Is this place even still open?? I used to order from here regularly several years ago. Last weekend 29 March we placed an online order, it was accepted, but no order turned up. Two hours of ringing all their phone numbers 'til midnight got us nowhere -- they don't answer their phone. For two days the charge to my account was 'pending', and then boop! it was fully charged against my account. Still they won't answer their phones, and my bank has to take on the task of reimbursing me and recouping the loss from this business. By the looks of it, their online system is still up and running and accepting orders. Keep WELL AWAY from Gourmet Oriental unless you want to be charged £60 for nothing.

La comida no se mostró, no pude obtener una respuesta de ninguno de los 3 números de teléfono y mis 2 e. Los correos hasta la fecha han sido ignorados. Lamentablemente, pagué con el pedido y ahora tengo 37. 80 de su bolsillo. Cuatro días después todavía no he podido obtener una respuesta. Si decide utilizar esta empresa, no pague con el pedido, pague contra entrega.

Ordenado en línea para una entrega. Tengo una confirmación de pedido - tiempo estimado de entrega 7. 30 - 8 pm. Llamado a las 8 pm. Sin respuesta. Llamado de nuevo. Sin respuesta. Se mantuvo llamando. Aún sin respuesta.  9 pm y me estoy rindiendo. Servicio terrible 2 sucursales, 3 números de teléfono. cero servicio al cliente. Evita este lugar. O enfrentar el hambre. Como yo.

Just a shame that Just Eat tells you that delivery is free over a certain amount, but at checkout you still get charged delivery, and to make it worse, there is a service charge added. Food and delivery O.K. Extras a rip off.

way over priced for the poor food and service. The food took 1hr and 30mins to arrive. I only ordered a quarter duck and chicken satay skewers. the chicken and duck were both cold and dry. the satay sauce was oily and the duck came without the hoisin sauce!!! First time and last time customer.

No estoy seguro de por qué este lugar recibe tan malas críticas, solo he tenido grandes experiencias. Encuentro la comida más saludable y menos grasosa / salada que otras comidas para llevar, por lo que les pido en la rara ocasión en que me entregan la comida y pago los precios más altos. Creo que solo se trata de una entrega, y mis platos favoritos son el pescado limón (muy sabroso) y el tofu general tsos (creo que así se llama, muy picante, así que si no te gusta el sabor, no es para ti). Estoy justo en el camino de ellos, tal vez como resultado la entrega realmente rápida. Me sorprendió leer los comentarios sobre el servicio al cliente, ya que siempre los encontré muy agradables por teléfono. Una vez cometieron un error en el pedido, me dieron un plato de carne en lugar de verduras y yo soy un pescador, se disculparon por teléfono y entregaron el correcto en 15 minutos.

Best takeaway I've had in years...try the mushroom fried rice with Malaysian tofu curry! The alcohol list could be cheaper, in particular a more affordable option in the red wine list.

This is a reliably tasty takeaway, and I have only one caveat. A few months ago they stopped including free fortune cookies, and now they have stopped including free prawn crackers. The call takers now sound Antipodean and I suspect a change of ownership.

burnt starters and soggy bottoms on the buns. I’m not Mary Berry but when I order food I don’t want to be tasting food that frankly I could cook better myself. ordered from here before on the site and others it’s a shame that our complaint wasn’t accepted. won’t be ordering again in the light of the attitude given. First order from here, nice food, delivered early, will definitely order from here again

The pad Thai had hardly any vegetables and an overpowering sauce when it was meant to be a veg pad Thai. Also it was missing the normal things like bean sprouts and a slice of lime. The other dish wasn’t anything special in flavour to make up for it. Won’t be ordering again.

I have ordered food with this restaurant before and I was always pleased with the food. Unfortunately, today the food was very poor. For the flavour of the plates you could tell it was reheated, specially the Teriyaki chicken, the Hunan Chilli Lamb bearly had lamb on it and the Yeung Chow Special Fried Rice. I feel very dissapointed as even the boxes containing the food had holes on it (for microwave reheating I guess) I called the restaurant for a solution and they did not want to do anything about it. According to them the food was in good condition. Will never order from them again. Shame.

Great that it came early but was disappointed. Sushi set was inedible (almost frozen and old) Spent nearly £40 but felt that most of the food was from a microwave. Probably won't order from here again unfortunately.

