Great place. Go once a week i would say. Although there is a selection of hot food it is limited. A great selection of cakes and cookies. Great for a quick Pit stop.

I absolutely love it at Gran T’s Coffee House. I’ve gotten a few Too Good To Go bags from here and was always impressed with the food. Their vegan pistachio and carrot cake was my favourite, so today I decided to visit the coffee house and eat/drink in for once. I ordered a coffee and a cake. The decor and atmosphere is extremely cozy and homely. There’s lots of sofas and plush, comfy armchairs to sit on. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way. The coffee was really nice and I love how there’s a separate dog menu. I’ll definitely be returning here and it was good to see how bustling it was inside.

Absolutely incredible place. I came here second time now. Decor is stunning. Food is delicious. I am so happy to have this place in my neighbourhood. I am looking forward for my lunch now!!

Brilliant place very comfy and relaxed just like being in grandma home. Food Amazing had the pistachio cake my son had yummy crisps and yummy chocolate milkshake. Would reccomend anyone to go..hoping to experience sitting in middle as it was very busy.

Gran T's is a bustling coffee house with cosy, decor, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The array of milk shakes, cakes and pastries is unbelievably tempting and delicious but definitely unsuitable for anyone trying to count calories! A trip there when I'm visiting the area is always a highlight.

Our go to place in Altrincham for a drink and a sweet treat. The mango smoothie is the stuff of dreams. Staff are always brilliant and attentive.

Great cafe even for us Aussies who are picky about their coffee. Great atmosphere and lovely people, wonderful service. Coffee is a fabulously large size too. Dogs are allowed in the cafe which was brilliant.

Not often in Altrincham, my home town and came across this lovely cafe. Really good coffee, recommend without hesitation. The cafe also very inviting but did not have time to drink in.

Amazing service from such friendly staff. We had tea and cake. Winter tea was like Christmas in a cup and a generous sized pot. The cake was delicious. Environment is warm and cosy with great spacing so you can eat, drink and chat in comfort. Wanted to purchase the tea to take home, they currently don’t sell it but made us some take home bags and boxed in fun personalised boxes as a surprise. Wow, never had such wonderful service. Whenever I’m in Altrincham I will most definitely visit.

I had a pot of strawberry and kiwi tea. Taste amazing best fruit tea ever, staff so friendly and a fabulous relaxed atmosphere. This will definitely be the place we go for afternoon tea whenever we visit Altrincham

I am reluctant to write this review as I do not want this amazing place to become too busy. The food, drinks and service is impeccable. The atmosphere always makes me smile. Coffee is alright but the atmosphere is busy lively and you can tell a lot of locals like it, I'm sure the food is lovely but the coffee could be stronger and have better beans

Lovely atmosphere and environment. I love supporting local business. The coffee is lovely but the food is a bit more expensive and on the suboptimal side of things but definitely better than at one of the coffee chains.

It was my first time in today and I'll definitely be back. Service was good, latte was good, ambiance was good, slice of cake was ok. Next visit could we'll get an upgrade to the fifth star.

An amazing place to relax. As soon as I entered I was greeted by the friendly staff who instantly made me feel welcomed. There are plenty of comfy seats/ sofas to choose from. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and they offer loyalty stamp cards (10th cup for free). Highly recommend.

Quite a discovery... super comfy, stylish yet relaxed with a great atmosphere. Generous pots of real tea, large quality coffee and fine cakes. Good welcome and hospitality... worth seeking this cosy cafe.

I've been calling it "Grant's" for a week, how embarrassing. Nice coffee house though - clean, nice decor, good coffee. My wife was very impressed with the sand timer for assisting with steeping her tea.

Inside the cafe looks lovely, such a nice atmosphere I really love coming here and the staff are always friendly. The drinks never disappoint me and are always great.

