So thought we would try this place. Honest opinion. Ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken bhuna, roti, rice, chips with masala sauce and coriander. So the food isnt nothing like anywhere else in witney. The masala doesn’t taste like a masala in the slightest, although tasted ok. The bhuna was again nothing like a bhuna but again tasted ok. The masala covered chips had no masala sauce so not sure what happened there. So would I go back there. Unfortunately not. Not really anything special. And hardly any choices.

Great food. If you're looking for curry with a difference, this is for you. Tasty and had its own style. I am very rarely happy with curry outside Bradford, or even inside for that matter This however was a refreshing chance and will definitely return to sample more.

We had a book club social here and it was such a wonderful venue. The staff were so kind. Special shout out to the two young waitresses lexie and verity who worked their socks off. The food was amazing. Such good samosas! They catered to all dietary requirements including vegan and gluten free. Highly reccomend.

My family and I visited the Grand Bangla for a relatives birthday recently and had the most wonderful time. It was a pleasure to meet the team and support a new local restaurant. The cuisine was truly a stand-alone experience and superseded our expectations! We loved the Bangladeshi touch and the presentation of our food - and now much prefer a roti to a naan! If you haven’t visited yet and are looking to try some authentic - high quality Bangladeshi/Indian cuisine with a twist, we highly recommend a visit here. We will definitely be returning! Thank you once again to the talented chef, friendly front of house staff and the wider team. We had a fabulous time!

Utterly charming village pub completely let down by the hostile attitude of the owner. We pulled up intending to have a beer and some lunch and visit churchills grave 3 mins over the road and were subjected to a screaming session from the owner who had just pulled up and was displeased about the amount of cars in the car park. Turns out the primary school opposite had an early finish and parents had used her car park for collection. We had to enter the pub to register our numberplate anyway, and even after telling her we would be returning for lunch after walking over to the grave site (c. 10 mins total when we later went) she continued screaming that she didnt care and we had to move our car, and followed us into the pub, continuing to shout infront of lunchtime customers, even continuing after her barman explained about the early school leaving. We paid for a beer as the car park was then too full of people to move the car easily, but decided we weren't spending lunch there. Car park was empty before half a pint was finished so we moved to the opposite side of the road and visited the grave site as planned. For a countryside 'community pub', that reception was unacceptable. I understand issues with parking around school time but that is part of being a community, and easily manageable without being aggressive to customers. Rural pub footfall is based on ramblers and walkers visiting and being so close to a national landmark must be a huge benefit to their footfall so I am unsure why, if there was such an issue on a private site, signage or other means couldn't have been used, or communication to the school/parents regarding her wishes

Called Sunday afternoon just for a drink, good pint of Hawkstone session lager. A busy place with most tables taken with diners. There is a small area near the bar where they were happy for us to sit just having a drink, but it is more restaurant than pub.

We were staying locally and search Google to find this place - fantastic. Two great Real Ales (Timothy Taylor and Doom Bar) and tried them both. We ate in the Restsurant, but the Menu was the same. Great choice - two of us had the Pie 🥧 & two had the chicken supreme. Everything was delicious. The Staff were fantastic and made the evening even better 👏 👏👏👏

Food was absolutely amazing. Was really nice everyone is lovely. Then came to my room after dinner to watch love island to find out that the tv doesn’t have itv2. Gutted also means I couldn’t fall asleep listening to family guy so not happy. Ps I like you’re baths there very deep:) if the tv had itv2 it would be 10/10 but because of this I rate it 7/10.

We had such a lovely lunch at Huffkins in Burford yesterday. Sitting in the window watching the world go by. The staff were so lovely, kind and attentive. There was a lovely buzz within the whole place. The food was amazing!!! and to top it off what a delicious Chocolate Milkshake! Will certainly be coming back on our way through!