Super quick friendly delivery. Food could be better. Onions very roughly chopped and not cooked, sauces not reduced, but taste pretty good. Would benefit from taking a few minutes more in the kitchen and they’d still be able to delivery a bit early!

no idea how the food tastes as I still haven’t received it and when it gets here it will be too late to eat. To take more than 90 minutes to deliver food less than a mile in London is a joke. if you can’t do what your paid for then don’t take my order.

Food been delivered on time. Udon Noodle and Singapore noodle is great without so greasy. Thai green curry prawns is so tasty to go with jasmine rice. Will order again.

Massively impressive menu. :)... didnt order much this time, but must say it was all real tasty, high quality ingredients, loved the breathable lid idea 5*. Would like to visit the restaurant soon.

I am thoroughly disgusted with this business!!!! I have ordered 4 times from this restaurant in 6 weeks, spending on average £30 a time. This order however, was over 20 minutes late at a cost of £40 which could not get delivered because the driver wanted to park in my underground car park and requested my personal security code to access the building!!!!! Even though this already late delivery was attempted at 7.45pm when yellow line parking is authorised. Calling the shop itself was USELESS as they could not understand what I was saying until I said I CANCEL this order and want a refund. Then they told me the driver is now at the correct door trying to gain entry (28 minutes late) I NEVER leave bad reviews but I am steaming at my treatment this evening, absolutely steaming.

I've never had reason to complain before, as the food is always of high quality (as per everything else in this order), but the Roasted Char Siu Buns were inedible. They clearly had been microwaved after being roasted at some earlier time, with the dough of the bun being rock hard, and the filling dry and burnt - not soft and juicy as with previous times. I'd like a refund of their cost or complimentary portion - that have been cooked correctly - on my next order.

Nice food, not great value when compared with others though. Rock solid on flavour but expect to pay about 40% more than your local if you can find one that doesn't microwave old food and cooks fresh.

I ordered food at 5pm to be delivered at 7.30, as I was going out til then. The food arrived at 5.30, and my lodger took it in, assuming I’d ordered it. So we came back at 19.30 to cold, clammy food. They have however offered us a 50% refund, which helps, but we’ve still just had a horrible meal.

Had 3 dishes Dim Sum selection - pretty horrible. Not much flavour, textures all wrong. 3/10 Rice - good. Tasty and plenty of it. 7.5/10 Crispy shredded chilli beef - tasty, reallly nice & crispy, but couldn’t really taste any chilli. 6/10

The food was delicious with the portion sizes being great!! We ordered around 740, with an estimated delivery time of 845. However it arrived half an hour earlier!!!

Chicken satay dry and inedible. Prawn toast & veg spring roll soggy. Cucumber & spring onion with crispy duck dry as a bone (old and left to dry out) and not even cut into strips but large chunks...just lazy. Rice dry. This place used to be great! Used to taste so fresh, now all dry and tastes like re-heated old food. Very sad and absolutely inconceivable given it cost £46. (No drink, no alcohol, just starters- 1x chicken satay, 1x crispy duck, 1x prawn toast, 1x veg spring roll and 1x rice.) Don't bother.

Yeah bit of a weird one - I had ordered the meal for 7:30 but they tried to deliver it two hours early at 5:30 so I sent it back... naively assuming they'd probably redo the meal as it was such a big gap... However, when it came it was clearly the same bag with 5:30 crossed out and 7:10 (still early) written next to it. The food was therefore lukewarm and needed to be reheated. Really disappointing guys - I don't think it's right to have meal going stale for such a long time and then just redelivering the same food is just wrong.

Pad thai was absolutely awful, totally overcooked and tasted of nothing. Prawn toast were soggy, spring rolls were just full of noodles? The only good thing about this meal was the Tom Yam soup broth - the vegetables in it were tinned though I think so we didn't eat them either. Won't be ordering again.

Haven’t used Gourmet Oriental for a while when their food quality dipped but very pleased to see it back up to high standards again. My tofu and vegetable dishes were top notch.

We ordered mainly dim sum along with a couple of other items. We loved the food, especially the steamed buns. We are at the outer reaches of their delivery area but it arrived about 10 minutes earlier than they estimated and was steaming hot. This was a birthday treat, it is not our local phone out and we didn't order our usual things so I can't compare, I just know that we loved what we had. It was expensive, near twice the cost of our regular Chinese meals but, as I said, we ordered things that we can't get anywhere else. This was our third meal from them in about as many years and there was nothing that makes me think we won't use them again next year.

Cold and soggy Thai curry was like water (my grandmother is Thai and I have never had it like this ) . Arrived late couldn’t get through to the restaurant.

