Grand Central Livingston in West Lothian

Christmas night out with a, 3 Course Meal, Drag Act, Grease/Dirty Dancing show. Last minute dot com, a Table for 2 was fitted in and made welcome. Staff were brilliant, tables cleaned floors kept clean , A well oiled machine.

Good night, great dj played the songs we asked for no probs.Staff all friendly and really nice, great night had by all.

Visited for a business function on short notice. Friendly staff and meeting room just right for our size

Visited with family and friends for a birthday party. The bar staff we dealt with were shocking, rude and to add insult to injury, we had a private function bar in our function room, sitting at the bar were friends of the bar staff. I found this unprofessional and upsetting. If guests bring alcohol as a gift, the Door Staff take it and give them a voucher so you can pick it up later. We went up a day later to pick up a bottle of Jack and guess what it was not there, they offered no reason or replacement

The food is always ready to go, however it tends to have a taste of being rushed and not warm, the chips are a hit or miss, it would be better if they had less ready and cooked to order that way its fresh and hot, the pizza side is great as this is made to order

Visited here this weekend for the first time in a few years with friends!...Reading the reviews on here and I'm not surprised that majority are bad! Bar staff look underage and the female bar staff need to crack a smile and get some training on customer service! Absolutely shocking attitude! Get some more mature and helpful bar staff!

Drinks are a bit pricy, large portions of food. The club is good for all ages however more younger which has to be expected. Close to train station to Edinburgh - bouncers very helpful and friendly. Owners a good laugh

Went for a night out with friends. Unfriendly door staff. Poor quality selection of drinks, all cheap versions and no brand names. Served in dirty glasses. Toilets were disgusting. The majority of the bar staff are all underage to be in a nightclub let alone serving behind a bar. Couldn't recommend this place to anyone for a night out, better paying a bit more and go somewhere with quality products on offer.

My friends and I attended a Norwegian exchange student's 18th birthday party and we had the worst experience ever. We spent hours getting ready, paid for a taxi and then turned up to be interrogated by a horrible man at the door. He deliberately tried to trip us up, then tried to blame us for booking the party under a 'normal party' instead of an 18th. One of the most horrible men I've come across. We only attended the party for around 2 hours until it was stopped at 9:55 due to underage drinking, which is not a first at Grand Central and has definitely been allowed there in the past. The bouncers were looking for an excuse to chuck us out the whole night, totally not acceptable. Horrific service, dreadful place - DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Had our works night out here 3/12/16 Room looked nice set up and enough room to move about freely without banging into tables behind you. Staff were pleasant and service was fast. Turkey was rather dry, and the frozen roast potatoes had been cooked in deep fat fryer resulting in being able to taste the oil(bit dirty) left a unpleasant taste in mouth. Cheesecake was very sweet. All acts on the night were good. Bar staff seemed rather busy, but with 2 other private parties on, they managed well and also were polite. Door staff were also courteous. Can't comment on nightclub as didn't go on. Would return for another function.

Had a 50th birthday party here and used their party package for 80 people. The DJ was great and the facilities were good. But, and it's a big bu,t the hot and cold finger buffet was dire. If you're going to use this make sure you supplement this with additional food as all you get is 2 quarter sandwiches, 2 small sausage rolls and 2 mini spring rolls per person. Hardly a buffet, more a small snack. Really took the edge off the party causing strees and embarrasment to my wife. Wouldn't recommend.

This place is more of a nightclub than a restaurant, i wouldn't recommend this place for a family meal far too many of the local neds coming in and getting drunk which ruins the atmosphere of the meal. Food is average and is slightly dry, lightening is horrendously dark.

Went here for a Christmas night out with my work. I was not looking forward to going to the place but highly surprised as the tables looked lovely as you walked in. I did feel they had squeezed in too many tables as we struggled to get out as it was a tight squeeze, and we are of average size 12, 14. The starters came out and the soup was good but It was far too hot as a few of us burnt our tongues. Then we were waiting for our main course when all of a sudden the waiters came and removed all the cutlery so we asked why to be told we were getting different cutlery. The turkey meal was not nice and it just didn'tt taste like turkey and the cheese cake was terrible but I am glad to say I have Christmas pudding with custard and it was fine. They say you get what you pay for and to be honest we only paid 23 or 24 pounds for a 3 course meal. We did have a good night with pulling our crackers at the table during our meal. We als has a tribute act which was aba, and they were really good. The meal was a let down so they should charge more and made sure it is fantastic. I must say it was a good night but I did leave early.

Well, what a place this is, a lively atmospheric joint in in the cultural capital of the fine county of West Lothian. It's long been the case that many a weary traveller have found Livingston a rather tardy town to navigate, not merely due to the fact that there are so many roundabouts, but should you dare to ask directions, there are many local skanks who revel in confusing said travellers by purposely giving them the wrong directions. Now after circling nearly every roundabout in the roundabout capital of roundaboutville, I found myself feeling vulnerable on a very misty night in Livi. Until, like a Phoenix rising, I chanced upon the neon lights and pumping dance music of this establishment. Now, I have always known that I might need to kiss a few frogs before finding my princess and I came to the right place! There must be a fair old tattoo trade in this town, just an observation. It's a decent menu and the drinks are good value. It's a well run establishment with good music and plenty of security, just the ticket when trying to make your exit being closely followed by a local skank who's teeth resembled sugar puffs but having spotted that my car had road tax, thought that she was on to something. Great food, great wine, great music. Females difficult to understand. Give it a go folks.

Not an eatery place as such, more of a bar/nightclub. Horrible atmosphere and the clientelle isn't the greatest either. Not cheap either.

I enjoyed the atmosphere had a bit of a buzz even although I slightly older than the usual GC client. I only had drinks in the place so cannot comment on the food.

Nice wee place to relax, have a bite to eat, grab a few drinks at good prices and have a few games of snooker. Recommend asking for upstairs as it's nice and quiet up there, or if you prefer background noise then stick to downstairs.
