were slow and not very attentive. Also forgot our side order of bread which we could’ve done with considering a small portion size!

I came with my family for brunch and would throughly recommend! Lots of good vegetarian options, excellent food, and really helpful and attentive staff! Will be back!

Very good food. Expensive, but normal in London. I ordered the potato toast with poached eggs and fish, incredible. It gave 160 pounds for 4 people. The dishes are in the photos. It takes a long time to serve.

Tucked away in the gorgeous Clerkenwell is this little gem with strong vegetarian/Vegan options. I went here on a business meeting with three others and we ordered: - Veggie Aussie breakfast - Aussie breakfast (non vg) - Plant based tofu coconut curry with brown rice - Potato Spinach Feta rostis with eggs The food quality is superior and the ingredients are fresh. We requested scrambled eggs instead of poached eggs on the rostis and they did magic with the scrambled eggs - great texture and the amount of detail that goes into their plates was incredible. The staff was super attentive and the place is relevant for all things - business meals, meal out with kids, girls brunch. It has a great vibe and even though the portion sizes are generous, you wouldn't feel as if the food is sending you into a comatose! Great find! Thank you Granger & Co, I will be back again for sure.

Had a lovely meal with dinner friends. The Cheese on Toast with Kimchi was yummy, as was my cappuccino. Everyone had something different but we all emptied our plates so I'm confident that everything they serve is delicious. Not cheap, but not excessively expensive, good service, highly recommended.

This branch’s food was a little less polished than other branches I’ve been to. My Halloumi side order in particular was very poor; it was quite rubbery as it wasn’t freshly grilled as other branches have them. The scrambled eggs were alright though but again not as fluffy and layered as other branches.

Worst meal in London I’ve had this year bar none. Truly appalling. Empty restaurant and still the slowest service you can imagine. 2 hours to receive main course. Luke warm passable food. I cannot fathom how, in a restaurant of 200 covers, a table of 10 could wait so long for cold food. Tuna was tasteless, served with five slices of wet cucumber. No bread offered. When bread came, came after starters. No butter. When butter was ordered, watched them decant some mustard into the butter dish then sent it back downstairs. When the butter turned up it was inedible. Main course - sold as ‘bowl of noodles with prawn and crab’ - no crab in sight, prawn spaghetti. More a prawn linguine akin to what you’d get in a rubbish south London Italian. £80 quid a head to go home hungry. Don’t eat here.

£15 quid for overcooked poached egg on toast with no butter and a slab of avocado.

Love this venue in busy Clerkenwell but today did not meet basic expectations. Could not have Bloody Mary, hamburger black cow vodka , or even a decaf tea as none available. You would think a Sunday lunch at 13.30 would be better equipped. Also was sat near front door so was cold and windy. Not a great experience.

Food: was nice. Ordered medium rare onglet. Came out well done. Nice but not what I ordered. Service: nice and pleasant staff. The food took long to come out. Atmosphere: very nice atmosphere. A bit of a draft from sitting by the window but a nice environment.

Ordered the schnitzel and it came with streaks of bloody bits. When I complained the waitress said that’s how it’s supposed to look like because of how they cook it but that she will ask the manager. Came back 3 minutes later saying they will make me a new one and when the new one arrived this is how it looked. Kombucha was good but won’t recommend it or come back as raw chicken can be life threatening.

Great food and a relaxing atmosphere 👌

Came here for a Saturday brunch. The wait staff was very friendly, welcoming and accommodated my friend's toddler with patience and kindness. I ordered the crab pasta which was flavoursome and the pasta was Al dente. However, the chef was not careful enough and 4 lemon seeds (which I bit into) were hiding in the pasta. My friends' curry and prawn/fish cake burger were watery and bland. For the prices they were charging, I expected the food quality to be much better. The ambience and Deco were a good touch.

They've kept it simple and achieved superb with both the décor and the menu. The food was extremely well done, with flavour, texture and presentation ticking all the boxes. Also they have a good selection of drinks to supplement the food.

It is a big place and for me a bit too noisy with lots of young people and good food and friendly service. Something different.

Not great, not terrible. Too much bread in my Halloumi egg roll, it was a burger with a fried egg actually. All my life I thought that egg roll is a rolled omelette.

Had herbal tea as I was fasting. Initial tea was lukewarm but subsequent tea was hot enough.

