Granary Restaurant in Leeds

Went for coffee and cake . Mistake with the order , my mistake not the restaurant. Sorted with no issue at all . Warm and friendly staff . Can’t wait to go again .

We love this restaurant the food is always great and hot and can't recommend it enough to our friends and family. We had breakfast it was fabulous 👌

Excellent prawn skewers with salad and lemon meringue dessert. The staff were excellent and really friendly. We also enjoyed the shop, walk and garden centre, will be back soon.

Had an excellent lunch at the Granary today. The restaurant was very busy which was good to see, but this didn't affect the service which was welcoming, friendly and efficient. One of us had the steak pie and one had the large fish and chips ( and boy was it large!) Both meals were delicious, piping hot and nicely presented. The fish was beautifully cooked, moist with a light crispy batter. One of us managed to squeeze in a dessert, the homemade carrot cake which was lovely. Two coffees rounded things off nicely. We don't often go for lunch, more frequently we are there for breakfast, but we really enjoyed it today and with so many tempting offerings on the lunch menu I'm sure we'll be back.

My friend and I visited for brunch on April 2,when we sat down the waitress said that we only had 1 hour at the table because my friend was late,we didn’t know what she meant because nobody said the table was only available for 90 minutes when I booked,the food was good,after. 1hour the same lady came and tapped her wrist and said 5 minutes ladies,she was unfriendly and rude, my friends and I have been going to this restaurant for a lot of years and wished to return but we will not be doing because we want to be spoken to in a nice way and when we have travelled 30 minutes we want more than 90 minutes as we have done previously many times,I did say that this must be a new rule but she denied it which cannot be true because last time we were there for almost 3 hours at the same table, I wanted to give feedback in a different way but I got no joy on the phone and my friend sent an email which had no response

As always our breakfasts were tasty, well cooked and nicely presented. We were served by a new member of staff and it was good to see how patiently and thoroughly he was being instructed into his new role. There’s always a pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant and the adjoining shop is a real bonus. Walking round the garden it was good to see signs of spring coming It’s one of our favourite places to visit, thank you!

I love The Granary restaurant. I’ve been coming here for years with my family. Excellent food, welcoming staff and great service. We always purchase from the farm shop too when we visit.

Easy booking process on line, went for breakfast and chose smoked kippers and also a 5 item breakfast. Large pot of tea for two . Great food, beautifully cooked and very reasonably priced. Superb service by brilliant staff. We will be back!

We are regulars here because we love it so much. We were seated in the conservatory which was lovely. The food was amazing, kippers for one of us and poached eggs for the other. Plus a large pot of tea for two. Superb service by all the staff. Great value for money too! We always recommend The The Granary to all our friends.

The food was great, the service was brilliant and the staff were lovely, knowledgeable and helpful. Everything was on time, we were not kept waiting or ushered out when we lingered talking. We were treated as if we were special when we were just there for a normal meal which made it special. Highly highly recommend.

Fantastic place. More expensive than a regular cafe lunch however food it great quality, beautifully presented and delicious. Lovely surroundings and attentive staff. Fantastic with a great ethos. Also great gardens, play park and walk.

Crag House is such a pleasant place to visit - remarkable barn-conversion room, great friendly staff and very tasty and reasonably priced food.

Always a favourite spot for breakfast. Such a varied menu and the food is first class and the Staff are always so friendly and helpful.

Went with a friend and had a lovely afternoon tea. Lovely sandwiches, home made scone and nice cakes, excellent value for the price. There was a lady playing the piano so a lovely atmosphere, will definitely come again

Went with my son, husband and granddaughter. Staff were excellent, food was excellent, service excellent. A high chair, colouring crayons and picture to colour in was set up on our arrival. Had a thoroughly enjoyable time. We visit regularly.

I go quite often to the granary and today with mum had lunch. The food is always so delicious and the friendliness of the staff was fantastic. I know Lily from church, and it's always nice to see her. Will be back again for sure.

As always we really enjoyed a leisurely breakfast once again at the Granary restaurant. Always super food served so fresh and by a wonderful group of Staff.

Now realise why I had difficulty booking here, the Christmas lunch was beautiful! Generous portions, beautifully cooked main courses and a choice of 4 desserts. Can definitely recommend the meringue! Great staff, lovely atmosphere and the shop has so much to choose from
