Lovely place to eat relaxing to enjoy meal

Delicious food and quick service would defo recommend

£40 for a milkshake and two small burgers with no sides. We left hungry

Staff members very disgraceful and rude. Made a booking for a table at 12.30 turned up and got told to go away and return in 30mins. What’s the point on having an online booking service when you can’t supply the tables ver very distracting. Went elsewhere for food

It was a mid week lunchtime and the restaurant was very quiet. But my simple burger and fries took 25mins to arrive (I’d pressed the ‘attention’ button on the table but no one came). There were only four other occupied tables so it says a lot that no one bothered to check why a customer was sitting at an empty table for 25mins. When it came, the burger was stone cold. I was immediately refunded but this was a sad place to visit - the staff seemed unhappy. My main impression was that no one cared. That is the fault of the managers and owners and not of the (low paid) staff.

Literally the worst smash burger I have ever had. Dry, tasteless & boring. Not worth the price whatsoever. Don't even start me on the cold, not so loaded fries as they were embarrassing for the price. Nearly £100 for 4 people!! Scandalous....will never ever return unfortunately

Used to love going here every time we go to cribbs, but we went yesterday and it's totally changed. The menu has been cut down drastically, and so have the food portions. Almost £40 for 2 small burgers, 2 fries and 2 soft drinks is extortionate for the size of them. Looks like the old lunch burgers are being used for the main menu now. Genuinely McDonald's is now better value. Also we couldn't use our taste card whilst paying at the till. Not everyone wants to do everything via an app. Really disappointed and won't be returning to any GBK. The service was excellent, so I'm not sure why the company is trying to take that element away!

Disgustingly grease food, overcooked and nobody bothers to check on you. I was not even able to taste any gherkin or cheese, all it was just grease.. so sad as I used to eat daily, GBK used be me favourite burger restaurant 😫

We were pleasantly surprised to see GBK in Cribbs Causeway, however, after eating two of their classic burgers.. to say we are disappointed is understatement. Imagine eating beef dripping with the spoon, this is how Classic smashed burger tastes like. For £23.50 you could by a barrel of it. Sorry we did not take a picture as we were embarrassed and just left. We were considering not to leave any feedback, but as nobody came to see if we have enjoyed our meal, we decided it’s only fair to do so. Perhaps, a different choice of burgers would be a better choice?

Told the kitchen were 'too busy ' to cut up my friends food. Surely this is a basic service for a paying customer. We had 2 nice but overpriced burgers

Great burgers And the price was quite reasonable for a sit down burger restaurant Had the blue cheese burger and the rocket man burger (me and my partner always have half of eachothers so we can try both) Both really tasty burgers cooked to your preference Will continue to return when in the mood for a good burger

Average burger for extortionate prices. £60 for lunch for three of us. There are better burgers out there that charge a lot less. Quite disappointed.

We had a vegan classic (bean burger) and vegan Californian. I had much higher expectation from GPK and was disappointed. They really need to work on their vegan options and catch up with their competition. Service was great, as always.

Foods are so nice and delicious. Very filling and worth the price! Love the environment. Staffs are super nice, our waiter is very kind, shout out to MK!

Sadly, really tiny portion size for both burgers and onion rings. The website was quite confusing as its completely different to the actual menu - almost paid an additional 1.50 for cheese on a cheeseburger... The staff were very lovely and burgers actually tasted great, but we did not feel that the price was justified and heard the table next to us complaining about the portions as well. Unfortunately, the onion rings were undercooked too and weren't very enjoyable. Overall, we're feeling quite unsatisfied.

Half empty restaurant, and they're refusing to seat anyone else because the kitchen got a bit overload.... so.... basically incompetent if they can cater for the number of covers they have.

My son loves the kids burger and milk shakes. He said they are awesome.

Nearly an hour long wait for food, not the best, only reason people are leaving 5 star reviews is because if they do then GBK have a ‘spin the wheel’ which has guaranteed win every time. So people only leaving 5* reviews for freebies. Which is basically blackmail

Bog standard GBK, no problems and enjoyable food. No issues with service or quality. Update: So that was a few years ago. Things have gone downhill so much in the time between that review and now. The menu I can't blame the the franchise, but it has been trimmed down and left out some of the best parts of the chain. Plus no hei hei salt or the hot sauces... Shame. But this visit was just painful. I asked for a medium burger, get a well done with a black crust to the burger. I took one bite and it was chewy and dry. Attempts to send it back took the best part of 10 minutes and the waitress gave me a blank confused look when I said I ordered a medium and the burger was well done. It's more a reflection that GBK staff just bring you the food and clear the tables. It's not really a proper table service restaurant, but that hasn't really changed tbh. The refire was also a well done. So I gave up and ate it anyway. Not reccomended. Shame, GBK used to be great in general.