It was after a long time I was going back to Granger & Co (used to go to Westbourne Grove branch) - and I was excited. I was raving to my children about it, so expectations were high! Well, what a HUGE disappointment…as soon as we got there we ordered two Bloody Mary’s …they just sat at the bar for 13-15mins before I had to ask the waitress to go over and bring them to us - twice. The food we ordered was not only super bland and tasted of nothing and left us unimpressed….the chips were lukewarm/cold as if they’d just been sitting there before they were brought out to us. We asked for a carafe of wine only AGAIN after 15mins having to ask another waitress to go ask bar staff what was going on. When the waitress came and saw we’d left so much food on our plates (especially mine) she said yeah that salad bowl is really boring with zero taste, I wouldn’t choose that!!!!!! Even then there was no suggestion of taking items off the bill - which was £160.00 - NOT CHEAP! The whole experience was tiring and VERY disappointing…..what the hell happened??????? In my world Bill Granger was the king of layered flavours and fresh, good quality food and amazing service. We sure as hell won’t be going there again.

Average food, great service, great atmosphere

Absolutely love this place, I’ve been to all Granger & Cos in the city and I love the Australian food culture in here. The ricotta pancakes have been the best here for years and I also loved potato & feta rostis with hot smoked salmon 🤌🏻 amazing

As a solo diner, I was really well looked after by all the staff. They were super friendly and were attentive without being overbearing. The chicken starter I had was next level amazing and my steak was delicious (although just the tiniest bit chewy). The wine I had was very good and complimented the food beautifully. The atmosphere and vibe in the restaurant was fabulous. It was cool without being pretentious. The lighting, the music, the layout all contributed to a great ambience! At £60, I thought it was really good value given the quality of food *and* service. All in all it was an excellent eating experience!

When the waiter came I gave him my order and he asked if I would like any ham? I said no, I am a vegetarian. He promptly replied "if you are a vegetarian we are not going to be friends!" The meal was nothing special and once again this is a restaurant/cafe which charges an extortionate amount of money for simple everyday dishes and then adds 12.5% extra as service charge. The only service we received was a rude waiter who took the order and then his colleague who brought a 2 plates of food and 2 drinks to the table! Considering customers pay 20% VAT on eating out I don't see why restaurants need to charge an additional cost for service. Surely if you own a restaurant why do customers need to pay someone to bring plates to the table from the kitchen?

Don’t get me wrong, the place is nice and the atmosphere pleasant. But the food is bland and overpriced. Had the fresh aussie. Expect a mountain of tasteless boiled cabbage with poached eggs on top, sliced avocado and sliced cherry tomatoes, and a bunch of coriander. Nothing you need to go to the restaurant for… Waited forever for the hotcakes, which were fine, but curious as why we’d have to wait 30 minutes for pancakes, sliced bananas and maple syrup. We won’t be coming back.

It’s almost heartbreaking to see such an institution go down like this. I used to come here super regularly as I lived nearby and have not visited in 3-4 years. Was super excited to eat here again was thoroughly disappointed. Food has gotten worse (e.g. avocado as hard as an apple) and the portions have shrunk to an almost ridiculous size (e.g. the amount of salmon in the fresh aussie), in stark contrast to the prices that have skyrocketed. It took an hour after sitting down to get food at all. 2 items were forgotten, first a drink and then a plate. Room is obviously understaffed. Wake up guys, the empty tables are your cue. This place used to have a huge line outside.

Food was amazing! Camilla the waitress was outstanding!! We were a group of 9 people and it was a bit of a nightmare to order everything but she helped us with the language barrier too and made us feel like home. We really recommended this place and absolutely look out for her if you need anything!!!!

Flawless food with best-in-class customer service. We placed a complex order, but Simon and the team were truly exceptional. They finessed our meal with incredible speed, delivering the food to a gold-standard quality. We are beyond thankful for their help - the team was thrilled and our Granger & Co experience brightened our whole afternoon. The G&C Clerkenwell team (another shoutout to Simon!) are the type of people that really do make the world a better place ✨

I booked this place for 8 people as I had family from the US visiting. My original booking wasn't confirmed so I had to chase them via phone and email. They said I hadn't said my card details which I sent multiple times. I left voicemails, sent many emails and even went to another granger and co to seek assistance. The manager there was helpful but couldn't do anything. The food took a ridiculous amount of time to come out and other than the eggs I had which were fine, although cold, nobody really ate anything. Considering the price I was highly disappointed. I felt so bad that I didn't read the reviews here and picked such a poor restaurant for lunch.

I suggested this place for a Saturday brunch with friends because I had bern to the one in kings cross and I loved the food there. Bad idea !!!! This location has a different menu and the execution of the food is absolutely mediocre. The restaurant was half empty and it took our waitress a good half hour to get out coffees. Another 15- 20 to take our food orders and ages to come back to our table so we could ask for drinks. It’s suck a shame because the place was literally over staffed. I really don’t know why they were so slow and careless about the costumers. The food was equally disappointing. No flavor and very unpolished presentation. Obviously not coming back and not recommending it !!

