One of the best Indian takeaway I've had for ages. Chicken Tikka was excellent

Ordered on just eat 2 weeks ago short of a rice. Apparently kitchen said they put 2 in but we did only receive 1. When I called told they were really busy could they refund instead. Still waiting for refund😟 shame as enjoy the food as ordered a few times from here

Dont think they clean the beer lines. We ate there last night and had funky pints. Told the waiter, he just said ok but still charged us. We decided not to make a big deal, well just never go back.

Éramos un grupo de 4. Habíamos reservado una mesa a las 6 pm para dar un regalo de cumpleaños a un amigo, que disfruta especialmente de la cocina india. Muy decepcionante. Fuimos las primeras personas en el restaurante a las 6 pm. A pesar de eso, esperamos casi una hora por nuestra comida, mientras que la gente que entraba después de nosotros era servida, al igual que las muchas personas que venían a recoger comida para llevar. 2 de nuestra fiesta eligieron comidas Biriyani, que disfrutaron. Elegí pollo Jalfry que no era agradable - parecía ser trozos de pollo cocido, tomate y cebolla que acababan de ser puestos en una salsa - bastante poco apetitoso. El 4o miembro de nuestro partido tenía pollo Tikka Massala y hizo un comentario similar. Esta fue mi peor experiencia tanto de cocina, como de servicio, a lo largo de muchos años de comer en restaurantes indios en el Reino Unido, y otros países, incluida la India!

Pedí una entrega, no fue entrega gratuita, pero no me importó. Después de un tiempo de espera, la orden fue cancelada sin razón o advertencia. Obviamente mi pedido, de £ 30 más entrega no les interesó, no volverá a intentarlo.

Honestly the best Indian we have ever had, we have eaten here before and it's always been nice but tonight we collected our food and every single thing was full of flavour, melt in your mouth absolutely delicious. Thank you very much, we'll see you again soon.

Had a takeaway and the food was stone cold. The sauce on curry was like water. Dissopointing and I won't use this restaurant again. POOR

Tasty food, good value and friendly staff who were happy to chat and take photos. Highly recommended and lucky to have it as my local!

An awful wast of our time and money! The only positive was that it arrived in under 45 minutes! The food was disappointing. Greasy starters and small salads. Poppadoms were cold and chewy, naan over cooked and dry. Had two curries (both chicken). Both the same sauce, one looked like a tomato soup with chilli powder, the other with chilli and sugar. Chicken pieces were small, tough and clearly microwaved in the insipid sauce! The naan was dry, tasteless and overcooked…. A total waste of time!

We've been to this curry restaurant a few times and it's always been good. We went again atvthe request of my daughter, as it was her 11th birthday. When we arrived, my wife mentioned to the staff it was our daughter's birthday, thinking they might put a candle in her dessert or something. In stead half way through the meal the waiter came out and presented her with a nail polish set. Totally unexpected and going above and beyond. In addition the food was as ever good and so was the ambiance. Only reason for not giving 5 stars, was the wait for mains to arrive. Will definitely go again

We ate in this restaurant a couple of weeks ago with our friends. We were welcomed warmly , the food was very tasty ,with multiple delicious flavours. The restaurant itself was very clean and a lovely relaxing atmosphere! We have just ordered a take away tonight and it was again delicious! The guy who delivered our meal this evening was really polite. Credit to the chef, the food is absolutely! delicious! Lovely food. I really like the traditional atmosphere. Only slight gripe this time, was that the main took a while to come out. This might have been because itxwas a Friday night. Will be returning againvthough.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and tidy facilities and a good menu. Food was lovely but Lamb was a little bit too chewy. If it wasn't for that I would have given the food 5 out of 5.

Take away arrived cold and late, paid expensive price and looked cheap. Chicken strips in the mains with sauce definitely out of a frozen bag sadly not returning.

Always good food, reasonable prices and friendly service. Mainly get delivery but have also eaten in the restaurant a few times and never disappoints.

When I visited Bristol I came across this stunning curry house. They need to come to Manchester and open a restaurant. The food is without a doubt so good and the delivery is spot on! PLEASE come to Manchester 🙂

Delicious, lovely staff, wonderful decor

Haven't had food from here before, but had heard they're good so we took a chance. Lovely! I had a chicken tikka chilli masala which was beautifully cooked and took the top of my head off. Rotis were like cardboard though, so wouldn't have them again! Would definitely order from them again.

The Brinjal tasted like they had been frozen and there were no potatoes in the bhiryani. Definitely will not be ordering again.

Ordered food through just eat at 20:15 on 23/10/21 and order was accepted. Fast forward 40minutes later and they cancel it after taking payment. No got people annoyed hungry and got wait for a refund. Ridiculous. No reason for cancellation either.

Ordered off Uber eats; Underdone very tough lamb in a luminous sickly sauce and bad tasteless korma. Disappointing waste of money.

This is my regular curry house I have always had good food here

Ordered a tandoori mixed grill. Portion size is very small, only 1 piece of chicken tikka, 1 lamb tikka and 1 seekh kebab and 1 tandoori chicken, no chicken chaat or king prawn. Also no rice or naan included or curry sauce. For £12.50 id expect ALOT more. Overall it tasted fine but value for money it was not.

Terrible service. Took I hour 45 minutes to arrive. When I rang to chase, initially I got someone who couldn't speak any version if English I could understand. Eventually I got put through to someone who could speak English and he just kept lying. When it did finally arrive it was cold and had obviously been carried around with the delivery driver for over an hour. Didn't pay and wont use again

The last takeaway I’ll ever have from the “The Grand Sultan”! Very watery tarka dhal (more or less tasteless), cauliflower bhaji smelled like it was off (rotten), bland korma sauce and the nan bread was cold. The veg madras had some taste but vegetables were as usual massive chucks of potato and shredded cabbage. It’s as though they just don’t care! Sorry to leave a negative review, but honest feedback is important if customers are to be satisfied and come back.

Been a few times always good. Visit today especially so. Staff were attaintive without pestering. Good price. Everything you expect from an independant curry house really.

Had a takeaway from here for the first time. Lots of sauce in the curries but not that much chicken. The chunks of chicken had been halved to make it appear like there was more. Extremely disappointing! Won't be ordering again.

Wow!!! Seriously good food! Hands down - the best chicken tikka masala i have had in years!!! I might be seriously addicted, trying to pace myself and limit to once a week! So so sooooo good!!

I was worried when this restaurant changed hands recently, but there was no reason to be - it is still top quality Indian food at a relatively reasonable price. The menu is extensive, taking in old favourites and more unusual chef's specials and the food is well presented and beautifully cooked. The waiting staff are quick and efficient and mange to be attentive without being in your way. Overall a good night out!