Amazing experience, would recommend to anyone in the cribbs mall looking for a cheeky burger! From service to food, finishing in music the experience was unforgettable! It is not your Michelin star restaurant but it’s for sure next in line. Angelica provided excellent service will be coming back very soon!

Went last night, I had the "naked" Rocketman. Naked = no bun, so you get a good Salad with the burger and the rocket fuel is the habanero jam. Chunky fries on the side and it was great. Service was friendly and efficient. Really enjoyed it and would recommend a visit to everyone

Had lunch here today and had their lunch time deal which was great. Don’t normally write reviews but just wanted to say that the service I received from the two men working the lunchtime shift today(25/01 @13.30)was excellent. Felt like they genuinely cared about their job and the customer enjoying their experience! Great job guys!

Came in Sunday afternoon and ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers my sons was ok thou they forgot the relish & mine looked like they were running out of ingredients with just a half piece of bacon and a tiny maybe quarter piece of a cheese slice you could barely see any cheese ! Send back twice & waitress tried to tell there was cheese on there and that maybe it had been on the grill too long !! No apologies for the lack of cheese or bacon but both eventually replaced. Waitresses don’t check back to see if foods ok better off going to Burger King

Wouldn’t go again. There’s nothing ‘Gourmet’, or really even ‘Burger’ about this place and maybe there is something that qualifies as ‘Kitchen’ 😂 The meat was incredibly dry and burned. I asked for a medium and got… extra well done?! 😅 My wife had a salad, which was really just a bag of cabbage with 3 pieces of chicken on top, no sign of some of the ingredients from the menu. The kids actually enjoyed their food and the service was really good!

Atmosphere was quiet the time we visited, however first time going so don't know if this is normal or as it was quiet due to nearly closing time

Not been for a while and was very disappointed. The chicken burger was small and looked lost on the plate. The onion rings which used to be huge and a stack were so small and in a basket to he honest they were too small to stack! Prices have gone up which I expected but food had shrunk! Not good and to top it all it was warm burger and cold fries!

In simple terms, you get what you pay for. Reasonable price, but my burger became a little sicky. But I do recommend the truffle fries yummy. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Omg this place is amazing, food fantastic, staff fantastic, atmosphere fantastic, I'm so impressed with everything I'm definitely coming back, you really need to taste the blue cheese coleslaw and the burgers what more can I say apart from yum yum

Slow service had to wait 45 mins for two burgers and a couple of drinks. I was disappointed with the size of the portions when it did arrive for the price you paid. The only upside was the pot of tea, which gave you enough for 3 and 1/2 cups of tea. Sorry, but I don't think I will be going back.

2£ to change beef to chicken it’s a bit to much as paying burger with beef with meat in already

Early Christmas shopping in Cribs Causeway. Decided to have lunch at GBK. Queued for 12 noon opening. It stayed busy all through our visit. A long wait for my medium cooked 'taxi driver' burger, but it did arrive nicely charred on the outside and pink on the inside. Tasty sweet potato fries.

The first thing to notice is just how aweful the quality of sound / music. Lyrics and bass so badly defined you barely recognise anything except a muffled blur. Asked for our teas to be served the same time as food but alas, despite the person agreeing to this request, we have drinks served and 5 minutes later we are still waiting for our food. We were served with additional tea when food appeared 15 to 20 minutes later. Spacious area in which to sit, no fatty food small or noxious air like you might find near or inside a fast food outlet. When service times and music rendition have improved then this will be a more enjoyable food proposition. It caters for all age groups and the staff here are especially pleasant, wanting to answer your questions and cater for your needs. We both liked the quality of the beef for taste and texture. For those who like a good english tea, this was let down by full fat milk as their only option. Better off not taking milk or going for another non-alcoholic beverage. The offers, general experience and pricing takes a few visits to grapple with. Food comes in basket unless you ask for a plate. Various options for chips that retail around £4 if its extra to the meal. This will be easier when you settle of a format that appeals to you. Would try the larger burger next visit.