Grangers and Co. has to be one of the top best brunch places in London. Perhaps even number one. The food and atmosphere are always incredible. Happy to come back all the time💗

Pleasant service and setting, and nice food, but comically small portions and astronomically high prices. It's almost like they're pushing to see what they can get away with. £11 for half a courgette deep fried in a bit of batter and £6 for a handful of almonds is more than I was able to withstand.

Went twice on the basis of good reviews (oh dear, wish I had read the ones on here) and regretted it both times! Chaotic brunch with contempt attitude. Staff very rude and dismissive. The menu looks impressive but the reality is much worse. The workers were definitely more interested in each other than in their customers. No managerial presence to convey problems. They left us waiting 1hr.15 min with a terrible service to boot. Even getting up and crossing the room to get cutlery and water refill didn't rouse management into up-ing their game, and offer to assist? They just stood by the entrance chatting like it was their day off. Shocking. I think people should just stop paying gratuity here. Have honestly no idea where they’ve found these people. Poor show. Quite a disaster given it is not cheap either. Avoid.

The Emperor's new clothes springs to mind with this place. We were greeted at the door by the rude 'hostess' with a judgemental look up and down which made us want to leave immediately. At 4:30 in the afternoon when the restaurant was empty and there were more members of the staff than guests you expect a smooth service for 2 drinks but unfortunately this didn’t happen. Need to get attention even to ask for the bill, when I managed to ask a manager, she just passed the “task” to a second member of staff which asked a third person and completely forgot. Literally in front of our eyes. We were absolutely flabbergasted. This place needs a complete management upheaval and a focus on service. The staff need some serious customer service training, we found all of them to be shockingly unpleasant and inept. If you haven’t been, don’t go. Not worth the hassle.

we ordered a starter to share and 2 mains. They all came together. Disappointed. Starter was courgette chips - PRICE has increased by more than 50% from £7.50 to a staggering £11.50 and the amount you get has halved. Whats happened there guys? Is there a courgette crisis? Fish curry was as always flawless and delicious, as was the other main - crab linguine. (shame the Chill Shrimp linguine has left the menu) Sadly the wine list has not been built at all well enough to reflect the food choices. There was not one white wine listed that offered best food pairing with the curry - which I was amazed by. Guys - please address this and pop a good quality chardonnay (french) or Pinot Blanc from Alsace on there by the glass so it can pair well with the fish curry. Thanks

Worst lunch experience in London ever. Waited 50min for lunch order. Forgot a coffee order and needed reminder. Then we're told that it wouldn't come on time for our 1h cutoff. Then had to wait 10min for refund?! Amateur hour. Not acceptable in such a location. Avoid.

A bit pricey but good spot for brunch or afternoon tea

We had the most relaxing reunion dinner at Granger and co. The first time their with our baby girl but the staff were so accommodating and couldn’t have done more to make us feel at home. granger and co never disappoints when it comes to food, service and atmosphere. This is where we had our first date, wedding meal and now first time with our new baby. Thank your Gulnar for a great evening. Great Margaret river semillion and Cabernet Sauvignon. Fantastic miso chilli salmon. Also really enjoyed the mandarin pisco sour and new pavlova with sour cherries and blackberries.

Read a number of reviews about the terrible service so we knew what we were getting into. Really rude and unprofessional team. No one ever really paid attention to us, with many pretending not to hear us calling for help. Few people eating there around us seemed to be missing food, service or a check. Meal was mediocre at best. Our main courses then hotcakes were both served while the starter plates were still on the table and we were directed to move them ourselves and make space. We’ll never go again. And I would not recommend that dreadful place to anybody.

Airy, bright and comfortable. Nice atmosphere. Delicious scrambled eggs and toast. However, coffee just so-so, which is not forgivable in a brunch place. Thin and a bitter, the taste of a machine not well cleaned.

We were regular diners pre-pandemic and the menu and service were always dependably good. Popping in on a Saturday night we were surprised to see it so quiet - even more so post-dining because it was exceptional and possibly the best meal I’ve had there. With old favourites and some new additions, both my other half and I were happy. I can highly recommend the miso grilled chalkstream trout, tiger salad and sesame tofu dressing - gorgeous stuff. We’ll be back soon!

We just ordered a simple brunch, but the flavours we're surprisingly unique and tasty, and thus it was an unexpected but pleasant experience. We will definitely go back. Not cheap. But worth it.

Very nice and vibrant atmosphere but felt the food was fairly average. I remember feeling the same way when I tried their “famous” brunch. I don’t rate it here and think there are many better places to try elsewhere. The menu is all over the place from Italian dishes to curries which is kind of weird, they don’t seem to specialise in anything. Staff was friendly, service ok. Menu doesn’t distinguish between vegetarian and vegan it seems which is odd.