We finally visited Gran Ts coffee house for the first time this morning and loved it. Our coffees tasted great and the girls at the bar were very friendly. The staff looked like they were having a good time and enjoying their work which you don't seem to get with a lot of coffee shops or restaurants nowadays. The place is also quite funky and unique looking inside with lots of seating choices. Will definitely be returning whenever we're in ALtrincham

Lovely down to earth friendly service

Attended Movie Night on the 18th December to watch The Holiday. Wonderful, chilled environment , great hot chocolate and wonderful hosts. Looking forward to another movie night in the future.

Have gone there when in Altrincham and will return there when next in the area as s great independent place for a daily cuppa, now got a good online store of related stuff and look forward to going there on any next trip they is made, great set if staff there and great set of food and drinks when there also.

I have only visited once to pick up leftover food with toogoodtogo, but I did pick up a (decaf) latte also, and it's one of the nicest coffees I've had! Not bitter at all, I didn't add any sugar and it didn't taste sweet as if they'd added any either. The decor of the place looked beautiful, and my mum and I (who I shared the food with) really enjoyed the food I picked up! I definitely need to visit more often!

A little disappointed to see that the scones aren’t freshly baked in store. They arrive individually packed in plastic which the staff open and put on display. Still, a nice place for a coffee and a cake if in the area.

Had the lemon, ginger and honey presse - as not a coffee drinker - would recommend it totally. Ada our very nervous hound was made welcome and we settled down to a lovely drink in lovely surroundings. Bliss. Sloh, and the staff are ace. Will deffinately coming again - when I get chance!

A really nice place to sit down with a cup of coffee. They have a wide selection of drinks and desserts, and also ice cream and frozen yogurt! I tried the chocolate ice cream with salted caramel sauce and the double machiato, and it was all lovely. The decor is beautiful with nice homely touches. I'd love to come again.

Literally the best coffee in the universe

Only had takeaway due to covid, but saying that the staff were lovely, the food is good too, and really nice cakes. Been there twice now and hope to visit again when allowed to dine in, worth a try imho.

Chris & Laura are just lovely, as is the coffee, tea, cakes, scones, ambience.....I could go on! Looking forward to being able to sit in or out again, once lock down is over, to enjoy all the treats you offer :) Keep up the good work in staying so positive xx

Came in for a coffee and something to eat with a friend. The quality was very good and the settings are classy - but they are to suit a certain type of person. It tries to be more than just a coffee shop (and the prices reflect that). If you're just looking for a cheap coffee and to go on your way, or something more minimalist, then look elsewhere; if you want to go for a coffee but get an experience more in keeping with a meal, the settings really are affable.

Amazing customer service, friendliness and great knowledge of products. Even for us regulars it’s nice to see the staff treat everyone the same!

I go to Gran Ts regularly with my girlfriend. The staff are incredibly friendly and the quality of the coffee and cake is outstanding.

Lovely staff and even better coffee. It’s always busy (when COVID allows) and the shop has a great atmosphere. This is the kind of coffee shop that every town needs.

Got a takeaway coffee for my wife and I had a orange hot chocolate...absolutely delicious....the cafe is covid safe to a high standard, and best of all the service is great, extremely friendly...they even gave me an extra piece of chocolate orange 🍊 so I didn't have to share mine...a really nice touch....5 star service, environment and coffee. Thank you.

Such a shame to go back into lockdown but still providing a takeaway service with their usual friendly manner and charm. Altrincham should be proud of this little local business.

Bobbed in here this morning whilst waiting for my tattoo appointment down the road. Really welcoming and friendly. Comfy chairs, clean, Coffee was yum. Toilets were clean with hot water, soap and hand dryer. Only stayed for ten mins or so but will definitely return when I go back for my next tattoo sesh next month.

Called in here while waiting for a train. Service was friendly and inviting, the coffee was impressively good and they had it ready within seconds it seemed. The seating is homely and it's the perfect place to relax with a book or just to chill for an hour or two. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough!