The £7 Burger meal before 5pm was good, plenty of fries and burger was tasty however it stated add a side for £3 and i was charged £5.50? Interior probaly needs updating too

Half an hour wait for food, but we were at least pre-warned. Food wasn't especially hot when it arrived, but it was tasty. Menu didn't seem to offer as many options as I recall from the last time I visited a GBK. All in all, it was fine for an easy lunch.

A spontaneous visit to this mall based restaurant. The food was tasty, and the service was friendly. The only downside was at 7pm they had run out of some of the sides on the menu, but an extra burger added to the stack filled the gap nicely.

My first visit and was not disappointed. Lovely food and a very welcome drink after a shop around the mall.

We were told that we need to wait for around 15-20 minutes outside because they were very busy. I just don’t understand why we could not wait at a table as there were numerous tables free. It’s the first time a restaurant asks me to wait outside while they have free tables and they could serve us some drinks in the meantime. Going to avoid this one and it’s a shame as the one from Clark’s village has great service.

I love the food, it was very tasty and excellent. I took chicken bbq with kimchi coleslaw soo so good. The tea was too sweet but its fine. Service it is odd , they have app to download but working just on iPhone, I tried to used it on android it won't work so I have to order in bar. The waitress was aware of that ... well fine Atmosphere is nice , quite. Overall I like this place and I be back.

Very bad service running by amateurs with no clue about hospitality. We got served Extra Dry chicken tenders they mistaka°°d the name of them for sure for our child. Our burger buns grilled only a top bottom cold but told by manager with attitude its grilled when it wasn't and he walked off burger was well done but ordered medium asked manager for ketchup and mayo got ketchup only and no check backs done thru whole meal if we OK. Sended back my childs food no refund was offered just silent walked away and thats it the best part they haf constant blackouts with no explanation from any of the members that they have issues with electricity on top of it very dirty place loads of dust and masive white stains everywhere on sofas you need deep cleaning for sure 😅

Food here is amazing. Cooked to your liking with alot of customisable options. If you buy the refillable drinks, you need to go and get it refilled yourself as they don't ask if you would like a refill.

Wouldn’t go back. The food was ok, little dry from being over fried but not bad. The bigger issue was their attitude and unwillingness to help a family with young children. My son doesn’t like fries so I asked if I could swap for something else which was refused and no other option offered, not very child friendly but fine I understand ..but then to serve a two year old nearly a whole raw carrot that he couldn’t bite into and food scolding hot directly to a toddler in a hot metal bucket just showed a complete lack of care and they also held the drinks back until the food came( I told her I was buying the extra drink to keep him occupied until the food arrived). It wasnt particularly busy so I just really don’t understand the poor customer service, our server just seemed uninterested in helping, hopefully we just got a bad one

The service was okay but the food wasn't as I was expecting. We were asked to order via the app which the 3 of us did separately but at similar times but the gap between our meals being served was awful. My friend had finished her meal before mine had even arrived. And when it did arrive, it was wrong and th chicken was very jelly-like which was not pleasant. Would not go back and would not recommend.

A long time before I visited a GBK. Burgers, Fries and Onion Rings were all good as were the Milkshakes. Was very busy, though staff all just got on with it. The lady that served us (manager?) was very patient with the 2 kids ordering their own. Thumbs up all round!

Standard chain fair. Service can be a little slow at times, but on the whole not a bad place if you feel like a burger.

Really good burgers, We arrived at the restaurant around 6 pm on a Saturday, was a bit busy so we had to que in front of the restaurant for 5 minutes but as soon as we sat on the table everything was smooth, we had to order at the bar but the food and drinks was served at the table! Overall, it was a great experience, and we will certainly be back!

There was no chicken, there was no bacon, so choice very limited as it was (cheeseburger with a selection of sauces/pickles) I had the gluten free burger and would not recommend it to any other Coeliac - I understand you can never be 100% sure due to cross contamination, but I was very ill following my visit. Very disapointed.

First time here, very pleasant staff. Served by Noemi, very polite and prompt. Food was hot and tasty, very enjoyable meal. Definitely be back for 2nds!