The food was late and driver was rude and stormed off telling us We were lucky he didn't cancel it. The food was wet and soggy and cold. We ordered and paid for prawn crackers that never arrived and ordered vegetarian spring rolls that had both prawns and meat in them.

Delivered 10 mins earlier than estimated time. All dishes tasty - plenty of sauces etc. Will use again.

we used to order from here years ago without any problems and always loved the food. today was a shockingly bad experience and will probably never order from them again. initial order delivery was delayed to an hour which is odd for an order after 9pm. then the food didn’t actually arrive on time, the driver was roughly 30mins late. I had called the restaurant in this time and they said he should be there now and he will call. he never did. I had to pay a £5 delivery fee which is a joke and the food wasn’t worth the price, it was cold bland and the portions of items were so skewed. I had more onion than I did my actual meal. avoid if you want to have a nice meal and enjoy your evening

The Chef was very kind and gave us additional Wonton Soup - the driver followed every direction which we provided to him which includes checking to the reception and bring up all utensils and plates.

Food came late, unapologetic delivery man. Dim sum was OK, chow mein didn't have any veggies, and the rice (supposedly 'Jasmine rice') was bland. Wouldn't order again.

Although the delivery time was not bad, the attitude of the driver was rotten. With no effort paid to find the given address they've made it my responsibility for living at a 'difficult place', while my house is on the main street and have sent them the full address with photos multiple times. at last my food arrived, together with complains about how I was unhelpful towards the delivery, while I really can't think of any further way to help. They've even threaten to cancel my future order for my house being difficult to find. I am not ordering a takeout so I can hand feed all information to the driver who had only one job. I appreciate the effort however the behaviour is not forgivable.

Valentines dinner order - pricey menu so expectations were high! But thoroughly disappointed at how boring & unauthentic the flavours were. I mean I had to add salt and pepper just to get something out of it! Our order wasn't even complicated so didn't expect it to be so wrong! General Tso chicken was even tried the way it was supposed to and was no where near spicy but menu insisted it was spicy! Duck was OK...not great. Chicken fried rice had no flavours and chicken was so overcooked it was dry and hard to swallow! Dumpling were waaaaay to doughy! Will not be going back. The only good thing I can say was that since our order was over £25 we got 2 free tiramisus!

Sadly not great. Spring rolls were a tad thin with carrots etc not in them but in the box. Ordered sweet and sour chicken - asked for chicken to be plain when submitting the order and sauce in a side tub. Came soaked in sauce which wasn’t what I wanted. I shared my portion with a friend who doesn’t like the sauce. The restaurant did however send another portion out correctly which was nice of them and this turned up correctly but the chicken was very cold. So didn’t manage to eat much. A real shame.

Although my order was early I was not home, so the restaurant rectified this immediately and a fresh order was made, unfortunately the delivery driver gave me the wrong order, which I noticed straight away, so he corrected this. This again was an incorrect order, but I did not realise until the driver had left. I phoned the restaurant straight away and the gentleman I had spoken to previously was very helpful and ensured I got my order and the incorrect order was collected. My food was warm and tasty as always, hence why, although I live in Teddington, I order from Twickenham, because the quality of the food is always of high quality.

Good earth was closed so thought I’d try something else..you might be reassured by this place’s presence in Chelsea, and Knightsbridge but don’t be fooled - completely over inflated price for what is is.

I ordered early in the evening, about 6.40 and instantly there was extra time added to the delivery time. This made the delivery intended to be 19.55. Now, this was a bit late as I had two excited children waiting for the special birthday treat, but I was begrudgingly prepared to wait. You can imagine my disappointment when the food turned up at 8.50 & was at best tepid in temperature. the quality of the food was very good but delivery is definitely not the way to go.

Was bad I ordered king Po chicken I have loved it from other restaurants and it was incredibly spicy and so much random crunchy white vegetable could have been left out ruined it and have no idea what it is hardly any chicken

I was going to say this is one of the worst delivery meals ever but that would be wrong, it was by a distance the worst delivery meal ever. Firstly it turned up 90 minutes late Secondly it was cold Thirdly it tasted awful and on contacting the restaurant we were told we will pick it up and give you a refund only for them to pick it up take it away say we had eaten it and no refund. Stay away if you want an average meal if you want a good meal do not go near

I ordered the vegetarian dim sum and vegetable spring rolls. The dim sum's flavour was good but unfortunately by the time we got them became mushy. The spring rolls were delicious and crunchy.

Fantastic touf stir fry with chilli and garlic! Great Gyozas too. A little pricey compared to the Chinese takeaways that i am use to, but well worth it.
